I’m from the north shore (Malden). When I was in Lauderdale by the sea with my wife last year, I walked past this beef shop absolutely hammered. Had a great beef, and the owner was giving me free beers since I grew up in the north shore. Great beefs, great owners. If anyone’s in the area, check this fucking place out.

I love Boston roast beef sandwiches. I live on the west coast, but for years I worked for a company in Danvers and whenever I left for the airport I would stop at Kelly’s and get a couple of sandwiches. People would always look at that sandwich and you knew they wanted it and one time I gave the guy next to one of them and he couldn’t believe it and it was really nice to enjoy that sandwich with him and it made the long flight home memorable.

Lauderdale by the sea is underrated when it comes to food. It’s a little “touristy” but it’s got some solid food.
