speculation in a court room doesn't work like that. it's intended to stop a lawyer from speculating on what a witness is thinking. in other words, if you object to a lawyer questioning a witness for speculation because the lawyer asked the witness "and you think that john is guilty, right?" you could object to that because it is speculating on what the witness is thinking. however, in this case, the lawyer is indeed speculating, but not against court rules. the lawyer is trying to get alex jones to admit that the questions on the website say that the next shooting will be fake without breaking a court rule, which he did so successfully.

Realistically she is taking every step to try and eliminate any argument that she isn’t giving Alex a fair shake. The only issue is that she may not be comprehending that anybody supporting Alex in this isn’t going to be swayed by anything she does anyways. When it gets to a point like it did here though I understand how much she is trying to be patient and give them chances but at this level it is almost absurd. But I imagine if she finally does lay out some discipline that it’ll be more of an impact since she will have clearly taken every effort she could to avoid doing so.
