Skillet is a Grammy-nominated Christian hard rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1996. The band consists of John Cooper (lead vocalist, bassist), his wife Korey Cooper (rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist), Ben Kasica (lead guitarist), and the newest member Jen Ledger (drummer, vocalist). Skillet has released eight albums, two receiving Grammy nominations: Collide and Comatose. Over the past 13 years, Skillet has spanned many different genres, including hard rock, industrial rock, and symphonic rock. As of late 2009 they have sold over a million albums
Comatose Comes Alive
Comatose Comes Alive DVD/CD is the second live album and second live DVD by the Christian rock band Skillet, which peaked at #164 on the Billboard 200. It is the band's first combination CD/DVD of live recording, as their first official live album was 2000's Ardent Worship, a worship album recorded live. The band's first live DVD was the Alien Youth DVD, which featured an acoustic performance. Comatose Comes Alive was recorded on May 9, 2008, in Chattanooga, Tennessee and was released on October 21, 2008. The album is a CD of the concert's audio and a DVD capturing the live show. However, John Cooper's speech after "Savior" is cut from the CD.

Actually, this song was from the album Invincible. Great song though. It's good to listen to it when you lose a loved one. Considering that I lost my dad a couple of months ago due to a stroke. RIP.

Some of the strongest lyrics come from heavy metal bands. Disciple, Demon Hunter, HB come to mind now and Tourniquet, Bride, and Rez Band were some pioneers. Just seems the harder the band, the stronger the message!

i personally love this song but i have something more important to say. first of all to the guy whose ex died in a car crash. i am praying for you daily my man. may God give you strength in this difficult time. secondly, i want to tell the "christian" people posting on this that people will say dumb stuff and disagree with you. its just a song. its just music. show the love of Christ by not responding. all these guys want is to get a rise out of you. and your giving them what they want. chill.

Seth is different from Ben. I'm pretty sure he'll do an awesome job on new record!! I mean, he does look like Ben's long lost twin.. and that can only mean a good thing..

@Eomerrocks13 Maybe but... the lead guitar is somehow more proeminent then drums :/ And so changing the lead guitarist will change the sound of the band as much as swapping signer.
