Thank you for the video. I am a casual player, and do not know where everything is. When doing these videos, it would be a tremendous help if you could zoom out on the map for a few seconds, and very slowly back in. I had a very difficult time finding each area, but once there, everything else was good to go.
I don't do fractals much so it is very difficult to get enough mastery points... even though I have played since day one, these mastery things were added during a time I was moving to different houses and I just left for sometime; when I started again everything changed.
I know this was written back before mounts existed, but if you have a springer with high jump, you can reach this from the outside without ever entering down below.

Are the mastery insights account bound?? I used a new level 80 character which i never used for these insights before and it seems that I cannot commune with any of the insights as it says i have already communed. I have only done all these insights on my main character.
I was following this video today and..oh fuck did they change the position of the Mount Maelstrom's point? Edit: Alright for this one I went to Avernan Waypoint to the right of the mastery point and climbed in a straight line, I got stuck a couple of times but if you have a ground mount you can use the extra verticality of the dismount animation jump to get out of it and keep climbing. It is actually easier than the old position
GS I wish they would update Orr and revamp zhaitan fight with open raid 2 hours then rest just like DS that would be awesome. Please all share your opinion this way we'll have elder Dragon fight without losing another elder Dragon
Thanks for the video! But please, next time you're doing something like the Malchor's Leap puzzle, don't do it on high speed. I know it would make the video longer, but I would rather have a longer video I can follow than one I have to rewind again and again and again and again, just trying to figure out one jump. But thanks; the rest was great!

Why all those guides are georessr game? Do not recall a single map starts zommed out. As the noob, you obviosely know location of every random zone and waypoint, so let's from step 2...
Are these even worth it, man? I got all 49 tyrian mastery months ago...and lost quite a lot of gold in the attempt. It really isn't fair for Anet to introduce them now....
Jahin Stormblade They're worth it only if you haven't fully unlocked core Tyria mastered. If you have, there's no point in getting these, except for the 1AP each one gives.

You can look the achivement up in the official GW2 wiki. There is the nearest waypoint noted as well as a description on how to get there ;)

What about the Mastery point north of Amduat Point in Firestarter Rise?
I dont have a mount so I can't seem to reach it.
did they change the location for the mount maelstrom mastery point? its somewhere else where i found it
Likewise - looks like they moved it off of the volcanic rim and put it sort of inside the rim in another spot just counter-clockwise of there.

They've changed the position of the Mt Maelstrom mastery. It's pretty much the same route but a bit closer
i know you made this video a long time ago but i wanted to let you know the Mount Maelstrom Insight: Volcanic Rim is not longer in that spot anymore.
