- Come and see my new craft room/art studio/office space!
In this video, I take you through the process of shopping at IKEA building furniture, choosing a Layout with organization and storage furniture.
Come with me from beginning to end to see my brand new craft space and help me define how I’m going to use it! I know for sure I want to use it for planning in my new Hobonichi Weeks, and Hon, my Erin Condren Planners. It will be used for filming my fabfitfun unboxings, Scrapbooking, junk journaling, travelers, notebooks, mixed media, card making, RUclips studio, office space and so much more.
With budget of $3,000 Canadian!
Here is the video I used to learn how to put together the Alex Drawers.

It looks light and airy. I really like that you have found two ways to set up your space. Option A is a visual bonus. When you have a major project, or when someone else is also working in your space, option B could be a good choice. Isn't that the cool thing about moduler pieces? They afford you the ability to shift your space to accomodate your needs. Yay YOU, so many wonderful projects and creations will be dreamed up and become a reality in your new studio!
Option A looks more pleasing to the eye visually.
I love your space. I think I love love option B :) tfs
You have a great space. I love all you’ve done ❤
Thank you so much Kelly!!!
Wow your new room looks fantastic! I love all the pretty decor. Both options look great, but if I had to pick one I’d go with A.
Thanks so much! 😊 I appreciate you voting! It’s so awesome to see what everyone else thinks!
Both are great. Beautiful space.
Thank you! 😊 I’m really enjoying my space, I currently have the norden table in the middle of the room. It’s working well. Once I’m moved in, I’ll have to make sure to film an update!
Your craft room is so pretty. I liked the look of one but probably the function of the second. I would say try each set up for a week or two and see what functions best for you.
Great idea!! It will take some time before I start creating in this room, the larger challenge is transferring everything from my current (messy)craft room into this smaller minimalist space. Lol.
I like everything you have done...I would choose A.....it seems that Nordan(?) table would serve you better in the middle of the room so you could access both sides of drawers and extensions. Plus I can see that if you were sitting in the chair you could turn to the table easily or reach back to set something on it. I am wondering if you think that the peg boards will work there with the sofa in front of it? That is my thoughts. Thanks for sharing....plus I love the white table in front of the window...good place for filming

You’re 💯 right about the spinning around and the drawers I won’t be able to access the ones against the wall at all! The peg boards aren’t going to be functional more of a way of storing and displaying my beautiful supplies and or creations. I suspect I will put the one I still have and maybe even order more to go on my wall at the desk and then those could be functional.
@@polkadotmailbox yes plus in B that table Nordac looks like it is just pushed there to get it out of the way...in the center it says "I serve a purpose"😂
@@Scrappinologythat’s good to know that it comes across that way! ❤ thanks for the feedback!
The space is really nice! The table the the drop top it’s portable. Those star lamps are nice where did you purchase those? I have a craft room and I moved my furniture around a lot cause I wasn’t shore how I wanted it. But it’s fun because I have my craft space know.
Thank you! The star lamps are also from IKEA, they only have them at Christmas time so you won't be able to find them there until the end of the year.
