Leafs at 30 makes a lot of sense, given expectations and payroll vs. playoff busts year after year. Sorry, but regular season relative success means nothing to the fan base, as it should. Total choke job vs. Habs during COVID. And the most frustration is giving the top players everything they want in terms of $$, no move and term. These players have been calling the shots, not the GM or President, trust me. Have to make an example of Mitch by minimizing his PP time, taking him off PK, and basically frustrating the puck out of him so that he signs for less at the end of the season. Hardball baby!!
Leafs have 2 backup goalies hoping 1 is a legit starter, their 2nd best Dman is 35 and injury prone, their 3rd line center makes $11m, they have a miserable bottom 6 and bottom pair. Aside from Auston Matthews, what do the Leafs have that other teams covet?...
Woll has had injury problems. But his skill set is not back up material. Every team would love to have Nylander. Relax there bud. The leafs are far from winning a cup, but what you said is showing that you don’t know much about the leafs. Also Knies is a 21 year old beast. Relax there bud.

There ARE getting ripped off by the core 4!! you got Nylander with his headaches that only seem to bother him in the playoffs and Nylander told reporters he switched to a tinted visor because of migraines he’d suffered the previous season and the STILL signed the guy!!! better yet, he played his ass off last year UNTIL he signed the big contact, than when MIA for the rest of the year! Marner, well he's Marner! Peter Pan that CAN'T grow up! And then the BIG GUY!! Auston Taylour Matthews!! With the mysterious illness!! Again only in the playoffs! He played every game down the stretch to get his precious record "FAIL" then as soon as the playoffs started "I think I'm seeing a pattern here" He get a terrible illness, so terrible! It doesn't have a name! No one will tell you anything about it! Yeah its called the playoff chokes! Now john tavares is different, he tries but the game is pass him now as a top player anyways.

@@gordonbgraham ok, sure those are Jeeps. Two are broken down, 20$ bottom barrel Jeeps from 1927 that are in bad shape to fill out your roster. The other, is a useful Jeep (I hope you know which is which). You need Jeeps among your leaders. This is usually self evident for people who know hockey well. Either you forgot that or maybe you’re not all that knowledgeable about hockey. Either way, they’re scared to make changes, even though that’s more than clearly what this team needs.
