The guys are then joined by TSN Hockey commentator Gord Miller, live from Paris, to discuss his experiences as a fan at Paris 2024 and the atmosphere at the beach volleyball venue as Canada’s Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson advanced to the Gold Medal match.

Leafs fans are smart - they all know that the moves required to re-make the Leafs as a top NHL team were not made, and I think they resent that the front office thinks we won't notice. They set an expectation, and they have failed to meet it ... what's the mystery?
You might need to look at the definition of “smart” again.
Everyone on earth has known for years that the Leafs aren’t legit.
The fanbase is down on management due to playoff failures and Shanny is still there. There is no accountability. Same old plan. How many times do they need to run it back for it to sink in.
Why are Maple Leafs down? I was a Leafs fan until 1973. At the age of 12. I realized the Leafs were incapable of winning a Stanley Cup. I followed former Leafs goalie Bernie Parent and became a Flyers fan. Saw two championships. When their run was over, I became an Islanders fan. Four championships later, I followed Scotty Bowman and became a Red Wings fan. Four championships. Then a Bruins fan for one championship. Tampa Bay for two championships and rooted for the Panthers for these past two seasons. Thank you, Maple Leafs for helping me see championships were made outside Toronto. Get the NHL package and watch championship teams. PS go Oilers!

The same fans who would have signed Jack Campbell to a long term deal and plug up their cap with a guy who was still unproven and played inconsistent in the playoffs. Woll is still a question mark with his injury-prone track record, and Stolarz will have his first shot at being a starter. I don't see Stolarz being anything beyond a solid backup. Will be interesting to see if Murray can get back to where he was in Pittsburgh as he's the same age as Stolarz. Getting a rental goalie at the deadline will be horrible if they have to do that.

A podcast host hit the nail on the head when he mentioned "crazy eyes" era. Tucker, Clarkson, brindamor as examples. A hate to lose with a passion. The leafs stars just look bored, surprised they aren't yawning.

Shanny should be fired. Domi earned his contract with his performance in the playoffs.
Because Sbres, Senators, Sharks are all ahead of them teams that not made the playoffs in how long, San Jose who got double digit scored against how many times last season, im not saying the Leafs are in top 10 but 30th come on if it’s just based on playoffs fair enough but it’s not just based on playoffs 😏🙄
Treliving is doing exactly what he did in Calgary. Got a superstar you should trade? Nah, probly run it back and let him walk. Need top 4 defenseman? I guess signing multiple older 3rd pair / 7th defenseman instead. I give it a solid 4 years before the leafs are rebuilding

Baltimore are stacked but lowly Jays still won their recent series, thanks in part to Vladdy, but it’s pitching, pitching & pitching that wins you playoff games and ultimate World Series easier to get strikeouts than home runs always has been always will be, can’t remember a World Series winner that didn’t have an ace pitcher or two! U can always win a title without big hitters but can’t without big pitching, Florida Marlins spring to mind they won it with Small ball!

(I would never call them this) only follow boxscores watch highlights,and do a lot of blogging. The 'REAL' fanatics frustrations with the lack of playoff success since '67 vent and these newage so called fans are right there in droves to jump all over their hate for them and the team they happen to be right there waiting for the moment. That is the biggest reason why if you ask me.
Hayes, ya…the Leafs have been in the playoffs for the last 8 years…and they haven’t done JACK SHIT in those 8 years. They have messed up so bad with the “Bore Four” 🤢, they let good players go, they can’t find a goalie! Take the blue goggles off for once!

People hate the Leafs' front office because the Leafs' front office STINKS. ONE round - ONE - since 2004. All that talent and they've done squat. They've handed the keys to a few kids who now seemingly expect to get whatever they want. Dumb.

@@patrickgoulet8170 tough to say. Tavares certainly looks and sounds flat - so it's easy to question his leadership (especially given Toronto's history). Having said that, everything I've heard about him suggests that he's consistent and committed. His actions allegedly speak. So it makes me wonder - is it him? Is it true that a real leader can get through to any group? Or is it the supporting cast? They've brought in a TON of veteran leadership over the years and none of it has worked. Idk.
I like JT and would love to retain him @ a significant reduction. 5M MAX. I'd also go w/o a captain for a while. But - I don't work in hockey so I can say whatever I want 😂
