Paige, sorry you're going through a tough time right now. There's nothing comforting I can say because I don't truly know you, but we are all hoping that things get easier for you soon!
It's good to cry Paige! You don't have to apologize. I really appreciate you being real. We all go through this stuff. And the more we know that others do the less we feel weird about it. So thanks for being a good role model and keep moving forward!💖
About a million years ago I went through a very tough time...I got so tired of crying that I decided to schedule my cries...so on Tuesday at 2pm I cried for 30 minutes, then I was done. You have created a great community here, we all have your back. Proud to be a Paige OG.
I've done the same. it can really help if there is something that you absolutely must do before just letting loose the flood gates. Work being a good example.
Dear Paige: On Sunday evenings my favorite thing to do is sit down with your videos and relax. I really enjoy listening to your opinion on anything. Thank you SO much for continuing to put out content for us, it is a pretty big deal for me to get these 20 minutes of forgetting about everything else. My friends enjoy your videos even if they're not into design, decor stuff just because of your non-BS personality, thought you should know. Sending you good vibes, you will cry until you don't cry anymore. It will get better.
As someone who watches RUclips almost all day as my work-background-noise, I just want you to know I rarely see someone be as honest as you. Taking a cry break was probably the first time I've seen a truly honest moment on this idiot box. Feeling for ya. Cry it out. It's actually the best therapy and it's free.
Sorry for everything you’re going through, Paige. I’m a few years older than you, but I can totally relate. I quickly fell in love with someone a few months ago and when he ended it, I sobbed everyday for 2 weeks straight. We are in a very weird time right now, and a lot of us are struggling. Hang in there, and if you ever want to meet up, I’m in Hollywood (but formerly Chicago and Cleveland originally). Sending you much love!
A phenomenal item from IKEA that I think is incredible quality is the Rimforsa Work Bench (kitchen island). It’s stainless on the bottom, bamboo counter. It holds up super well and looks way more luxurious than it is. Highly recommend.
Maybe you can review larger stores like Target by looking at the collections they have- just an idea! Also don’t feel obligated to post when you are going through big life changes. We will watch whenever you post
this was definitely one of my favorite videos from you!! your content and video ideas are so fresh and I could’ve watched an hour long video of you going through these. also, i know the comments saying “don’t cry” mean well, but cry !! i feel like a lot of us are in a period like that and it’s okay to cry and struggle. we’ll come out better and stronger on the other side
That cry break though. I admire that you went and took the time for yourself, and then came back and went on with things and didn't hide it. That's strength to me.
I think it's great that you're honest with your feelings! It's great to let it out, and feelings always pass! Remember that! Hope things get better soon. Great video too, as always. ❤️
i felt that cry break in my soul. been dealing w some family issues since christmas and it's just been a tear fest ever since. sending you peace of mind
i agree with world market kitchen! it is truly the best (interesting and good deals) section in the whole store. the rest is just kitsch... which is also fun tbh. loved this, and totally feel you on a cry break; they're v cathartic.
Watched this to take a cry break, so v relatable. You brought the transparency, the grade A content, and a little levity to the internet today, thank you!
Thanks for the video, great as always! I like buying RUGS at IKEA: they're very similar looking to those found at Pottery Barn/C&B, seem just as high quality, but are sold at a much lower price. Liker higher end rugs, they're made from materials like wool, jute, poly, and cotton (I really like the wool/jute blend options). In addition to being way less expensive, Ikea rugs tend to be made using more sustainable materials and/or methods. To be clear, these are not unique, quirky rugs! But if you want a simple, somewhat unobtrusive rug whose texture adds a little style to your room, check out Ikea. The jute rugs especially are basically dupes of those from PB. If you've had a similar experience w/Ikea rugs--or a very different one--please let me know!
Paige! Times are so tumultuous right now, I hope you can take some time for yourself and that whatever is on your mind sorts itself out soon. Love from Ontario!
West Elm is my go to for bedding. It’s normally kind of expensive, but I always look for the clearance things or try to shop their outlets. The Belgian Flax linen is just the best!
I’m from Aus and didn’t realise CB2 Home was a chain store in the US. They really do some really elevated stuff that doesn’t feel as pedestrian as other chains. This is because the closest chain we have to this in Aus is West Elm and I agree - it is falling behind! This video was so enjoyable even though shipping is exxy or impossible to Aus! Also big virtual hugs. B x
I love that you encourage us into buying thrifted/small companies but still also show that it is normal to buy from mass-produced companies when you need to
Paige - I have been watching you for a while. I am commenting because my heart is aching for yours. I am much older than you and have had to "re-invent" myself many times. I see in you what it takes to navigate change. I do not know specifics, but you have a cheer-leader here. If you need an extra auntie, consider me one. Blessings.
Paige! I just want to hug you. Hope you are safe, cry it out. Thank you for taking the time to record this videos, I love you content. Wishing you a lot of good loving energy from Costa Rica, heart to heart, soul to soul 🤍✨
Hi Paige, recently found your videos and have been binge watching this past month. I hope whatever you are going through right now is just a season. Thank you for posting this video genuinely loved it and for you to keep that cut of you going to cry was just a real moment. If you need a break or just don't feel like posting videos I hope you can take the space and time you need. Wishing you the best!
Id like to see a video on how you mix prints. What are the dos and dont's. You talk about it all the time and i always like your examples but dont know where to start. It could go wrong fast.
Honestly, I've been working on Pinterest boards forever to do a full apartment overhaul and you've convinced me to go for more silver-toned rather than brass because I was going so hard in the brass, but I have been liking including gunmetal and black-toned metals together with the chrome/steel.
sending you love and support paige! i hope reading these loving comments brighten up your day (even a little), in the same way your videos brighten up mine! you are capable of navigating whatever it is you’re going through 🤍
That West Elm couch and pillows feels like outdoor pool furniture to me. Paige, brighter days are coming, I promise. Good on you for getting up and being productive through the pain.
You are my fav RUclips channel - I just adore your style, approach and realness. We always go thru the hard times to know when the good times are truly good. ❤️
I really enjoy the content you create! It's not just fun and informative, you also manage to infuse life into these inanimate objects you pick out. And you always keep it very real and honest. So thank you and please don't stop! If you're going through a rough time, I hope you have enough love and support around you to push through. We are all facing a version of this malaise or anxiety...none of us are alone really. To you and to anyone else who is being brave every single day, thank you and please don't stop.
Congrats on 100k! I hope your tears have eased up. I’ve had months like that when my bf broke up with me years ago and my heart felt like it was splitting. Somehow it gets healed, as I’m sure you already know by now! ❤
Paige, you've really inspired me to mix patterns. We got a hand-me-down couch from my husband's uncle for our living room and i was worried about it clashing with out curtains and pillows. We're on a budget and can't just replace all of those things, but I've decided to just embrace the patterned chaos and go with it. I'm digging it!
i LOVE zara home, especially their bedding and glassware! i used to live in spain and i couldn't allow myself to go in the store too often because it made me sad i couldn't buy everything (i was only there for a little over a year, so it wouldn't have made sense to get a ton of house stuff for a temporary living situation)
Paige I love your content this was great. Chrome is classic can’t go wrong! And - If I can share with you this: rejection is God’s protection; tears let us know we are capable of deep feeling, -and change makes room for our next adventure. Sending +++vibes from a transplanted Michigander!
Sorry you are having a rough time Paige, hugs from San Diego! I just love deals at Target, just got a blue vintage 60s toaster to go with my mod kitchen. For my first apartment living in California, I bought all my pots and pans from World Market, they had copper bottoms, still have them and people compliment them all the time. They are now over 20+ years old 😳 My whole house is thrifted or antiques from estate sales, the variety is what I like best.
I have the world market outdoor sofa from that collection (first chair you looked at) and its actually pretty good quality, solid wood. Way better than ikea . I am super happy with it.
World Market is GREAT for stocking stuffers that are unique. That’s where I get all the stuff around the holidays for kids stockings. Even grown up’s. I don’t usually buy the other stuffs.
Hello Paige! I have the West elm sofa you pointed out. Modern , wooden base one. It’s nice. I had a really hard time with finding a sofa that was something I would want to keep. Also, cb2 glass ware and lighting are my favorite but also mirrors from them… Rugs are my nightmare, can’t seem to commit. Thanks for videos! I share and appreciate your thoughts.
I am so glad I found your channel- I just really enjoy you! Found you through the Troy Sivan review- wow my favourite house- and I have learnt so much through your eye and experience. Your kindness shines through even though much of what you do is critique… I never feel like you make it personal- but helpful. Take care- feeling for you … keep crying when you need… huge growth with come. 💚
I am doing my wedding registary and thought a video like this from you would be perfect. and I come on here to see you made a video on exactly that! thank you lol love your videos!
Girl, don't we all have to take that break at the moment. I hope you start having days soon where you are crying less and less. It is hard but it will be ok in the end
As much as I hate to admit it sometimes, I really do love IKEA for certain things too. I also got their besta floating shelves just after Christmas and am loving them so much. Thinking of doing something similar else where but buying wood and making custom door fronts. I also love how easy they make it to customize organization units. Their online planners I find very easy to use as well.
Big hug (cuz that’s what I do). Love your content, your sound, voice, video, matter-of-fact approach. Hoping this sounding board gives you back as much as we receive, thanks.
It's chrome. We just changed over the fixtures in our bathroom. I was wondering why I have been gravitating to it lately. You always confirm my taste level and I appreciate you😘
Hi Paige, thank you for the good advice (I need a full-length mirror). I am sending you love and light and absolutely know that you will get through whatever you are going through now. You are so talented, you are young, and you have a lot of wonderful life ahead of you.
Loved this overview, Paige. I’m a designer and do shop at some of these stores, especially for younger clients. But I was disappointed you didn’t include Anthropologie. They have unique home finds, some fabulous wallpaper and fun kitchen items with real personality. A British designer they have worked with on occasion whose work I adore, Kit Kemp, has a fabulous, whimsical style that I think you’d love. When we go to NYC we always try to stay in one of her two hotels because every single detail is spot on! If you haven’t explored her stuff or Anthros (I’m sure you have) please treat yourself!
IKEA is great for storage solutions that are reasonably priced compared to places like the Container Store. It's helped in giving me more space in my closet without having to fork out a lot of money. I also like their plates, dishes, and glasses. Also, decent picture frames.
First, sorry that you are hurting... I haven't seen your co-host in the last couple of videos so.... 😢 Vintage picking takes time and a lot of money for the good stuff. I have used a mix of vintage and mass produced furniture and home decor to furnish my new apartment, and I love it! Thanks for your take on Zara and Ikea. The Hovet mirror is amazing. Best Ikea purchase.
Needed this ! The antique stores in my area just aren't cutting it so I have to make do with mass produced homeware. Love your videos! They've really helped me be more selective in what I buy so I have pieces that last.
Love this concept for a video. I'm moving to Australia from Canada in the coming months and I was Googling which stores they have there and taking mental notes. Thank you for being real and having such a good eye.
Hey Paige, sorry to hear things are hard rn! I love your content so much. Would love to see you do a Q&A / interior-design-adjacent advice sort of video - IDK if hearing other peoples problems and trying to help w them would be cathartic or stressful, just thought I'd throw it out there!
Love ur content and loved this vid!! I feel like I always get overwhelmed when shopping for my apartment. It's so hard to find something unique and reasonably priced, without having to scrounge every thrift store in a 100 mile radius. This was such a perfect cheat sheet 🌻
I found your channel a few weeks ago and had watched ALL of your videos in the span of a week or two, and ever since then I've been looking forward to Sundays for your videos to come out. I'm not entirely sure what it is you're going through, but I just went through (and am still processing) a pretty devastating breakup, and a couple other youtubers I adore all seem to be going through a big season of change... the candidness in your videos... i don't know, it makes me feel less alone. also, I ended up buying that Crate and Barrel plaid pillow. nothing like retail therapy to help a girl when she's down lol
Great stuff, kiddo. I bought some gorgeous dishware from World Market. Big mistake. Chips galore. I have since bought a set of Royal Doulton bone china off of Ebay and it is wonderful as my everyday stuff. On another note..... If you gotta cry.....cry that shit OUT! I love that you told us.
I adore all of your videos! The vibe and style that you have is *chef's kiss*. I hope you can do more videos on up-in-coming designers/artists! The cry break is such a mood - I definitely was there a few months ago. Wishing you the best going through tough times :-( Hope that you're getting all of the support you need!
100% agree on CB2, they have some great stuff, but only really affordable when on sale. Also, I’d swap out Urban Outfitters for Anthropologie that has so many great home goods!
😂 love a blue velvet couch and the landscape pillows, and abhor the chrome lamp. We both love the plaid pillows, though! We probably don’t have the same style at all, but did appreciate your personality and video!
Paige, I'm in LA and have been dying to go to the flower market. If you ever want to hang out and do something easy, let me know. Sending you wishes for happiness - hang in there.
I totally feel the same about west elm - I feel like 10-15 years ago they were ahead of the game but now...not so much. I would still consider getting furniture/staples from there but I wouldn't seek them out for something interesting.
Many high end designers have go-to items from big box stores that simply "do it well!" We all love your opinion filled videos even if we don't always agree. You are really maturing your signature style, but growth and change can be painful. I'm rooting for you to come out roaring on the other side.
Paige, sorry you're going through a tough time right now. There's nothing comforting I can say because I don't truly know you, but we are all hoping that things get easier for you soon!
you’re so nice! thank you!!

scheduled cries, I love it!
I've done the same. it can really help if there is something that you absolutely must do before just letting loose the flood gates. Work being a good example.
You're one of the few people putting out quality content in the interior design scene right now. Thanks for all you do!
Agreed.
Yes, there's always a balance. I try "thrifting" for sustainability but there's a limit, both in hygiene and in energy spent. Excited to watch.
Time cost is definitely a big factor in thrifting!
I love thrifting but some things you cannot just find thrifted, especially when it is too specific.
Paige, the wheel always turns, everything is cyclical and damn girl, you’re just too awesome to be down for long. Love your content, you rock! X
That cry break was v relatable. Things suck until they don't, so sending you good vibes, P. Thanks for all the fresh, non-performative design content!
I liked it too!
Hang in there Paige. Take it from an old lady--this too shall pass. Love all your content and your sassy take. Keep pushing thru!
We lost everything in Hurricane Ida. Starting over and watching yout videos for advice! Thank you for this. ❤
🤍

Also don’t feel obligated to post when you are going through big life changes. We will watch whenever you post
love this idea!
I’d love to see one on Anthropology
Watching the video she has done from your idea !
this was definitely one of my favorite videos from you!! your content and video ideas are so fresh and I could’ve watched an hour long video of you going through these. also, i know the comments saying “don’t cry” mean well, but cry !! i feel like a lot of us are in a period like that and it’s okay to cry and struggle. we’ll come out better and stronger on the other side

I live in a town in West Australia where just about nothing can be delivered here but loved watching this anyway😂❤️
love this! would you consider making a video with tips for buying secondhand. from fb marketplace, offerup, etc.?
I think it's great that you're honest with your feelings! It's great to let it out, and feelings always pass! Remember that! Hope things get better soon. Great video too, as always. ❤️
i felt that cry break in my soul. been dealing w some family issues since christmas and it's just been a tear fest ever since. sending you peace of mind
sending peace right back to ya!
i agree with world market kitchen! it is truly the best (interesting and good deals) section in the whole store. the rest is just kitsch... which is also fun tbh. loved this, and totally feel you on a cry break; they're v cathartic.
Watched this to take a cry break, so v relatable. You brought the transparency, the grade A content, and a little levity to the internet today, thank you!
Hang in there Wasselpa, I love your content to the moon and back, and I can see that you are going places! X N

I love how you are so real; hope you felt better after the cry. Also, I find your posts entertaining and helpful and practical.
I can feel a fever creeping up and my throat getting soar, this video just landed as a blessing in my life. Bless
Feel better Matilda! God bless!
So glad your channel found me. I love your strong point of view. You’re the kind of woman I love hanging out with whether virtual or IRL.
I only started watching your videos about 2 weeks ago, and I've watched them ALL! Definitely the best interior design advice on youtube. Thank you!

The break to cry and dogs pissing on rugs comments are so real. Loving the honesty. I hope you have a great week!

"Just had to take a quick break to cry because I've been crying a lot lately" such a real statement I've been like that all day
Sending you a virtual hug 🤗 Hate that you’re sad. I know you’ll come through this even stronger.🙌🏽

Perfectly fine to cry. Sending you a hug and good vibes Paige. Hope whatever is making you cry will fade away in the future. Hang in there.
It's chrome. We just changed over the fixtures in our bathroom. I was wondering why I have been gravitating to it lately. You always confirm my taste level and I appreciate you😘
Same! Just earlier today I consider chrome for my kitchen hardware lol
The break that you had to take to cry was too relatable rn ;_; Loved this video though, I actually like just "shopping" with you online!
Hi Paige, thank you for the good advice (I need a full-length mirror). I am sending you love and light and absolutely know that you will get through whatever you are going through now. You are so talented, you are young, and you have a lot of wonderful life ahead of you.

Vintage picking takes time and a lot of money for the good stuff. I have used a mix of vintage and mass produced furniture and home decor to furnish my new apartment, and I love it! Thanks for your take on Zara and Ikea. The Hovet mirror is amazing. Best Ikea purchase.
You are loved! I get so excited to see your videos. Thanks for being "Real"
Needed this ! The antique stores in my area just aren't cutting it so I have to make do with mass produced homeware. Love your videos! They've really helped me be more selective in what I buy so I have pieces that last.
I love the snake cb2 lamp lol. I saw it at a friend's house and it looked so unique. But i like borderline gaudy
Love this concept for a video. I'm moving to Australia from Canada in the coming months and I was Googling which stores they have there and taking mental notes. Thank you for being real and having such a good eye.
You're such a natural beauty. Nothing to do with the video but I'm always amazed by your unconventional yet incredible beauty !
Me too! Her face is interesting in a good way lol
And she looks awesome with minimal to no make up. Wish I did!
Aw Paige. Love you!
Ps I screen shot a lot of this so I can remember where to go when I want to buy things. You have the best advice!!
:)
would love to see another video!!! maybe you could also look at pottery barn, restoration hardware, etc!!!
This internet stranger is sending you lots of Love!
Chin up girl. You have got this.Trust in your ability to get back on your feet and be triumphant 💕
Be gentle with yourself Paige, hope you feel better soon! Thank you for the video it was so much fun and actually helpful ✨💖
Love ur content and loved this vid!! I feel like I always get overwhelmed when shopping for my apartment. It's so hard to find something unique and reasonably priced, without having to scrounge every thrift store in a 100 mile radius. This was such a perfect cheat sheet 🌻
you are my biggest inspiration. thank you for your videos
Great video, Paige! I've been struggling with some decor and furnishing choices, and this video got me excited all over again. Thank you ❤
I found your channel a few weeks ago and had watched ALL of your videos in the span of a week or two, and ever since then I've been looking forward to Sundays for your videos to come out.
The Zara home printed bedding really reminded me of William Morris and Charles Rennie Mackintosh
Hope you’re Paige! Love your channel, but never feel pressure to create when you need time for yourself. Love this one btw!
Paige, I'm in LA and have been dying to go to the flower market. If you ever want to hang out and do something easy, let me know. Sending you wishes for happiness - hang in there.
I so recommend buying the CB2 infinity floor mirror (32x76) !! It’s the most prized possession home piece in my space!
I'm rooting for you to come out roaring on the other side.
crying break: respect ! from my tiny rental to urs, thanks for all u do
