I remember when this game come out back then there was a lot of complains about the combat, i guess most players just got used to Black Flag's combat when you can ve surrounded by 30 enemies and don't take a single damage cuase all it takes was spam counter attacks and use enemies as human shields for gun shots. I guess not everyone has the patience that this game requires for it's stealth
@RobertEdwinHouse9well ig the whole point of that is it encourages you to not put yourself into those situations. The whole point is to be a sneaky assassin. It's possible to win against that many people but it's difficult, would've been better to just... Be an assassin
Dude im sorry but brotherhood revelations 3 and black flag had the best freakin combat ever after that it just went downhill sorry 🤷♂️💯 I prefere that counter spam it was so smooth and fluid 💯
The main problem is the stealth has very many problems with instant detection and such, which makes both frustrating. Of course, you can be stealthy, but you really have to fight against the game to do it
No, the combat was terrible. It's a great idea, but the game couldn't handle it. There were too many cases where the block and dodge buttons just didn't work. Weapon upgrades were too expensive and also just an excuse for micro transactions. Stealth didn't even work 50% of the time since parkour was buggy and the tools like the cherry bomb or smoke bombs didn't always work. It also didn't help that the phantom blade damage was linked to your weapon damage meaning you still had to invest into combat items that you'd never use in stealth.
Unity is definitely my favourite ac game in terms of stealth, and the graphics as still good even after so many years. I can tell how many hours you must have put in to perfecting these and how skill full you needed to by for some of those stunts or timings
you: methodically planning out your route, a ghost unseen. me: killing everyone i see because if there's no one alive there's no one who can say they saw me (: joking aside well done! i got lucky on the September Massacres, i killed a guy right by some stairs, walked back down cause i was planning on killing the guard who would walk back but the main guy i was supposed to kill ( i can't remember his name lol ) decided to check it out and conveniently kept his back to the stairs, making it super easy to kill him lol.
Wow, you did it just amazing!!. The amount of times I had to do these missions over and over again because they killed me every time, is scary. It took me a while to understand that this game requires patience and planning
This is why I enjoy Origins and Odyssey more, even if they're barely AC games. You can get consistent results in those games and have freedom in tackling things on your way. Unity can be fun but very inconsistent.
I love ghosting. Unity is one of the games it would make lore sense Arno wouldn't worry as much about not killing guards. He is anti-revolutionary (he has a voice line at one point, talking about how dumb he feels the protetors are, and he is a rich kid), but he's also a little more careless.
Sometimes when I’m impatient I’ll just do everything up to 1:06 and then as soon as I have a visual I’ll smoke em, run in, assassinate, and run out while the smoke is still clearing. Often takes more than one smoke bomb.
I'm mostly jealous how smooth you climb around corner ledges heh. Started replaying this one today, and man the climbing feels inconsistent. It's great when it works properly, but sometimes Arno just decides not to go around corners hah.
In the first mission theres a booth near the middle you can wait in instead of a haystack, and the target walks alone right in front of it for an easy kill
Hi. Yeah, I know about that booth. I actually used it in a different vid where I kill everyone in the mission. I didn't use it here since I had to wait for the target to finish his speech and walk around until he gets to the booth, which would take multiple minutes.
I wish that in the future, AC games incentivize Ghost runs. They take a lot of skill to pull off, and I love getting rewarded for skill in a video game.
I never used the disguise power because it was too unrealistic. This can be done without it. Despite what people say about the game, Unity was the last REAL Assassin's Creed game. It had its flaws but really wasn't that bad. By the way what's up with the upbeat elevator piano music?
I never used smoke in such situations, because in AC4 is was an insta-spot, always. I thought they're only good for getting away and if a fight becomes critical
This is the fucking opposite of how I play, with literally everyone dead once I am done I even go out my way to kill more of the royalists However when it comes to the blue guys, this is how I play
@@vizard7548 Im quite sure they shutdown circa 2021. Now with the newfound popularity of Unity perhaps they opened them back again or PC players found a way to mod it. Im not one of em so I cant help you
they are all amazing work man! but the prophet was simply perfect, better than the game trailers. keep it up
Saying it's better than the trailers is a stretch, but it was definitely clean
I love the presentation of these videos so much the subtitles are so cozy

@RobertEdwinHouse9 ahahahahaha funny seeing you here. Unity combat is very shit and underdeveloped, absolutely zero flow.

The fact that you can do this stealth means u are a top level.

This is how assassins should operate, not just killing everyone on the way,
Damn, ur stlye of vid is cool dude, i really liked it.
I don’t usually comment but no one else makes videos like you so great job!
Wow. Thanks so much!
Wow, you did it just amazing!!. The amount of times I had to do these missions over and over again because they killed me every time, is scary. It took me a while to understand that this game requires patience and planning
this was awesome! keep it up :D (side note: i really liked the music)
This one was so difficult I just went in there killed the target and then ran out. But u made it look so easy lol
pls do more of these man, insanely entertaining
Man. I really like the smooth jazz BGM. I'mm do that when I play
Thanks. I'm planning on doing a no-death ghost run of the franchise in the nearish future on stream, so guides like this are helpful.
cool stuff man. ghost runs are great. you can actually avoid rouille if you use a cherry bomb to lure him out of the wood deck!
This would have to be the hardest one in the whole series
Bro is the legend pieces of art joined together
i Finished this game yesterday.
The stealth is near impossible.
Sometimes buggy too.
I can see you spent a lot of time planning . awesome!
Hours and hours of replaying the missions led me to this. Hahaha
Oh boy, If you think stealth is near impossible in this one wait until you play Valhalla…
Atleast the stealth in this game is way more fun than valhalla's stealth
This is why I enjoy Origins and Odyssey more, even if they're barely AC games. You can get consistent results in those games and have freedom in tackling things on your way. Unity can be fun but very inconsistent.
@@preternatural9417 You get very consistent results if you put the effort and learn the mechanics. It's far more consistent than Unity.
W work you got me back into unity after I lost interest, I'll just replay it in French dub and pretend Arno is Thomas de carneillon
I love ghosting. Unity is one of the games it would make lore sense Arno wouldn't worry as much about not killing guards. He is anti-revolutionary (he has a voice line at one point, talking about how dumb he feels the protetors are, and he is a rich kid), but he's also a little more careless.
I love the ghost runs! You inspired me to do also some, thanks!
Yoo that social stealth in the prophet run was smooth. Kinda surprised the crowd didn't scattered away after the kill
Sometimes when I’m impatient I’ll just do everything up to 1:06 and then as soon as I have a visual I’ll smoke em, run in, assassinate, and run out while the smoke is still clearing. Often takes more than one smoke bomb.
Bro casually became a Templar Grandmaster
Amazing game and amazing stealth. love this game
I glad I found this this is good and the bomb guy it he'll funny never would hVe though of that
Well done!
hoarders was so frustrating because i had to repeat it like 10 times because of how op her detecting skills were
Thomas de Carneillon would be proud

@@TheMaudeth that makes sense because you have to be in the middle which would be hard to do ghost style.
I wish that in the future, AC games incentivize Ghost runs. They take a lot of skill to pull off, and I love getting rewarded for skill in a video game.
damn i gotta try this next time i play
Stayed for the music
Impressive

The music is there for an added "chill" feeling lol
@@TheMaudeth Every minute in I was wondering whether I reached my floor yet
@@BrotherAzrael lol. I just felt that the vid may be bland if it's too silent. Especially since there are moments where Arno is doing nothing.
If unity Had a better story/more interesting character i would like it more

more pls, u got a new sub brother
Thanks! I've got a lot of upcoming vids in the next few weeks.
Lafreniere looks alot like rodrigo borgia in ac 2
can do one without the oitfit change.
Lol very entertaining

I ❤️ u
Just asking, how did you color the Altair Outfit?
Hi! I'm wearing the Thomas de Carneillon's Master Assassin outfit. You get it after finding all Nostradamus Enigmas.
thank you@@TheMaudeth
What missions should I try 2 ghost sleath fisrt I just beat dead kings
Hi. Maybe do the earlier missions since they should be a bit forgiving in terms of enemy placement.
Btw how do you skip the memory cutscenes can u?
You can't. I just cut it out during edit and try to make the transition seamless. However, not sure if there are mods for this.
What’s your equipment???
All legendary Sans-Culottes gear except for the belt. I use the Brigand Belt since I have no use for the addtnl lockpicks of the Sans-Culottes belt.
ghost stealth is more fun than "click and kill"
Agree. I wish games provide more tools suited to this kind of playstyle.
Can me and you play co-op together
I thought they shut down the servers?

Should've left the classical music out, just game sound, the music is too distracting and sorta ruins it
