I’ve heard before that Assassin’s Creed doesn’t really support ghost stealth, which is true. But the reason it doesn’t is actually historically accuracy. Assassins in the Naziri Ismaili State would stab or shoot their targets for everyone to see and then usually be killed immediately. Bellec references this in Unity. Also, the daring Assassins would usually be called “hashish eaters” because the people believed they must be high in order to do such things, and that’s where the word assassin comes from.
@@solitaryenjoyer411 I did a little research, “hashīshīn” is the romanized spelling of the Arabic word for “hashish-eater”. I believe that’s just a neat coincidence that the name Hassan sounds like it. Also, I’m pretty sure Hassan I Sabah is represented by Al Mualim (“the mentor” in Arabic) in AC1.
To assassinate main targets without being detected, you need to either: 1. Be blending inside an adjacent group of monks. Some assistant groups won't spawn until you complete their corresponding save citizen mission 2. Kill every nearby guard first Or 3: Wait until they're alone or with no nearby guards inside their potential line of sight, the area in which they could turn around if they were to hear you, which they will Read your intels very carefully, there are only three main targets that force combat before you have a chance to assassinate them
Thanks! However: 1. It's hard to to kill every nearby guards when I'm doing a ghost run (I can only kill the main targets and other required kills for main story (so no saving citizens by killing the guards lol) 2. Not 100% sure, but from my exp, even if I'm out of enemy LOS, I will get the exposed/detected status. I think it's part of like the Levantine approach in AC1. Plus, the city bell rings after every major assassinations so the whole city probably knows lol.
I just hopped in to the game to check lol. Saw it. It's a large fort with like 4 archer towers. Getting in that place undetected will be very difficult. Might need to use some bugs or something lol.
I love your videos! Also I think the videos with a voice over are pretty good! I love this challenge idea! I was never good at stealth in AC 1. I think I‘ll use some of your tricks for my next AC 1 playtrough!
Recently picked up your content. Glad to see this challenge! You have inspired me, and now I am trying my hand at cleaner stealth at unity. Imagine how unprofessional an assassin has to be to leave a trail of death everywhere they go! You are a master assassin.
03:05 I didn't ghost through the game per se, but I had my own little fantasy that the following count as knock-outs instead of kills: * punching * throwing against a wall * throwing against the ground * throwing against collapsible objects i would even prefer knocking out targets over remaining undetected,
Bro, tell the truth..! It was super hard right..? to ghost in AC 1, since the game's trailer to gameplay was designed to do an Public Execution style, you must be a ghost till execution, and then show yourself to the target just for a second before execution..! The lore reason is because that from the AC ORIGINS, bayek's hidden ones followed this public execution, style. It was Altair who kinda created the ghosting way of killing.. ruclips.net/video/VtHd0By42XM/видео.html&lc=UgzKd9F4ZN0p2hDb2PN4AaABAg.A33d9auWiveA33fmWhfKhw Watch this, we'll get an Idea.. -Peace be upon you, bro..

Even without all the gadgets, this game remains incredibly awesome, this game aged well.

Nah it still looks really good graphically. To me it looks like he modded out a PC version.
This could maybe be canon, since altairs health is a sync bar unlike the others where its actual health, also, great challange idea

Its so impressing that you out so much afford in this videos! This is a reason why I love watching these videos!
Im so glad AC1 is getting love.
navigating through the kingdom undetected is a cool experience.
At first, I thought it was impossible to avoid getting detected/exposed in the kingdom. Good thing there were alternate routes and fast travel lol.
@@TheMaudeth you know that fort near acre? one day, one day i will be able to sneak there undetected.
Which one? Do you mean the one at 4:52? Unless there's an archer tower, you probably can blend through.
@@TheMaudeth no! its a fort close to acre's entrance. it has two guards on the door and two archers.
