Sometimes you have to change the phrasing slightly to get the best out of your voice, and in this case it sounds a lot like a scouser. It might be something he picked up from listening to the Beatles also

They've got a legacy to hold onto and they are still keeping music alive even when they aren't together. Music is dying, but Oasis will keep the ember burning. When you've got an Oasis tattoo and a portrait of Paul Weller on either arm at the age of 19, that's how much they've touched people's hearts, especially mine.
This voice is unmatched. It was a pure and angelic rock voice. It is understood that there are many better singers these days. But all those years ago, he was amongst the best rock singers ever.
