Same. I spent Hundred$ collecting all the international single releases to get those golden b-sides they like to tuck away. This was way before they started releasing collections.
no one can ever knock noel, this version just shows why he is a brilliant song writer and musician, acoustic or electric this song will " live forever ! "
FANTASTIC b-side! this could've made be here now or standing on the shoulders of giants and still have been my favorite song on both of those albums! its still one of my favorite oasis songs today!
Sitting on my own, chewing on a bone A thousand million miles from home When something hit me Somewhere right between the eyes Sleeping on a plane, you know you can't complain You took your last chance once again I landed, stranded Hardly even knew your name I wanna talk tonight Until the morning light 'Bout how you saved my life You and me see how we are You and me see how we are All your dreams are made of strawberry lemonade And you make sure I eat today You take me walking To where you played when you were young I'll never say that I won't ever make you cry And this I'll say, I don't know why I know I'm leaving But I'll be back another day I wanna talk tonight Until the morning light 'Bout how you saved my life (You saved my life) I wanna talk tonight (I wanna talk tonight) 'Bout how you saved my life (I wanna talk tonight) 'Bout how you saved my life (I wanna talk tonight) 'Bout how you saved my life (I wanna talk tonight) 'Bout how you saved my life (I wanna talk tonight) (I wanna talk tonight) (I wanna talk tonight) (I wanna talk tonight)
This was played at Maida Vale Studios in 2000, for BBC radio 1, they've recorded this one, My Generation which appears as bside of Little By Little, Rock And Roll Star, Go Let It Out and Who Feels Love i think...
Esta cancion, me agarra el corazon y me lo derrite. La misma guitarra de noel, me llega hasta el fondo de mis sentimientos. Esto se la dedique a mi ex novia, y quiza como homenaje a todo lo vivido, escribo esto. Simplemente espectacular.
im just impressed they try different things. that's just awesome, it may not work or sound the way they want it, but they try new shit and that's a testament to how good they are/were.
Wait wait wait, I'm a big oasis fan, I've always loved this song but I didn't know they have made electric versions! When did it come out? Anyway this made my day! Thanks!
@zutafogao It was recorded in January 2000 at the BBC Maida Vale studios, so the line-up would be Noel, Gem, Andy and Alan. I guess Mike Rowe or Strangeboy Stacey plays the electric piano.
What I just thought this version must be from around 2000-02 It obviously has Gem Archer on lead guitar and Noel mostly just plays the arpeggio and strumming parts And it's definitely Whitey doing the drumming. Very similar to Little By Little from that era 2 so my guess is 2002

This was from Radio 1 Evening session in 2000
Talk Tonight, with the right production, could have been another Wonderwall.
It's better than Wonderwall.
@@bungle3912 I was saying it could have been a big hit.
Agreed
The production was fine
@@jacobboswell810 ,It was But the One with Weller on The White Room Sessions is The Best one For Me!
no one can ever knock noel, this version just shows why he is a brilliant song writer and musician, acoustic or electric this song will " live forever ! "
I believe that Noel played this on a radio station in France. That's why it sounds so professionally done.
Maida Vale 2000
BBC Maida Vale Studios, 2000, London.
This version just seems to hit me harder in the soul. So much more powerful
fucking A man!
Yeah, I’m the same man. Not sure what that is?
It sounds like something off of Standing On the Shoulder of Giants, more melancholic than the studio version or any other live version I've ever heard
@@sterlingshadowx It was recorded around that same time period too. Probably why
This guy is just unreal! Great version of this classic. Never get bored of listening to Noel.
This is from a radio 1 broadcast which they also covers my generation.
the bass riff just blows my mind
Simply Amazing
The Bass Just Makes It so Awsome
Mad Fer' It
Come Back Noel
Never knew there was an electric version! Love it!
FANTASTIC b-side! this could've made be here now or standing on the shoulders of giants and still have been my favorite song on both of those albums! its still one of my favorite oasis songs today!
Sitting on my own, chewing on a bone
A thousand million miles from home
When something hit me
Somewhere right between the eyes
Sleeping on a plane, you know you can't complain
You took your last chance once again
I landed, stranded
Hardly even knew your name
I wanna talk tonight
Until the morning light
'Bout how you saved my life
You and me see how we are
You and me see how we are
All your dreams are made of strawberry lemonade
And you make sure I eat today
You take me walking
To where you played when you were young
I'll never say that I won't ever make you cry
And this I'll say, I don't know why
I know I'm leaving
But I'll be back another day
I wanna talk tonight
Until the morning light
'Bout how you saved my life
(You saved my life)
I wanna talk tonight
(I wanna talk tonight)
'Bout how you saved my life
(I wanna talk tonight)
'Bout how you saved my life
(I wanna talk tonight)
'Bout how you saved my life
(I wanna talk tonight)
'Bout how you saved my life
(I wanna talk tonight)
(I wanna talk tonight)
(I wanna talk tonight)
(I wanna talk tonight)
It's like listening to completely different song. I love this version !
Noel never ceases to amaze me :)
Needs to be on itunes
I prefer this version, since guitar strums and reverb are really tasty at times.
Can’t believe I’ve never heard this version! Almost has a Little By Little vibe.
I love this version!
i love this version
its so rock n roll
This made me cry so much
Noel should add this to his 2022 set list it would sound amazing live
This just blew my car speakers 😂😂😂👀🥃🔥
How the hell did I not hear this before, probably is my favourite version now, totally in love with this.
"You took your last chance/Once again"
really great version
This is a very Neil Young's Influenced Song!
Cortez the killer ? Distorcion ?? Heart of gold ?
Holy Shit! I was just thinking this. This is the first time I've heard this version. Awesome! So cool somebody else has the same reaction.
Didnt even know this exsisted. Great playlist lad, nice 1
this is absolutely beautiful

Such a great use of feedback in this version
when that G chord hits
Adrian Cecchin it's all about the augmented 6th sus 4 during the silence
Only guitar players know what ya mean
GoatMan Noel loves that chord, if it ain't broke...
@@dstolar79 there is no augmented chord in the song, the only chord that dissonant in the song is a C7.
@@randomuser964 then you hate most songs 😅
That bassline. 💯💯💯
always loved this song, since I'd heard it in the acoustic mtv. good times.

@TheMillionaire03 The year is 2000. BBC Evening Session, same session as My Generation on the Little By Little/She Is Love single were recorded.
This song is awesome
Ace version, can't wait for the new album!

Wait wait wait, I'm a big oasis fan, I've always loved this song but I didn't know they have made electric versions! When did it come out? Anyway this made my day! Thanks!
I think it was at a BBC recording session in early 2000 if I’m not mistaken
Globelamp brought me here! Love you Lizzy....😢
It was alot better than I thought it would be.
Hit me right in the soul 😍
Amo essa música
a beaut. "take me walking to where you played when you were young."
this is remarkably good quality
Amo esta canción en la versión original. Pero ésta no está nada mal... Muy buena 👏👌

미친 대박 너무 좋다!
What a f'kin' belter that is !!!!!!!
@zutafogao It was recorded in January 2000 at the BBC Maida Vale studios, so the line-up would be Noel, Gem, Andy and Alan. I guess Mike Rowe or Strangeboy Stacey plays the electric piano.
Not as vulnerable without the empty acoustics. It does sound more distraught, though. It makes it a bit of a different song, then.
i'm liking this very much !
fantastic!!
Wonderful
Amazing
is this on a cd at all? because this is the best version of this song ever!!! i love the acoustic, but i dont know this just sounds great and amazing!
Love this song!!
noel is no a god but is one of us!
cheers
amazing
Love the guitar feedback swells in this version. Really adds the gloominess to it.
What I just thought this version must be from around 2000-02 It obviously has Gem Archer on lead guitar and Noel mostly just plays the arpeggio and strumming parts And it's definitely Whitey doing the drumming.
Very similar to Little By Little from that era 2 so my guess is 2002
It’s 2000
where did you find this,is it a b-side? I know the acoustic version on masterplan, but have never heard this, it's awesome!
jesus its awesome
woah
This song rocks. I liked the acoustic guitar better than the electric one, but I think I liked his singing better in this version.
CLASS
I love it
WOAH
Mega!
Amazing! But I still enjoy talk tonight without any changes
Pretty good version :)
perfect - Noel is flawless. great version. "fuck off and develop a drug habit" .. this i'm sure, helped inspired parts of Riverman from his NGHFB!
