- Alternate history where Liam walks in to sing with Noel on the demo of Some Might Say.
Vocals used are the acapella studio vocals, slowed about 10%. Demo version of some might say was then varispeeded up about 5% to match the higher pitch. Some jiggery pokery with an exciter + compressors to help glue it all together.
I don't own any of this, all rights to Noelly G, Sony, Creation, whoever else.
They sound so nice together it’s honestly heart warming

I like the technique of changing the pitch up on certain songs. They did it with "don't look back in anger" also. Just gives it a bit more edge.
It works great with Noel songs as it makes him sound a bit more Liam. I did a version of Full On with this effect - ruclips.net/video/59YuZq3FOV8/видео.html&ab_channel=DanJames
They did it also with "Live Forever", "Slide Away", "Hey Now!" and "Morning Glory". I don't remember other high-pitched songs, but these are few of them.

@@nickroe1 If you search for let’s say “Don’t Look Back in Anger 440 hz” and listen to it, and compare it to the original with the music video which is 449 hz. You should be able to hear that the original is a bit more pitched up/sharp in tone.

It's cool because Liam sounds like Definitely Maybe era Liam. His vocals changed a lot from the first to the second album.

His voice became more mature and sophisticated, but sweet, on what's the story he says he doesn't like his voice on definitely maybe but this is great recording
I think this is just Noel. It's been sped up a bit causing the pitch to change but this is much better
WTSMG for me is the perfect mix. Rested from a year of touring DM, still pure but with a slight rasp and confident control. There's a mysterious overtone in his voice that is missing in action 96 onwards, never heard again. Likely destroyed via Hashimotos/polyps/drugs/technique.

Brilliant Dan one of the best versions I’ve heard Love songs with both brothers singing! One version that I’d love to hear is have ‘lock all the doors’ use Liam’s voice from ‘my sisters lover’ on verse then keep Noel on chorus, the original demo is my favourite song guitar is archetypical Oasis!

No instrumental of the demo version unfortunately, tough to remove Noel without crapping the track completely.
I never heard them sing a double lead like that (on any release, at least the first few records). When was this demo done, 1994?
@@mumbles215 I edited this together using Liam's acapella vocal of Some Might Say and Noel's Demo (early 95 I suspect). A lot of people prefer Noel's slower tempo demo so thought it'd be cool to mix them up. Sadly no instrumental exists of the demo, otherwise I'd have just had Liam doing his thing.
Ah right on that’s cool. That’s why it sounds like that. You did good man. Yeah cause I never heard them sing a double lead or even Liam do a full double like that. That’s good stuff man. LG sounds so young it’s crazy. Noel cslled the released version “half baked” meaning (his words) it doesn’t know if it wants to rock or be softer. I like the balls out edge of this song.
