So fun to watch your relatable vlogs since there's not many other big4 accountant vloggers. Had 3.5 12/31's I had to lead-senior this year and they finally wrapped up in early May, so definitely can relate to the craziness of senioring jobs. Hopefully your second year-end where you were acting senior went well! I just keep telling myself - "fake it til you make it".

I started my first auditor job this weekend for a private company. I specialize in cannabis gross revenue and tax reporting for businesses that need to report to the city/county. Do you think that this job is worth it in terms of getting experience for a future audit jobs? I feel that I may have just dug myself into a hole by being stuck in auditing for cannabis businesses.
@@chuu4670 Thank you for your feedback. I am still new to auditing and although I've had 4 years of tax experience and 2 years of financial account in private. I feel like I am starting over in my career by not focusing on a specific field and becoming an expert on it. I did take a down payment in terms of my salary for this new position because I've always wanted to try some form of auditing. Could you give me some advice on career progression such as when I should move on to another company, what should my salary progression look like or even what I should expect? I am currently studying for my CPA and did let the firm know that I was pursuing it but they just mentioned that I would get a slight bonus if I pass and all auditing positions do not require the CPA. Much appreciation for you taking the time to ready this.
