I highly recommend eating lunch/dinner away from your desk! this was a non-negotiable for me when I worked at EY. sure enough, my team would end up joining me in the cafeteria to eat meals instead of eating at their desk too. even that 15 min break away from our desks made a huge difference for our mental health! congrats on getting through busy season!!
Was in EY for 3 years and senior year really took a toll on my mental health. Hope you emerge strong this busy season. Thanks for portraying this really realistic big4 auditor life. I know how hard it is to keep your life together while working extremely long hours, even on weekends. 수고했어요!
As an ex big-4 auditor myself, I can totally relate to this & you. I do admire your overall attitude and the fact that you still vlogged during busy season (I could never LOL). I definitely do not miss it! Hopefully you're at the tail end of busy season now. Good luck!
Great video! I'm starting my big 4 internship this summer! You should definitely make a video of your CPA exam timeline, how you prepped, and studied. I am eligible to register soon, so I'm definitely nervous :/
Great video! Your time management must be really on point to still be able to edit videos during your busy season. I was graduated with a Degree in Accounting and Finance 2 years ago, currently working as a financial analyst, but looking to make a switch into either big 4 as auditor/accountant or IB as market/research analyst... and your video really makes me think twice whether should I step into big 4 lol.
Hello great videos! I recently discovered you and I ve been binge watching all your busy season blogs love them! Soon I will be starting my 2nd busy season. My 1st one was with EY and my 2nd will be with Deloitte. From this vlog I get that u sometimes do gym before work? Because that's what I want to bring into my routine gym before work, along 6am or so. Is it tiring?
Hi Sally, Been watching your videos recently and I wanted to ask if you are a CPA or is planning to ever study to become one? Also, what are your opinions about pursing a CPA but knowing that you don't want to work in public? Great video by the way!
i passed all my exams and currently waiting for my license after submitted my required experience hours! i think having a CPA will always help your career, especially if you plan to continue to work in the finance/accounting industry. even outside of it, having a CPA is a testament to your work ethic and discipline!
@@sallykim7 Thank you so much for the advice. I just got a job offer to become an auditor for a private company. Hopefully this helps me prepare for the audit portion of the CPA exam.
Is this your first busy season? My sister is also a CPA at a Big 4, most likely more senior than you since you’re just in your 20s. But during busy seasons, she works rigorous hours. It’s truly demanding. And it repeats every year.
