Mr. Robot is just Tyler Durden literally. It's not that Elliot doesn't remember gathering the group, he never did. Mr. Robot was the one that gathered the group and slowly introduced Elliot to the group because having him makes the work easier. You are right that Mr. Robot is the one that gets things done which Elliot wishes he himself was able to do. But the negative that comes with it is, Mr. Robot is reckless and destructive. (His plan to blow up the gas plant to blow up Steel Mountain before Elliot stepped in, giving up on the Shayla situation because he doesn't care) "They're gonna get rid of me again" he is talking about Krista or any psychiatrist. You will learn much later why Elliot forgot them and stuff.

Mr. robot literally mentioned the "shrink", ~pop their pills, they are controlling him~ this very episode who "don't want us working together" and Darlene saying "did you forget AGAIN" last episode implying there's obviously something esle going on. It is all already established. I posted that comment after reading it like 100 times to be sure there is no information there that's not been given so far upto episode 9. SPOILERS!!! Of course if we went to actual spoilers, Mr Robot isn't JUST talking about Krista when he says "they're gonna get rid of me again" but that's information we haven't gotten so far.

A lot of people have a thing for Tyrell, but Phillip Price and Joanna Wellick are also exceptional characters in this show.
Leon and Irving are my personal favorites.
