Tell me why in every movie they literally forget to get her hair and eyes correct. Her hair is really full and thick in the comics and reminds you of big fluffy clouds. Then her eyes, they are literally ice to sky blue cat eyes. And she is 5'11" but 6'2" with heals on,why get these specific details wrong in literally literally every movie. Storm is my favorite character from the X-Men. As a mixed kid growing up she was my first view of a person of color in comics I felt really proud of this, not to say I didn't like storm in the movies but still. Details people, details. Please get it right next time. And stop holding her back on her powers.
Based on your points: 1. Storm's heritage would be so interesting to explore, especially establishing the distinction between African and African-American cultures. I do wonder if they'd try to just make her American instead, or just have her grow up in America from a younger age. 2. A big fear of mine is Storm being OP. If she has so many abilities she can easily channel, it means she's gonna win each fight relatively easily or be nerfed depending on the situation. I'd like for her to slowly escalate her powers, with there being a cap so she isn't unstoppable. 3. Storm's been depicted many ways, and while I'm a fan of her more gentle presence, her confidence and power needs to be acknowledged. 4. I'm iffy about this; goddess Storm (fantasy) and X-Men Storm (sci-fi) feel like two characters in one. There's not much distinction from what part of her powers are magic and what are mutant, which in my opinion, kinda undermines the mutant situation, similar to Wanda. Plus IDK if the MCU has mastered magic yet, so saying she's an evolved human just works better, imo. 5. Fox did Halle (and even besides Hugh) dirty in the X-films. I really hope in the MCU they learn from the mistakes of the Fox X men and not make the X men just a Wolverine Movie. Give the other X men like Storm and Cyclops there time in the spotlight.
Yeah... then FOX gave all their attention to Mystique... who barely has a role in the comics. She was mostly their enemy, and only joined the Xmen briefly.

I feel the same way about Rogue. I love the friendship between Storm and Rogue. Back in 2000 I was team Bassett to play Storm. The way A.B. carries herself and her voice was perfect. Such a missed opportunity there. I really want to see Storm & Rogue’s awesome powers working together in a battle. They need to make a great Storm, Rogue and Gambit. I hope Marvel gives them all equal importance as Jean, Cyclops & Wolverine. There are so many stories there. Man! Your video got me all worked up, LOL! 😅👍🏼
Omg! Thank you! Thank you, for this video! You were on point with everything! Storm is my favorite since I was little and to see her character diminished in the live action movies hurt my soul.
I like Jodie Turner-Smith but Disney may want to avoid the divorce drama between her and her husband, Joshua Jackson especially if Lupita Nyong'o is involved. Nayakim Gatwech might work if she can act and be directed to talk slower and more measured because Storm is very thoughtful of her words.
I saw a pic of Anna Diop and was like, "YEP! That's Ororo Munroe right there!" She's been acting for a bit, but her most recent role was as Starfire in the recent HBO series, Titans. She's stunning and perfect aesthetically. I'll be honest i haven't seen the series, but heard she was very good in the role. Anyone who's watched it, what say u of her acting chops?
Ironically, Damaris Lewis who plays Blackfire in that show as her sister, was my top pick. I wanted a tall, comic accurate Storm who looked regal in the face.
And they need to get Wolverines height right too. He's 5'3. Hugh Jackman was too tall and I never saw him as Wolverine. And I think he's a great actor in everything else he's in
@@misterrightuk Idk, I ain't Canadian, I assume for regular, average to tall size Canadians it's not a problem. For Wolverine's comic book accurate height and stature though? One in a million.
@@adamrobertson4177 While Logan is supposed to be 5'3" in the comics, few artists draw him that short. For example, Jubilee, is supposed to be two inches taller than him at 5'5" and he's always drawn taller than her. For perspective, Joe Pesci is 5'3", Seth Green is 5"4".
What always ticks me off, is that te writers know very little of science and have no Idea that Storm can blast you with air from the upper Stratosphere or lower Troposphere with the icy temperature of -108 degrees F, ( -78 C), or bring down the air from the Thermosphere or Exosphere with temperatures ranging between 500-2,000 degrees F. and "instacook" an enemy. she could also condense moisture in the air in your lungs and make you drown on dry land, or cause you to suffocate by removing the moisture until your lungs can't function., she can make you pass out by giving you low oxygen air (stratospheric), but, warmed air. The whole thing is that she wouldn't need to kill anyone with any of these effects she could just make them very uncomfortable.
I just really hope they give her blue eyes I always loved them and her white hair and blue eyes are such an important look to her, also her love for her body and willingness to show her skin freely
There are actors actresses taller and shorter to comic characters height her height has nothing do with it tom holland foot taller than Peter Parker in comics, cable height is 6/8 in comics josh brolin is 5/10
@@dragonball3166 I'm surprised you didn't mention Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, that's the usual go-to lol. But all jokes aside if she's not the exact height of her comic book counterpart it's not the end of the world but I think an actress on the taller side would be a good choice. Also in regards to Cable & Spider-Man, I don't know how many 6'8 actors there are out there lol. Let alone ones who would've been a good fit for the role. And all of the guys who've plays Spider-Man have been around comic Peter Parker 's height from what I can find. Would love to know where you're getting you stats from.
I think Storm should get a solo project as well as be introduced in the second X-Men movie. If we see a new T’Challa her relationship with him should be explored along with her rivalry with Callisto. She definitely needs to have a commanding presence and be a good leader when Scott isn’t around or if he eventually dies.
Very good my guy. Ororo is omega in weather and for people to understand that because of the energies of weather she controls she is omega in Electric, Electromagnetic, Kinetic, Thermal, Radiant, and Chemical. Aside from atmospheric storms, she can manipulate the electrical forces in your brain, your heart as the guy said, in machines and channel is through her body and intensify up to a uncalculated hotter degree. With kinetic wind pressure she can cause you to go deaf as he said but also remove the air from your body to suffocate you. She can boil and pressure you from the inside and explode you. She can freeze that air inside you and also freeze your organs because of the air surrounding them. She manipulate molecules in water by separating them to allow oxygen under water to breath. She can wind pressure fire so intensely removing the oxygen to put it out. With thermal she can cause a heat stroke as he said but literally freeze your entire being to a zero degree level and shatter you. She can burn your skin with the pressure of wind/heat. With radiant, she can manipulate solar energy to intensify winds causing solar winds and her electricity. Her power over the electrical forces are truly uncalculated. She has complete control of the forces inside her that she can use her on electrical energy to NEGATE other energy such as anyone using their energy power to try to subdue hers or drain her. She also can create a pressure field and has also use her own electrical energy to keep another alive and charge. She control the forces of nature and people confuse that with just weather only. She is spiritually connected to the life forces of a planet she connects with. In particular not only the atmosphere but the earth living organisms. She is mentally aware of the growth and life of them. She don't just use her energy as burst and it just let it does what it does, she actually mentally understands how to intensify or abate it to do her WILL. People have no clue how bad she is and why she is in fact the most dangerous. I haven't even explained everything she can do.
She needs to be present. The 90s cartoon had her summon some weather and she'd either" A: Faint from exhaustion B: Get hit once and be out the entire fight They dont know what to do with her
Yeah... because honestly she's a bit overpowered and would win most fights in seconds all by herself. The other Xmen could sit in the plane eating popcorn. The only time they would be needed is for big boss fights like Magneto, Apocalypse, Juggernaut, etc. 😆
What you said is very true about storm. I'm not expecting anyone from Hollywood to get it right. They've made multiple films about Wolverine. We have the ideas, and the technology. It is up to us to get it done.
Honestly, I believe Angela not being cast was for the best, because look at the BS Halle had to work with. Angela's Storm would've been mishandled just as badly as Halle's was. I just wish that Ryan Coogler didn't cast Angela as Queen Ramonda. I wouldn't have minded having an older Storm in the MCU, as long as Angela was playing her. The good thing about Storm's powerset is that Angela (at her current age) wouldn't have had to do as many physically demanding stunts as others, like Logan or Rogue. So she can just wave her arms, say a speech, and then a CG tornado destroys an evil villains warehouse, lol.
Another thing they need to keep in mind is, is one of her weaknesses is Closterphobia. The very first X-Men movie I felt as if they "Meh" it away when Toad knocked her down the elevator shaft. When she went Hells Bells on Toad after escaping, we should have seen in her mannerisms of said Closterphobia.
Nice video. And I liked your enthusiasm and knowledge about Storm. Also, Storm has a longer, more almond shape face, kind of like the late, great Dihann Carol or even Tyra Banks.
Jodie Turner-Smith is the only Storm in my book!! I’m mean come on, she has the regal presence and features, statuesque body, right skin tone, great accent.her face is just STUNNING!
No one cared more about Storm than Chris Claremont….we never give him his flowers…he promoted her to leader of the Xmen…when no one else would take a chance….she never had a better run then the 80s
Dont forget as leader of The Uncanny X-Men blue team she is also a master strategist. She is not only a top level hand to hand combatant ranked with the likes of Saber Tooth and Wolverine shes also a more than capable field general right up there with characters like Captain America and Cyclops. She can set up a battelfield with the best of them. They often leave out the fact that shes not only a Queen and a Goddess. Shes also a top of the line Soldier capable of giving Steve Rogers a run for his money.
No lie, this video gained you a new sub, and i never thought about this before. Angela Bassett really REALLY does give off Storm vibes, and im willing to bet she would play that part well! That being said, i cant think off the top of my head, who in this generation of actresses could both look and pull the part to near perfection.
What people always forget is height storm is a tall statues women it is a very important Integral part of her character a lot of her character bio from the early day till to this day will always mentioned her height that is 5.11 miss mam towers over average people her physical look is that of an actual Goddess imagine by men high cheek bone, define bone and muscle structure so I want Marvel to search for atleast minimum 5.8 actress to play her
DeWanda Wise is my ideal choice for Storm. If you cant do the blue eyes, at least hers is the closest. And she has that commanding presence, yet sensual as well.
Storm has always been omega level but was always nerfed due to writers bias and racism. Let's call a spade a spade people, Storm is mother nature incarnate and some. Jade Cargill would be a perfect casting 👌
......you're calling the writers "bias and racist" really? One, white men created Storm two if they weren't Wolverine, Xavier, Magneto, Jean Grey or even Mystique they didn't care. Stop complaining about nonexistent problems.
Nonsense. Omega level (and even Alpha level) didn't exist as a concept back when Storm was introduced. She was never nerfed, Storm is simply a character whose power developed and grew over time, the same as Iceman & Jean Grey.
Despite her age, Iman would've been a great Storm, back in the day. "The Look" should've been listed 1st, as that's the 1st thing we'll all notice. Storm doesn't have a "strong face", she just doesn't have a "babyface". Her face is more angular & not rounded like Halle Berry's. Plus I hate how Storm's supposed to be the tallest "main" X-woman, yet she was so short in the horrid "FoX-Men" movies (which they did the opposite for Logan). IDK about all the OLM & magic stuff, since it's more of a "recent" development in her character and/or woefully underutilized, so she won't be too O.P.. Her powers in X-TAS would suffice for the silver screen. Plus characters are almost always "under-power" to make them more suitable to the media that is movies (we don't want another "FoX-Men" moment where they had to sideline characters like Quicksilver, who're too OP for the story to be compelling). I believe the MCU will do far better w/ Storm than the "FoX-Men" ever did. At the very least, I think they wouldn't "light-wash" her & would even make her a more prominent character (esp. w/ the success of Black Panther). The MCU did more w/ black characters than the "FoX-Men" movies ever did w/ Storm, the least of which was giving them a more convincing complexion.
Great points, but Storm doesn't need to (and shouldn't be) depicted as Omega level right away. Her initial power set WAS weather control and she had limits, as the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe in the 1980s-1990s explicitly stated. Her power evolution can mirror her character's story arc- she had to overcome her claustrophobia early on. And the mystical elements of her character are recent, those should be explored after the character is established, just like in the comics. There is no need to abbreviate decades of storytelling and present the X-Men (Storm included) as their 2020s versions, those are personas they eventually grow into.
I would prefer a gradual progression of strength/power as well, as it would make for a better character arc(s). Luckily for us there's a lot Storm can do long before she reaches anywhere near where she is now. Will elaborate in future videos.
@a.mp.m7340 Upset?, by the same bs I'm spew, what a combative response i'm almost lost for words and on top of that you commented on my comment as if I wanted your useless reply, now like your mother tolded you before I'm sure," Your unwanted here sweet heart."
Perhaps. But not in Uncanny X-Men 368 and 369. No amping mutant there. Just Storm wielding extradimenaional energies to repair that dimension and repel the Trion who overpowered the Juggernaut. Thus, she doesnt need Kora to amp her powers to control interdimensional energies. She did it there as well as in X-Men Clan Destine, all her own.
I think her characteristics and how she holds herself(commanfing presences). Angela Bassett would of been the perfect Storm but she played Black Panthers mother.
Great video man. I would say I agree with everything you said except Storms look. Storm should be strikingly beautiful and regal. I have never liked some artist give her a harder or masculine look. That's not Storm . Ororo is a stunningly beautiful woman. Statues and exotic . She has beautiful flowing white hair. Eyes that are shaped like a cat and blue. Everything about Storm commands attention. I always thought that Iman's look would have been perfect for Storm.
Given most of Storms comic run has long white hair, we have only had one iteration of her like that in all the films. That damn Mohawk has been done to DEATH! I would like to see her as she’s been drawn for most of her time in comics. And she should be a capable mutant. I wanna see her powers matter. I don’t care if it’s just lighting and wind and cold, but if someone is struck by lightning, then it should be effective for heavens sake. If she creates a whole sky full of tornadoes (an awesome scene in X2 btw) then it should be a complete win. We shouldn’t see all this awesomeness and it not actually mean anything or get the job done. THAT has always been the problem with Storm’s abilities in live action. The new x-men films depowered her even more than she was in the original films. So THAT is something else I need to see. Her powers mattering when they work.
I would love to see DeWanda Wise portray her in the MCU. I love her facial features and those eyes are so beautiful. I fell in love with her when I saw her in the Netflix movie Someone Great. And she has done action in the movie Jurassic World Dominion. So she is perfect. I hope they cast her as Storm since she was dropped to play Monica Ramboe.
*conventionally" attractive = more attractive objectively. The comment also wasn't a slight against Angela Bassett. Or did you miss the part where I said Angela Bassett was a better fit for Storm looks wise?
get her cat eyes and blue colored eyes right and show her with long white hair and have her with a strong will and show her thinking of herself with african roots and her own garden room
Oh and her not taking Xavier’s BS. She’ll do what he needs to do, eg steal something, but she doesn’t want him to think she’s the same street child she was twenty years prior. Their relationship has always had a lack of respect on his end.
@@KennyBlaine I think it’s more apparent for her because of how much she ties to Xavier. Especially with her role as leader in the 80’s. Because, as we all know, the moment that Xavier can walk, he begins sidelining her so he can be the field leader. Heck, from their meeting in Giant size, there is a little resentment.
I really love Storm. I was thrilled by the Murlock Story Arc in the comics. She was so great. And yes, her character is most of the time reduced to " sidekick" in newer movies. But I must admit, Halle Berry was not that bad. I liked her more than Jean or Cyclops.
Don’t know how the black community may feel about that, cause I’ve been hearing from them that Cynthia doesn’t like African Americans. So that might be risky to cast her.
They need to cast a Kenyon actor for the part. The Model/Actor Iman would've been great in the early 2000s. I'm still butt hurt how they ruined the source material "God loves, Man Kills" in X-2.
Michaela Coel can play Storm. She has the facial structure same as Storm. The voice quite deeper for a woman and she played as one of the Female Army in Black Panther. She definitely can do good fight scenes.
Her physical combat abilities is better than most and can increase her physical strength and durability using her abilities the number of people she defeated without powers should attest to that Storms not just a backseat damage dealer she can scrap .
Wrestler Jade Cargill is Perfect for the role. In RL, she has a daughter, so there's a family dynamic. Jade is tall being a former college basketball player, standing at 5'10". She's has a beautiful face, an athletic body, thanks to being a former fitness model, and a confidence level that's off the chain. The bonus is that she said that Storm was her favorite comic character. Her opening theme in wrestling is, "A Storm is coming!" Yeah, I think she's the Perfect fit.
Storm is a very diverse character with a lengthy background. I think fans need to ease off from criticizing every movie adaptation of Storm and learn to enjoy her appearances more. That said, Storm deserves a live action movie and one that doesn’t involve Black Panther who’s always leeching off of her popularity.
If her movie adaptations (so far) have made no real attempt to captured the essence of who she has been in the comics for 50 years, then I feel that people have a right to complain about that. I'm not saying they have to make a carbon copy of her in live-action; they just need to make a real attempt to get her right. Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda was the closest thing we've seen of someone capturing the essence of who Storm is. Some of us have been waiting for decades to see our favorite character handled with respect by Hollywood. We are tired of walking away from these films thinking about what "could've been", instead what "is".
If it's a main character I don't see how that's unreasonable for us to actually learn about them. GotG introduced 5 brand new characters to the MCU and gave us a basic understanding of who they are and what brought them to where they were at the current time of the movie. If they can do that for lesser known/obscure characters, they can do that for Storm. Not asking for her exhaustive family history in one single movie btw.
@@StormKoriHQ so gambit, beast, Scott, iceman, every main character huh very long movie. Didn't say Logan bc mostly everybody knows his back story like almost every main character
You're acting like that hasn't already been done successfully. The MCU is full of rosters where we meet a good portion of, if not all of, the main characters in that movie and learn about them. Again, not literally everything, but enough for us to get invested and then future movies can build upon that. It could be as simple as one exchange with another character or a single flashback during a pivotal moment for some things. You're making this unnecessarily complicated. @@yusufhatcher7336
She is thee most underrated and underutilized character in the MCU. I believe she is the next Black Panther style character that will draw huge audiences based on everything you just said. Beautiful character with a complex backstory and unique heritage that deserves the right treatment. It will win everyone over.
A decade ago, Yaya DaCosta would have been a great choice to play Storm, visually speaking. But I dont know if her acting skills would have been up to the task. And 20 years ago, Vivica Fox would have been outstanding. Right now I don't know which young actresses have the physical stature and screen presence required for Ororo.
All good points that sum up all of what Storm is, but the single most important thing about "getting Storm right" is *having a good story to tell focused on Storm* in the first place. The true issue is simply, Storm was not featured, so none of her rich history could really be delved into. Halle having softer features than comics Storm would not have mattered if she had material to sink her teeth into (much like Hugh wasn't 5'3" and gruff). People forget Halle is an award winning talent and simply had no dialog and arc to be anything more than lightning support. Angela Bassett was my hope for Storm as well, but the exact same thing would have happened to her if given the role while Wolverine, Rogue, Xavier, Magneto and Jean were the main focus of the stories. Also, I'd keep her powers limited in her first appearance and delve into them being greater than anyone knew so she stays interesting over time (powers wise) as she is fleshed out (character depth wise). The real question is whether the MCU is prepared to do 2 or 3 concurrent projects with the X-Men to let the focus spread out and not be stuck on Wolverine, Xavier/Magneto and Jean (for example, start with the X-Men's First Class being lost to Krakoa, and have Storm be contacted to gather Xavier's international collaborators to rescue them). The idea would be to have them end up in a place where 2 teams of X-Men exist and a larger community of mutants are rescued from somewhere the world wasn't even aware of. That's enough potential to have something like: 1. Storm: X-Nation (Storm, Xavier plus probably Iceman and Sunfire reintegrating mutants into society) - Big Screen 2. Wolverine's X-Force (after helping Storm rescue the OG team, Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Colossus invite Angel and Beast along and a couple rescues like Shadowkat and Magik to rescue other mutants in distress) - Big Screen 3. Cyclops and Jean with Thunderbird and Banshee, and others are lost in another half to Krakoa: Arakko, and lower budget shenanigans can play out. Disney Plus series. 4. 4 or 5 mutants play hopscotch with these teams and/or non-X teams like the Avengers, new iterations of Guardians, Defenders, etc. and particularly Fantastic Four, to give that franchise some additional pathos.
When I first started reading X-men way back in the day, the only woman who I saw as Storm was Grace Jones. She had everything to be that character, the looks, the voice and the physicality. Sorry not sorry, but I don't want another lighter than a paper bag actor playing Storm. The colorism needs to end. Frankly, I'm terrified of a live action Storm movie because Hollyweird will manage to fuck it up - be it in the writer's room or some problematic white guy director ruining it.
Storm is so interesting, she deserves her own movie. Or at least an 8 episodes of her own show.
I don’t necessarily care if they show her as being overpowered. I just want her powerful presence. Like the way Angela Basset acted as Queen Romonda.

Omg! Thank you! Thank you, for this video! You were on point with everything! Storm is my favorite since I was little and to see her character diminished in the live action movies hurt my soul.
If it was in the early 90s. Iman would be perfect as Storm. Right now it would be Jodie Turner Smith!!!! She is statuesque and looks regal!
Jodie would be great! I also think Yetide Badaki would be an excellent choice.
@@lilb0yb1ue too short

Jodie is my top choice for Storm!
I hope Jade is taking her acting classes seriously. She is physically perfect...
I think you nailed her description to the letter. I have always thought she never looked like Storm.
My choice would Anna Diop as well.
Ironically, Damaris Lewis who plays Blackfire in that show as her sister, was my top pick. I wanted a tall, comic accurate Storm who looked regal in the face.
She DOES NOT have the phenotype. Nor the look. Just because someone is black, doesn't mean they will make a good Storm. smh
@@murk4552I think she could pull it off. I love that she has the proper height, but if they went with someone shorter, I'd be fine with Anna as well.
@@Termite30 not a bad choice
I would really enjoy a Storm series. Every two or so episodes we jump to an older version ending on whoever gets to play her.
They need to get her Height right as she is 5'11 in the comics she could look Cyclops in his eye
And they need to get Wolverines height right too. He's 5'3. Hugh Jackman was too tall and I never saw him as Wolverine. And I think he's a great actor in everything else he's in
@@adamrobertson4177 You know how hard it is to find stocky, short Canadians?
@@murk4552 How common is it for Hollywood to cast a Canadian actor to play a Canadian character?
A younger iman. Would have been a great storm. Grace Jones too
I just really hope they give her blue eyes I always loved them and her white hair and blue eyes are such an important look to her, also her love for her body and willingness to show her skin freely
There are African tribes with blue eyes so it’s not unreasonable
I’ve always pictured Storm looking like the model Iman from Somalia. She’s absolutely gorgeous!
Don't forget that she should be tall as well. Storm is tall...
Yep. 5 '11
5'11 barefoot. With heels on 6'2 to 6'3...
If she's not eye level with me (I'm 6'1) then I don't want it!
The 90s cartoon had her summon some weather and she'd either"
A: Faint from exhaustion
B: Get hit once and be out the entire fight
They dont know what to do with her
Yeah... because honestly she's a bit overpowered and would win most fights in seconds all by herself. The other Xmen could sit in the plane eating popcorn. The only time they would be needed is for big boss fights like Magneto, Apocalypse, Juggernaut, etc. 😆
Geezus Khrist that's a lot of Storm videos! The definition of "in your bag"
What you said is very true about storm. I'm not expecting anyone from Hollywood to get it right. They've made multiple films about Wolverine. We have the ideas, and the technology. It is up to us to get it done.
7:37 absolutely murdered me🤣
Lmao just telling the truth
Damn I never comment on RUclips videos. This is fantastic!!!! Thank you. MCU do storm right!
Instead of Halle Berry it should have been Angela Bassett during that time.
Blame her team. Angela wasn't even aware that the role had been offered to her and they turned it down due to the pay.
Gina Torres can also pull it off fs

That Part!!!
I vote for Yetide Badaki. She was great for Bilquis and she would great for Storm.
Her and Poison Ivy both deserve a lot more respect in the films.
Jodie Turner-Smith is the only Storm in my book!! I’m mean come on, she has the regal presence and features, statuesque body, right skin tone, great accent.her face is just STUNNING!
She's definitely a fave in fan casting for a reason!
I love everything u said. It's just try but I still love the actress that was in X-Men as storm early 2000❤
Storm, clyopse, jubilee need own trilogy in mcu

Anna Diop aka Starfire from Titans...perfect storm
Come on, SAY THAT SIR!!
If only they actually looked at the source material and tried adapting that to live action
God I completely agree, 100%. You ain’t telling no lies. Just subscribed, notifications till on!!!
Love to see it!
Yetide Badaki is my top pick! She's a fan of Storm too!
She's been a favorite pick for a lot of us and seeing her love for Storm is so good to see!
With the XCOTA music in the back 🙌🏿. Love my favorite xmen, Storm.

Put Storm and Rogue's big rears back in X-Men's 97.
I'd still love Angela Basset as Storm.
When she controlled an inter-dimensional storm, it was from a timeline where she was 100s of years old and was amped by another mutant.
She wasn’t really amped she offered the burning heart along with her life force to create the storm/wormhole either or same result so yea.
To finish out that arc, she was reborn from a younger age, but was using her own power to defeat the Emma Mech.
2:25 agree they always seem to just remember she choose lightning and can fly (again the reason why I like one scene from X2 is because is different )
And not changing her accent from movie to movie.
Though Storm will be in the 3rd season of What If... so there's a chance there.
I think her characteristics and how she holds herself(commanfing presences). Angela Bassett would of been the perfect Storm but she played Black Panthers mother.
That’s Brilliantly Awesome!
If Angela Bassett is up to it I would love to see her in this role - my next choice would be Lupita N’yongo both of Black Panther fame
Damn dude great Job!!!!
Your absolutely right they stay depowering her. Honestly she is like the most powerful mutant .

I really love Storm. I was thrilled by the Murlock Story Arc in the comics. She was so great. And yes, her character is most of the time reduced to " sidekick" in newer movies. But I must admit, Halle Berry was not that bad. I liked her more than Jean or Cyclops.

Mr. Fiege, Jade Cargill is your MCU Storm right now.
They need to cast a Kenyon actor for the part. The Model/Actor Iman would've been great in the early 2000s. I'm still butt hurt how they ruined the source material "God loves, Man Kills" in X-2.
Jodie Turner Smith is my choice. Someone whose mere presence commands attention.
Anna Diop would be perfect to cast as storm🌩
Michaela Coel can play Storm. She has the facial structure same as Storm. The voice quite deeper for a woman and she played as one of the Female Army in Black Panther. She definitely can do good fight scenes.
3:16 this panel made me wish we see her lead the x-men in some adaptationnone day. Plus, it is nice to see how she could put Logan in his place.
They had ol girl making ice cubes in Apocalypse. I wanted to scream
So we got to have a back story to every character in the movies

Awesome video! Pity u didnt use any 90s X-men Animated Series clips of Storm, especially in a leadership moment. 💪🏽🌩
That's enough potential to have something like:
1. Storm: X-Nation (Storm, Xavier plus probably Iceman and Sunfire reintegrating mutants into society) - Big Screen
2. Wolverine's X-Force (after helping Storm rescue the OG team, Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Colossus invite Angel and Beast along and a couple rescues like Shadowkat and Magik to rescue other mutants in distress) - Big Screen
You have a problem with a lightskinned black woman playing Storm, which makes YOU the actual colorist.
