Innovation in this case means taking a few pages out of Olight's book (milling pattern, 2-way, position-swappable clip, dual LED banks for mode and battery). Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing and I'll probably buy this light. The 5300 mAh battery is impressive.
and with the new Ultra High Intensity LED light, the hotspot is a lot more smooth and round!
@@NitecoreStoredo you think it’s better then the P23i? Longer distance?
22 seconds.
Turbo is 22 seconds and then it steps down. It gets real hot and that's understandable. the green and blue light indicators are a nice touch and really like it. i wish these were implemented on the SRT7i or.... the tac buttons of the SRT7i on the MH12pro/MH25pro. for me this model is not really pro with that step down in seconds.
i think the MH12SE is a better flashlight as 1800lumens is just right. i really wish you guys upgrade the p10i and make a p13i where it has the MH12SE beam, a tad bit more lumens, and the tac buttons of the SRT7i.
making a return for the mh12pro. it was nice but... eh.... basically this is a 1200 lumen light with indicators and a nice 2nd button and can tail stand.
Looks like a winner. Good price, too.
Couldn't agree more!
Wow. I am very impressed with the run times. I am a big nitecore fan, I am going to get this one fit sure if it doesn't cost too much.
Finally nitcore made tactical flash with beacon sos strobe mode
epic company with epic products. can't wait to see what they come up with in the years to come. (I still love my discontinued MH12s)
We love to hear that! We also mourn that loss, gone but never forgotten, the legacy lives on! 🤣
Very nice! A little sleeker than my favorite flashlight, the P20iX, but I really like the great flood it gives around the hotspot. A little more EDC, with still plenty of punch. Pure awesomeness.
You summed this light up great, couldn't agree more!
@@NitecoreStoreis there a bundle available with it?
Which do you think is better? The P20ix or MH12 Pro?
_Looking forward to receiving this one today!_
Can't wait for you to receive it!
1.200 lumens for over 4 hours !!!! OUTSTANDING !!!!
I'm gonna get this !!!!
Will check this very soon, but I saw so many trade-offs here. Why you don't keep it in one inch head diameter so the accessories can still be useful? Olight proximity sensor? 2 slots for clip in the start and the end? NT10R clip can fit? There are so much resemblances with olight baton. I thought it will have some aggressive bezel but this just olight baton or acebeam e70 moved. Hope you produce some aggressive and effective tactical bezel for, yes, tactical uses.
Sweet new light!! Thx Nitecore! Looks like another winner, the last two MH12’s were awesome!! 😎👍
Glad you like them and this one!
Awesome Lite!!
I have an idea...how about sending the item to some users here who know how to use them, gets to leave his house, knows what they are used for, and understands what tactical means Sorry, but for you guys, everything you make is, understandably a gift from God, and even though I brought my p20ix and p23i based on other users reviews here and are very good, I got conned by your lot into buying the edc 27 v1, which is undoubtedly the biggest turd of a flashlight I have ever come across.
nice new light! i like memory mode
I've already pre-ordered mine about a week or so ago👍👊🇺🇸
Right on!
When will the pre-orders be shipping out?
Why do lights need proximity sensors all of a sudden... Olight kinda HAD to implement it because their lights reached such mainstream appeal they would get into hands of people that had no idea how to operate them and people would burn their pockets.
Other flashlight companies don't have to blindly follow this, save the money, those proximity sensors are more inconvenient than useful, that's why olight has ways to turn it off.
Also getting to that ultralow seems a bit clumsy but I think I understand why, it's probably because you need the mechanical switch to turn it on, which does have it's upsides.
The performance is definitely revolutionary I'd say, those new leds are a huge jump from even the sft40s /sft70s.
I'm sure NITECORE will let you turn off the proximity sensor as well, so just chill, enjoy the light, smoke some bud....
I recently get my MH12V2 and after 1 week of use, I really miss the pedal/button strobe ready tail cap switch, at least this has to be available as an optional accessory for the "tactical" use, in fact this is a most for the all MH line...
nice torch light

Заказал себе такой! Уже не терпится протестировать)
Hope Nitecore is working on a SRT5i with the new LED in MH12 Pro. Something more pocketable. I’ve been carrying original SRT3 for nearly 10 years and ready to upgrade.
The math doesn't add up ;) - 1200lm-4:30h, 300lm-8:30h. Which means that 1200lm is also a turbo mode and there is a quick drop to about 600lm - then it is correct.
Yep, can confirm. They repeatedly advertised 1,200 lumens for 4.5 hours and my testing basically said 700 lumens for 4 hours after 15 minutes at 1,200. Honestly really annoying they can just lie but it is a good light.
Bring back the other reviewer
Hi, I need this model with green laser, it is coming in the near future??? I really prefer this one above the Olight Odin😉
That LED looks warm. Is there any chance to buy it cool white?
It’s pretty cool in person
Did you say at the beginning of the video that the EDC27 has a proximity sensor?
After too many holes were burned in pockets, Nitecore released a 2nd version. If you now look in the manual it says that it has a sensor. But which one you buy remains a secret ;-)
What heppened to "dumb fart"?
I like to know that too.
This guy did good too, but I agree, we need a review from the big dumb fart and Kelly! 😂
He left for another job
Nitecore Store can at tactical mode can you access the strobe by the tail switch thanks
No, the strobe activates the same way in tactical mode (holding the side switch), however because of mode memory you can turn the light to strobe mode and then with the tail switch turn the light on and off, memorizing the strobe!
can u pls compare mh12 pro and srt7i? And does the srt7i got a new version? Thanks
Definitely can! Coming soon
Can you run the 21700HPI battery from a P series in this?
Unfortunately not as i series batteries will only work in i series lights!
What about the heat when you hold it?Because my older Nitecore tge temperature is very high and i can’t touch it!!
This light does get pretty hot whenever used on turbo for extended periods of time. So if you constantly need high-intensity light I would be aware of how hot this light gets. However, I would recommend the new MH25 Pro as it fixes this problem pretty elegantly with the bell shaped head!
@@NitecoreStore can you tell me exactly what model it is?because I'm doing a search and I get a lot on this model
Habe meine heute bekommen.
Geile, geile Lampe !!!
That was in german Languarge.
Beste Grüsse aus Hamburg,
Thomas
Can this light be setup to always start with the highest brightness level in strobe mode?
Yes, it has a tactical mode that I would check out in the user manual and I went over it in the video at 3:30 !
I have the mh12, and I love it. I ended up getting the other 4000 lumen too but don't like it as much as this.
Is the MH12PRO compatible with the NTH10 holster?
The NTH10 is designed for lights with a 1" tube diameter and the MH12 Pro at its narrowest is 1.02" and widest 1.06" so it might be a tight squeeze, but you could probably get it to fit
Is it compatible with the NL2150 batteries?
Yes! It is fully compatible with the NL2150 5000 mAh battery however because it is a lower capacity it tends to get hotter, quicker than the included 5300 mAh battery!
Can I use the 5300 battery in the srt7i?
Sadly no, as i Series lights are only compatible with i series batteries.
How long can it run in high before it gets too hot and dimms down?
This light uses ATR (advanced temperature regulation) meaning that there is no set time but rather only steps down once an internal temperature is reached, so the answer depends on the environment!
@@NitecoreStore But how long will it last in high setting?
@@lehntubethey literally just answered your question
Can you turn off the proximity sensor?
Yes but only until you turn the light back off and on again! Just press the side switch whenever the proximity sensor is activated and it will step back up and ignore the sensor until the light is turned off and back on!
But what is the proximity sensor for?
When you shine on something up close it makes a sound "there is something up close."
I looked up this light on nitecore's main website, the accessories that fit onto the MH12SE won't fit onto this new MH12 Pro, the head on the pro is a little bit fatter. Also the ultra low mode on the SE runs for well over 1000 hours and the ultra low on this new one only runs for 650 hours. I don't think I'm going to buy this one. I have what I need from the MH12SE
MH12SE is flashlight perfection imo, it's simple yet modern, versatile, and uses simple 21700 cells, has plenty of distance and brightness, it's a work horse, I use it at work in harsh conditions, then use it at home for simple things like finding my cat or just whatever
@@Lee-lb9qh Do you know if the SE can run on unprotected 21700's?
@@AlrekArinbjorn ya it can, it has protection in the light too, should be good
I have the MH12SE too, on 1 Lumen it says the runtime is 1500 hours. Unbeatable
LED looks 🟢
I said it before, I'll say it now...
Nitecore advertises 1200 lumens for 4.5 hours on turbo, but in reality it is less than 700 lumens for about 2 hours and 15 minutes, after step down from 1200, which lasts half an hour.
Plus an additional 15 minutes around 300 lumens and 45 minutes between 100 and 150 lumens.
In total about 3 hours 43 minutes.
A lot of "new for a Nitecore". But also a lot of Olight in the Flashlight. Bezel and LED from the Javelot Mini, battery tube from the Perun 2 and the indicator lights like M2R Pro, Seeker...
Hopefully the sensor is also looked at from the later Olights and not from the first ones.
How long does the turbo last before the step down starts?
This light uses ATR (advanced temperature regulation) meaning that there is no set time but rather only steps down once an internal temperature is reached, so the answer depends on the environment!
@@NitecoreStoreThe Diplomatic Response. Not to say that after a few seconds the power drops.😂
This light is better than olight, it's brighter, more candela and distance, and type c charging, sorry but the olight charger is dumb....and by far NITECORE has a superior holster
@@NitecoreStore But it must be possible to see how long it lasts at room temperature. I'm not talking about +-10 seconds. With my EK4 or TM10K we are talking about less than 10 seconds turbo. Does the MH12 Pro pack more than 1min Turbo under normal conditions or is it just a few seconds?
@@Lee-lb9qh If it runs more than 1 minute in turbo then it really is better. But if she doesn't even manage 10 seconds like some other Nitecores, then she's just different.
USB-C is personal taste. I like my Olights with MCC better than the ones with USB-C. But yes, USB-C is usually easier.
You guys on here complain about everything. Nothing is perfect, if this light doesnt work for what you need then dont buy it its that simple. Nitecore has plenty other options. But with that being said i ordered this light and cant wait to get it. I also have the p23i, mh12se, and just ordered the srt7i. Its nice to have a rotation
Which is brightest flashlight offered by nitecore ?
The TM20K! 20,000 lumens!
@@NitecoreStore how is the light throw?
@@Hexa8there is a rather new service called "google", you might want to try it
A big jump from 300 lumens to 1200 lumens. I really wish there was something in between like say 600-700 lumens until it reaches 1200’lumens.
Checkout the SRT7i, it has a tactical switch that you can gradually go up and down in lumens as you twist
@@NitecoreStore Hi you know if is any cross compatibility tail caps between models? Y really want a pedal button tail cap for my MH12V2 (for strobe ready use in tactical mode)
How much does it cost?
$89.95 at nitecorestore.com !
Ordered mine 1.5 weeks ago, eta Sept.
Not impressed with the way you access ultra low!
Like that they copied OLights proximity sensor, can you override it like OLights??
And battery/light level indicators.
Useful.
Yes, you can override the proximity sensor! Could have gone into more detail there but the sensor activates on both high and turbo settings and can be deactivated by pressing the side switch once it steps down!
The ultralow access is definitely annoying but that's just because they didn't want to implement it in the main mode group, which I understand to some degree but they also don't have a dual tube design so the sideswitch is not powered when the tailswitch is off which does have it's upsides, mainly eliminating parasitical drain.
According to the manual, the sensor is automatically activated when the light is turned on. Therefore the TURBO/Hight will step down if you block the beam at a close distance. However, you can force it to step up again by tapping the mode button. The light will deactivate the sensor and allow the TURBO/High to stay on in this session until you turn off the light. Then the sensor will be enabled again the next time you use the light. I believe this implementation works quite intuitively considering all the usage scenarios.
謝謝分享
forgot to add.... MH25 Pro is 31 seconds of turbo then steps down.
Does it have mechanical lock out?
Yes. Loosen the tail cap for 1/2 turn. It works for most lights with tail cap switches.
The tint looks green is that common with this light, anyone owners care to say?
yes, the UHi40 LED has a pretty green tent, this is less noticeable at its higher outputs, but Nitecore did fix this with their newer line of UHis with the UHi20 LED in the MT2A Pro
I made a mistake ordering one on Ebay, after a full month it still has not arrived from Hong Kong. Asking for a refund, should have bought directly from Nitecore.
I bought my SE on the Joom App with a huge discount
I need to see the holster. If it has velcro, I won't buy it. The holsters on the MH12 series are the best.
Yes, it has velcro.
@infernality Thank you for the update. I won't buy this flashlight unless a better holster is available.
@@bige7322 I don’t see any problem to use velcro holster. Just ordered MH12 Pro.
Such an Olight Baton from Nitecore.
Design certainly is yea but the led will put any olight to shame and most other lights for that matter
Thats why i prefer mh12s, ive 2 of it.. but i using p10i and p20i the most..
Can’t really tail stand.
What a way to f*** up the UI.
If y’all make this exact flashlight with the thrunite tn12 pro UI it would of been game over
This is not a tactical flashlight for edc, if I need to acces turbo in daily mode in a sketchy moment I have to press the tail cap and the 3 times the side switch??????
And if I’m in the tactical mode and I need to use for edc I need to come down from 3300 lumens???? Like who the F thinks that’s useful??
I Hate rubber boots covering ports. I've had 3 die because water got in and the boot was lost. Ger away from that design
Y'all need to start specifying your step down times instead of just listing 30 min on turbo Olight is up front about it why can't y'all be? You make great lights so just publish the numbers, it comes off as shady.
This was SUPER annoying due to the continual use of the word "SUPER". Plus the body is "KNURLED" not "TEXTURED".
I wish it had MAGNETIC TAIL
Yeah Yeah, all good and dandy until you find out it has a 100 yard range. 😿
552yards
@@stefanp5261 that is WAY BETTER, still that flood is going to be problematic in not ideal weather.
I had a "small" flashlight before, it was okay until some fog came in, HOLY WOW.
Nothing but WHITE, so I am a nitecore "long throw" guy now.
He does nothing to expressed disdain for the use of nonstandard batteries. Boo
I hear you, I could've expressed it more, but with this new battery, the future for possibly longer runtimes and max lumen outputs is a lot brighter.
huh? 21700 has been around for a while already
Yes but it has 5300 mAh as oppose to 5000 mAh, which is new and gives it more runtime@@glrage
Новый , но к сожалению не удачный .
So it is confirmed that it has a huge hotspot just like SFT70 but more efficient I guess....
Exactly, the hot spot is more uniform and very round while still being very efficient!
