I absolutely love the detail of .EXE's player icon smiling at you in the original when you're winning as if to say, "keep going, it's not over yet." BF's does the exact same thing here. The general unease in this song coupled with its other small details is why I love it so much.
Fun Fact: All of Not So Faker Sonic’s animations are different animations from different mods. His left is HD, Up is the one where all characters are replaced with Sonic Characters, his right is TGT Sonic, and his down is the average EXE/Faker Sonic down.

I imagine this as an AU where sonic was born more akin to the appearance of EXE and he soon runs into BF who he wanted to hang out with but, at the same time, he had his guard up as sonic knew that there was something about BF that was much more different than other people.
