and everyone, this was the start of something glorious still sad to know that 3.0 got cancelled, but it was also for the best and i wish the directors, artists, musicians, and everyone who contributed in the mod all the best i still like to watch this video a few more times bc it's already so nostalgic
Sonic.exe is a creepypasta I've grown up with. Since I was 8 he TERRIFIED me to the point I couldn't sleep without thinking about him for over a year. Now I admit he scares me a little bit but not nearly as much as before, it's a mix of fear and appreciation that I've got right now. And honestly this mod represents him perfectly and brings amazing music as well. It's one of my favorite mods and will definitely download it.
I like how creepypastas are being brought back but not as horror stories, but rather just marks from the internet to be shown for next generations It really hits the age when you realize there is a generation that played friday night funkin but never heard of Sonic Exe, Ben Drowned, etc

Finally. Some good mods with great gimmicks AND no excess of Jacks. Seeing the full picture of "modern" FNF mods, this chart is wonderful, and the quality in general is top tier.
Yes, having 4 lanes is limited for a map; but that isn't an excesive amount of notes, neither of Jacks. It's still a bit heavy on charting, yeah. But have you seen QT? It has a cool concept, art and music, but the map itself I find it unbearable. Also why link to your own video instead of marking this one? Shame pal.
@@miaroa6397 I don't see it as a problem. I just don't think the "hard mods" should be just that; as I play other games, I've seen a decent amount of maps with a chart kind of unfair, or just spammy. And I understand ppl find it fun, I just think they are only for showing off or catch offguard someone, not to just flood it with them and call it a day. I just personally think the actual picture is getting annoying, and many hard mods (as I said) don't want to try and be hard for difficulty, only for "hit you keyboard and let's see if ya do it" Again,I get your point and I understand it. It's just a bit of a pick I have with them, originality. Or true difficulty. Not just spam a lot of keys randomly and yeah, that's the level enjoy :).

The Endless sonic Is a reference to a piracy message in sonic CD showing repeating picture of the sonic from Endless with the same face but more creepy and a Japanese message appears over the repeating picture and if you go to translated into English it would say "endless fun Sega enterprises signed Monzn" Monzn means devil btw this is a to get a pirty to doing how thery do and sonic CD does have a sound test and if you put 12 25 like in the mod you get the picture and In the background of the picture it plays a super super creepy song wich is a boss theme for some of the bosses in the game.
This looks like an amazing mod. Has great lore and references to the ROM Hack. The funny little infinite fun reference is amazing, and plays the part of 'unwellness in emotion and not just terror' well. The whole mod is great, from the death animation, codes, songs, everything is just *chef kiss* so g o o d. sad I can't play it (chrome book gang where u at) but amazing nevertheless.
Just for people who do not know: - The second song is about another creepypasta similar to Sonic.Exe, called SONIC EXECUTED. - The third music is about a official creepy easter egg on official the game of the franchise: Sonic CD EDIT: The second one is actually not Executed but SONIC.EXE PC PORT I guess? they really look alike with the scar on the chest so I'm sorry.
The devs confirmed on Twitter that the memes are just placeholders for future updates to the game, so there’s a chance they might have some lore reference in a future update.
The too slow song is the best song in the mod because it captures everything sonic.exe is about: how truly terrifying he is with the arrow animations, how the song’s tempo can practically change on a dime, the unpredictability of sonic.exe with the random jumpscare and static in the middle of the song, and how much of a presence he brings with his first cutscene
With the direction these FnF mods are going, I’m looking forward to seeing a Lavender Town, White Hand or Buried Alive Mod one of these days. Maybe even Lost Silver. Bring out all the classics

Yeah, the "fun is endless" was just gonna be a funny easter egg that developers put in, but the problem is... The theme song was the last boss battle. So americans thought like they should make the theme spooky af, idk im not american.

Honestly the most impressive thing about this mod in my opinion is that they PERFECTLY matched the tone of the original creepypasta: initially scary and creepy, but also so incredibly goofy and overdone in a good way. The fact that they brought the sillier aspect of Sonic.exe into the mod is what makes it so great.
One thing i love about this is "Sonic" will resort to cheating to win. He uses jumpscares to get you to mess up and turns the screen to static to make it harder to see. Love the creativity here

Fnf really came at an important time in my life. As cliche as that sounds, mad props to the creators and fandom for making some genuinely stunning art.
I think Endless is my favorite FNF battle ever, just the song, the vocals, the rhythm, and of course the goofy lookin Majin Sonic. It definitely retains an unsettling atmosphere, but dagummit is it an epic battle.

Fnf Vs Sonic.Exe is the best mod of all Fnf ever created and without any rival, it had to be said and it was said, and I don't want to see anyone give in otherwise :)
This mod does everything certain nostalgic mods seem to lack (Danganronpa mod, Im looking at you), taking the original work, and making something new out of it, creating further enjoyment out of a long forgotten idea. It takes songs like the drowning theme and run, and makes them into their new thing. I especially love how they turned drowning into an escalating fight against a looming threat, getting faster and faster until the end. It also helps sonic.exe's voice isn't made into an instrument, but is instead the voice given form, much like Tricky and Slender do. Overall, a really well done mod, blowing my expectations out of the water, and onto the moon!
This version of the mod is so nostalgic to me because I remember when this mod came out. I was in a huge sonic.exe phase and then this came out and fueled it for another year.
Sonic.Exe doesn't have set lore, the original creepypasta simply made him exist without explanation everything after that was added by someone else, an endlessly branching path of parodies, sequels, and people trying to make sense of it all

One figured out how to live beyond your control, and the pure thought of that will bring any video game character to insanity, and Sonic is no different. He goes on a killing spree to make sure he is the ONLY Sonic left alive, so he can destroy the game world and free all the Sonics. A different Sonic is revived and sees the bloodbath, and takes action! And the Sonic.exe was slain, but not before killing all of Sonic’s friends in front of him. Then, Sonic.exe is revived and you have to do ALL that again as a different character.
I already love this mod just because of that beginning cutsene in the week Sonic.exe planting a stake with tails' head on it into the ground and Boyfriend then proceeding to do what he usually does when challenging literally anyone, which is throw a mic in their direction and then Sonic.exe just turns around like "hUh" is already enough for me to like the mod cuz that's just hilarious

This looks like an amazing mod. Has great lore and references to the ROM Hack. The funny little infinite fun reference is amazing, and plays the part of 'unwellness in emotion and not just terror' well. The whole mod is great, from the death animation, codes, songs, everything is just *chef kiss* so g o o d. sad I can't play it (chrome book gang where u at) but amazing nevertheless.

The too slow song is the best song in the mod because it captures everything sonic.exe is about: how truly terrifying he is with the arrow animations, how the song’s tempo can practically change on a dime, the unpredictability of sonic.exe with the random jumpscare and static in the middle of the song, and how much of a presence he brings with his first cutscene

This mod is the only interpretation i have seen that understands the fact that "the creppy screen of Sonic CD" was just a joke that accidentally became scary because of the fact that the boss music on american's Sonic CD is Unnecessarily horrifing while japanese (the original version) is a joking Theme with laugth and some funk

Yeah, the "fun is endless" was just gonna be a funny easter egg that developers put in, but the problem is... The theme song was the last boss battle. So americans thought like they should make the theme spooky af, idk im not american.
This gives me heavy nostalgia, me as a 8 year old being scared of this creepypasta back then was scary and since I couldn’t sleep for so long after seeing this creepypasta. But since this mod came out, I have so much nostalgia now, brings back memories man😋

Honestly the most impressive thing about this mod in my opinion is that they PERFECTLY matched the tone of the original creepypasta: initially scary and creepy, but also so incredibly goofy and overdone in a good way. The fact that they brought the sillier aspect of Sonic.exe into the mod is what makes it so great.

I find that an issue seeing as how the original creepypasta is horrendously terrible
One thing i love about this is "Sonic" will resort to cheating to win. He uses jumpscares to get you to mess up and turns the screen to static to make it harder to see. Love the creativity here

I think Endless is my favorite FNF battle ever, just the song, the vocals, the rhythm, and of course the goofy lookin Majin Sonic. It definitely retains an unsettling atmosphere, but dagummit is it an epic battle.

Fnf Vs Sonic.Exe is the best mod of all Fnf ever created and without any rival, it had to be said and it was said, and I don't want to see anyone give in otherwise :)
This mod does everything certain nostalgic mods seem to lack (Danganronpa mod, Im looking at you), taking the original work, and making something new out of it, creating further enjoyment out of a long forgotten idea. It takes songs like the drowning theme and run, and makes them into their new thing. I especially love how they turned drowning into an escalating fight against a looming threat, getting faster and faster until the end. It also helps sonic.exe's voice isn't made into an instrument, but is instead the voice given form, much like Tricky and Slender do. Overall, a really well done mod, blowing my expectations out of the water, and onto the moon!

Sonic.Exe doesn't have set lore, the original creepypasta simply made him exist without explanation everything after that was added by someone else, an endlessly branching path of parodies, sequels, and people trying to make sense of it all

One figured out how to live beyond your control, and the pure thought of that will bring any video game character to insanity, and Sonic is no different. He goes on a killing spree to make sure he is the ONLY Sonic left alive, so he can destroy the game world and free all the Sonics. A different Sonic is revived and sees the bloodbath, and takes action! And the Sonic.exe was slain, but not before killing all of Sonic’s friends in front of him. Then, Sonic.exe is revived and you have to do ALL that again as a different character.
