Thanks for the short and straightforward video. I recently cleaned my sensor on my 2011 Nissan Altima with MAF sensor cleaner and put it back in. The check engine light went away, but the car only drove a little less rough from a stopped position to about 15 mph. The transmission shifting at low gears/speeds sounds really rough. I have to ease into acceleration or it will get very rough.
So now I'm replacing the sensor with a new one (as well as the air filter) for the same reasons pointed out in this video in hopes that (in my case) that the car runs better. If not, I'll let a mechanic troubleshoot it.

What if the check engine light doesn’t go away? Is something else wrong?

Did you disconnect the battery before replacing? Did you need to reset computer after replacing?

What if the screws are striped

Try to get them out with a stripped screw remover bit, pliers or a flat head might get it out. Once you have it out, take it to a hardware store and get a screw of similar size. Hope this helps, thanks for watching! 👍

Yeah, I had some trouble with it too, like it didn't unlock it all the way. Try pushing down then squeeze the tab and that may help clear it fully. Hope this helps, thanks for watching 🙂

No, you don't have to disconnect the battery or reset the computer for this procedure. Thanks for watching! 👍
