Very slick how they've integrated aspects of their design heritage from cameras into a watch, but still feel unsure about that 2 o'clock pusher for setting the date... Feels like a forced compromise as a result of the novel route they've taken for the crown pusher, rather than making much sense on it's own. Fun complications though.

Thanks for sharing. I really like the patented crown pusher. For me the Date pusher is OK however on the L2 they introduced a screw crown for changing the GMT disc - for that I would have prefered a pusher to make it more in line with their design idea of pushers 😅. But overall for a first try on watches I think Leica did a great job. excited to see how they will develop them further.

I paid around 50$ for delivery and watch arrive and need to pay extra 50$. The watch is only cost around 300$. They need to sort out how DHL take 50$ and then FedEx delivery to door step take another 50$. Can't find the logic of this at all.

I rarely mention the price in my videos. However there is a link to the watches and the price has been mentioned in the comments. 9500€ for the L1 and 13500€ for the L2

I'm sure it's a very nice watch. My Casio costs $50 and has many more functions. Like many things in the world most of the price is paying for bragging rights for a brand name, an that's ok a lot of people are into that sort of stuff.

I really don't see the point of the pusher crown system. The traditional LeCoultre keyless system seems just better in any regards. I mean, It's a hand-wound small seconds watch with a 14mm case thickness and 5 ATM of water resistance. It's a lot of tech to make the watch worse.
