Just ordered this kit this morning here in the UK.
This ship caught my eye outwith the normal, because of the type of vessel she was and the amount of detail in her, obviously with the option to ad more.

Hello my friend!!! In 4K i have only the unboxing, the mid session and the making of. It is very hard to edit the 4K , to make and upload a 4K video it takes me 3 days. If i did every video in 4K i could not have 2 videos per week, only one.

Welcome aboard!!! You will have to wait 6-7 months because i have to finish the Titanic and after that the Endeavour.

Looking forward to it John I always enjoy to see you building master pieces. I just finished second layer planking on the hull of the Beagle with some mistakes but as you say wood is forgiving. I did had many problems in getting the second layer planking properly glued on the first layer and I don't understand what is wrong. is it the glue?? (zap-a-gap medium CA ).
Thank you very much Peter!!! Try using the thin type that runs like water. It's much better and glues in a matter of seconds.
lol except the rope ladders of course lol i put it off in my model and now i regret it a bit, cause im doing the ropes now with most the rigging up lol was to lazy to do it earlier and now i have to be extra careful as i finish it :) never skip this process and put it off till later haha

I just ordered this model this morning. Am planning on building it when I finish the Trinidad in around another 4 or 5 months (I work slowly 🐌 🐌) will follow along with you when you build it after Endeavour? Or Prince Eugen?
Hi Greg! I will begin La Candelaria after the Endeavour, i estimate around November or December, it is too early to know exactly when.
I bought this model kit a few days ago.
And in about a year we will build it together if you haven't finished it yet :)

I have a friend that shares you passion for building models. He makes ww2 tanks and planes. Btw i think i saw what the small circles (that you said that you have no idea about) are for - stern decoration (below the windows) ? Hope i am right :D

Hi John, I have watched your video on the San Juan gun ports several times. I've tried to follow along each time but each time I
become confused. So I have relied on your 20 years experience and have come up with a plan. I intend to place the gun ports
directly below the 3 strips in a straight line then using that to locate the ports above them and below them keeping both lines
straight. Since the top row of ports are prefixed I will adjust the ports on that level with them. My question is: do you think this
work? All of the ports should be in the white wood area. Thanks for your time you took to read this and consider my solution.

Hi Bill!!! Yes it will work, the only problem you might encounter is that you will probably need on some gun ports to drill at the lower part of the internal support. Not a serious problem. Try not have the internal support at least from the middle and up of the gun ports. If you happen to miss it then you will have to improvise to make the cannon stay.

Pourquoi commandez-sur Amazon, plutôt directement su OcCre ? La qualité est différente ?
Il n’y a pas de kit de LEDs et de peinture sur ce modèle ?
Quel est votre ressenti de cette maquette au vue du déballage ?

I think that it will cost you a bit more. The kit comes at 219 euros that's around 240 $. I do not know the prices over to the States, so if you count the shipping cost i imagine you will be around 300 $. I think with 70 - 100 $ you can have the basic tools that you need.
