Watched quite a few videos of how to set these bits up, many take ages with lot of waffle, this one shows how to set it up quick and simple as well as explaining about wood thickness to use. Simple and easy no waffle
Thanks so much for the inspiration & explanation. First video of many I watched that actually showed how to make the cut on both sides of the board. No I have the confidence to try it on a Beads of Courage box.
Is it possible to make a video on adjusting the router for height and depth of 8, 12 and 16 sided bits as well as the 6 sided.? I am having trouble getting a nice sharp edge on the 12 sided.. can I use the same method of straight edge for all bits?? thanks in advance.
It seems the 12 sided is backwards to the 6 sided.. How would I measure the bit?would I adjust the fence first & then the router height? I think I have the rest figured out. thanks John

By adjusting the height and depth of cut you can create a smooth cut for the 12 sides as you did the 6 sides.
