    Nice explanation. By chance you have a video link for the wine caddy. I'm trying to do something similar to it but for a termo and mate. I'm trying to figurate how To do the bottom.

      If I recall, I simply cut a 1/4 x 1/4” groove along the lower edge of all the parts. Set the parts on top of your 1/4” plywood, trace the inside, and add 1/4” all the way around to fit the bottom.

    Would like to make a eight sided tray with tapered stays. Do you have any help?

      @@russellf4200 cut the tapers first, then just use the Birds Mouth bit as shown. The trick is figuring out the angles. Experiment with a couple scrap parts to figure it out. But it is not difficult. Feel free to email me at ralph@woodcademy.com if you need more info
