I bet the spider was just as surprised as you.
Too funny 😂
lol
PUMPKIN BLOWMOLD FIX IDEA ALERT: buy black hot glue(yes they sell colored hot glue sticks-I know Michael's arts and crafts does) and follow the crack-it will seal it plus give it an extra creepy vibe and no one will notice. 😊
Your reaction was A+ and about how I’d be except louder. Lol The photo is amazing. Congrats on the military papers. Wow. More history behind the paper. Thank you ☺️ 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇸‼️ ~ Texas
That was wonderful! Thanks Taco Stacks for giving Renee a call! Amazing first time finds and the scary spider was hilarious! 😂
Better a spider than a mouse in my opinion! Thanks for sharing your finds with all of us!
Awww... poor pumpkin. Get some black marking pen and make it a rad scar on his face, with stiches and stuff.
You should get some Bondic light activated polymer to repair the pumpkin. You squeeze it on like superglue and use a small UV light on the back end of the tube to harden the polymer. Didn't look like any pieces were missing. Ebay or Amazon have it.
Great idea. It surely worth a try.
I can't believe that you don't have 100k subscribers yet! If anyone watched any one of your videos, they'd be hooked! Keep em coming!
I'm so glad @TacoStacks let you know about these boxes!! I was yelling at my screen for him to pick up the items for you!! lol
Here’s an idea for the cracks on the pumpkin, pretend they are scars and add stitch marks along the length of the scars. Maybe it will look more intentional then. 🤷🏻♀️
🕷 Itsy bitsy spider, only wanted out, crawled back to hiding when it heard you shout! Hahaha 🤣. Great reaction, glad you didn't edit it out. Nice amount of history in those boxes.👍👍
Spider didn't survive the crash of the books on him, poor guy.
Thanks for saving the military history. I have had MANY members of my family serve and am so proud of them. With so many things on computers now, we are losing the written histories. Kudos to you, and thanks for sparing the spider! Funny that someone who loves Halloween is scared of spiders🤣
How nice that you share the history of these military persons. Wonderful history.
Ha ha ha, I jumped when you squealed, so funny. Great save of this wonderful history.
Interesting and highly collectible military items. The DC- 3 was the "mule" of USAF during WW II, and a B- 29 ("Enola Gay") dropped the first atomic bomb over Japan in 1945. Don´t be afraid of spiders, Renée ! :-)) Greets from GER, U.
The spider jump-scare tactic is sure to be a favorite at old barn sales and auction previews in upcoming videos.
That's going to make a great Miss Moose sound clip "ohhhhhh, there's a spider" 😂🤣
Loved the vintage frames 🥰 and great find with the military history/service papers 👍 thanks Renee
The surprise made me laugh!! Thanks! The military stuff is so interesting.
Great military finds. Anything history with military is awesome!!
Neat to find just before Veterans Day . Reminds us all two thank all veterans for their service
If the books with the colored pics of planes aren't too valuable, they'd look so cute framed in a boys room!
Oh my, that was funny! I have a healthy respect for spiders but I'm not afraid of them. I am sensitive to some of their bites, bugs too, but I don't know which ones. I just avoid them! It was great of Taco to let you know about the boxs of military papers! I know how much you like thae like of stuff. Take the pumpkin and paint stitches around the cracks. That would be more Halloween!
I thought that about the pumpkin head.👍🏼
Amazing finds in the trash!! So happy you found them!!! Great video, thank you 😊
That framed photo was wonderful. I have a bunch hanging on my dining room walls.
First Aid: Make pumpkins crack a surgery incision with stitches. Colored tape and glue would be fantastic. 🤗💕🦋
Renee I was sitting here happily watching but as soon as I saw the beast I ran off the sofa I had every sympathy for you eight legs or not nothing ran as fast as me I got the full reaction chicken skin and goose bumps oh lord I don't know how you came back and sat down thank you for the laugh 😂 I always watch and fine your videos very interesting thanks again bless you from jiggz 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 😍
As for Casualty Notification, the military still collects the info from the Servicemember. It's very detailed on who to notify as well as who NOT to notify (in cases of an elderly parent with a bad heart). This is a great find! And I think spiders are cool!
Wow, you made me jump 🤣 when you saw the spider. I would have done the same thing.
Well i was getting a little sleepy its late and rainy ...then your suprise visitor in the box and your greeting him gave me a start and a chuckle lol...well we need something keep our blood pumpin..glad you saved that stuff very interesting.
What a terrific find of military aviation history. And found by a person who appreciates it! Thanks for sharing. BTW a Banner Target is just a a big piece of material (some kind of cloth / plastic / not sure) towed behind one airplane (on a LONG cable) as a target for the planes that are practicing their shooting.
This was a fun video.🕷 I laughed so hard! I don't like spiders either. Have a good day. 🍂🍂😊😊😊
Nice save of the military history.
Saving bits and pieces of history! Hope it rubs off and others do the same thing..
Wow! Great finds, Renee! That Bomber Command manual is awesome! That’s British, FYI. Would love to see more of that!
Wow, I flinched! Great stuff!
On the blow mold use E6000. Get it in the clear form. You can pick it up at any store, even Dollar General. Apply it right on where the crack is and let dry. Reapply if necessary, I own literally hundreds of blow molds and use this when I rescue some.
Excellent glue - after you glue it, hold the crack together with some regular cellophane tape for 24 hours 'til the E6000 sets. It is extraordinary stuff!
What a cool find!! I know you'll enjoy going thru all that. 💕💕
Hi Renee. OhMyGod. That was a surprise to see your face when you saw that spider. I could not stop laughing. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Renee, you are an awesome picker; to find such good stuff in the trash. God Bless you Renee. I hope the spider got away. Take care. Maria. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍❤️❤️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕷️🕷️🕷️🕷️🕷️🕷️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕷️🕷️🕷️🕸️🕸️🕷️🕷️🕸️🕸️
Quite possibly the most exciting episode I've seen yet! That spider 🕷 made the video! Hopefully you find their flight jackets!
Your big pumpkin just has a few extra scars!
What you really want to find is an original combat log book - that is real history.
Loved all your finds. I was so thrilled for you when you found that photo then all that military ephemera ! WOW!!! But the cherry on top was that spider. I don't mind spiders too much I don't want them in my home. But I do enjoy watching them weave their Webb's and catching all those nasty flying and jumping bugs. I hate bugs. And brown recluse. Grass hoppers and crickets are the crud out of me. My goodness when we bought a place in Mindenmines, Missouri they had the nastiest bug I had ever seen. They looked like a cricket and a spider bred. And they were bigger than a cricket. And when they died they smelled like a dead mouse. They freaked me out. 😱One time I was in my long nighty and one crawled in. I did not know it. I sat on it I about died.😳 I will probably have nightmares now. 😂❤️💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌞✌️👶
Those frames were beautiful
Renee , that was just funny. My Renee is scared of spiders too!!!!
EEEEEK a spider lol, I don't like em either. 🕸🕷nice airplane paper ephemera, most will sell good on your flea market table. Start saving for next year season.
Laughing at the scare ....sorry...but at the same time you are jumping my dog is jumping on a Wolf spider.....an occurrence in Florida sadly .....it's fight or flight here.... Very cool finds!
I don't usually get that scared over spiders, I just wasn't ready for him to be right there!
Oh no! Wolf spiders are deadly up here in PA. Hope your pooch is ok
@@samanthab1923 He's ok...thanks for asking...the spider not so much.. :)
vaca4643 Good one 😘🐶
Glad you could save the items from the trash great score hope there will be more good trash picking interesting content thanks for sharing take care God bless 🙏🙏
Hi Rene you might be able to repair the pumpkin. He was a cool find anyway. unbelievable you got a quilt. Why did you not take the rack? Great score on pictures. What a day for you. And the paper work was the best. Onward!
Woohoo! A spider, haha I would have thrown everything. You held it together so well. Lol. Everything that you saved is so incredibly interesting. Hope you research these two gentlemen. Would so be interested in their lives.
Get creative with the pumpkin like paint stitches across the cracked area. Just a thought. Great finds today.
Yes! Stitches make him scary! 🎃
Kept your composure with the spider pretty good, box would of gone across the room with me! Interesting trash pick!
Maybe add some bling to the pumpkin…like hot glue some fake fall leaves on the cracks with one of those vintage hats? Finish with a clear coat of spray paint with glitter in it. Great anthropomorphic craft project! Outline the crack, add a hat and call it Harry Potter Pumpkin lol. Have fun!!
Steampunkin’!🎃⚙️🎩🧡
Renee that was so cute at the end I am the wife of retired marine and retired son from army who passed way Veterans Day 2017 and grandmother to active army sgt to be next month and my parents were both in Canadian army thanks for your kinds words
The spider..🤣😂🤣
That would have been my reaction, too!!! Haha. Yikes!
I have a blow mold like that with a crack in it, not as pronounced though. And when it's lit up in the dark it's not even noticable. Maybe use an orange light bulb to help hide it more.
That's a great idea. He was too good to leave behind. Even in his less than stellar state 🎃
Great "paper" video. I see great T-Shirt fronts...😁
If you have to toss any of the airplane ephemera, I’d be interested in picking them up for you, as I have a friend who collects anything airplane related. He would cherish them. And not sell them. I live in Jersey. Just holler.
Yes, Taco did the right thing!
WOW! What a great haul. I hope you do one of your "Ken Burns" type videos on this haul.
I scream and run when I see spiders. I am afraid of them too. Especially the big one. 😬😱
Hello Renee. Thanks for the kind words to are military men and women who have served. And thank you for saving the history from the trash. If you don’t mind if you come across some really interesting things can you let us know ? I’m just really interested in finding out more. That picture you found is amazing. What a beautiful family. And I jumped to when you said spider 🕷 . I’m afraid of them . I never had been until one night I got woken up by one falling on my back . It was a very large wolf spider. So yes I don’t like them . Take care . 🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🥰🥰🥰☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🥰💯💯💯
Will do Verette! If more items are put out at the house, I'll be sure to show them! This lot was mostly manuals, books, a few log books, and some random Cub Scout booklets. Yikes, a spider on your back... no thanks!
Collectors will want the airplane memberbilia. Great find.
Intsy wintsy 🕷 you made me jump Renee hysterical !!!! 🕸️ ahhhhhh....
Please tell me you took the beautiful stand that held the quilt! Awesome finds!
You can decorate the cracked part of your pumpkin with stitches, like Frankenstein stitches. Just draw them on with a sharpie or black marker. ✌🏼❤️
A good scare in spooky season, usally brings three or 4 treats as well 💜
I wonder if I knew the Vietnam, Desert Storm vet? There were 500 people in my graduating class and 90% were military brats. The guys joined up so they could choose their career path. Some got Presidential appointments to Annapolis.
The Era we graduated in was volatile. I think it was as bad or worse than it is now. Social media didn't exist. Social media, except for You Tube doesn't exist in my house. Main Stream anything doesn't exist either. I don't hear or see anything current. I've lost 4 coworkers to Covid and am still dealing with people who think it is a hoax.
Yea, Ireland!! Almost %100 vaccinated.
Poor spider. He was getting all warm. At my house he would have been a mass casualty. Great video Renee. I still want to see you in that Royal blue silk dress and jacket. Rock on!
PEACE, LOVE, BAN THE BOMB!
Great video!🕷
LOL, I have the same reaction with spiders!
Great finds! Always interesting!
One persons junk is another persons treasure! Watch out for spiders tho!
That was a big pumpkin head.Someone down the road from me carved a cats face into a pumpkin shaped like the one you found. So sweet.
Love the reaction to the spider. I have an unsual fear of spiders
The quilt was on a quilt rack.
Great paper😁🇺🇸😁
I may have repeatedly watch the 'incident' like 10 times now lol, good content if i do say so myself hahaha.
Haha, it is funny to re-watch!
Just repair the blow mold. Easy with all the repairing materials now. It may not still be perfect to sell, but perfect for you to use.
Blow mold: you could clear tape it from the inside if for your own lawn.
Old pilots art quite valuable
If you duck tape the blow mold it will look better and protect it from further cracking. It is beautiful, even cracked. He’s Crack Head Pumpkin! 😵🎃
really fascinating stuff!
When you pulled out the plane pamphlet Renee and showed the one of the B-29 ( Superfortress) that was the type of plane my Dad flew in in WWII. He was skinny so he could fit and was a ' ball turrent gunner ' (That glass ball under the plane) I never asked him about that but sitting there outside the plane and seeing everything come at you ( Planes or flak )... THAT had to be very un-nerving.
And as someone else has mentioned.... I'll bet some Superglue would make those cracks look smaller and keep it together. Like you said... it is going on your porch so what's the difference if it is cracked. Especially if it lights up.
Lol hate spiders too
any paperwork you can't sell, donate to an air museum.
I’m so afraid of spiders, what is it about spiders that are so terrifying anyway jeez
Oh, I jumped with you..I always worry about them coming out in my car while I'm driving....yikes Usually have a can of spray to treat the box or bags, also just drop it if you can or shake it around to encourage them to leave their hiding place.
Too funny…. SPIDER 🕷!
Aircraft... anything on the Ford Tri-Motor?
You can contact EAA museum in Oshkosh, WI, every year in August they have thousands of people from all over the world bring old aircraft in. I think the spider scared me as much as you, good way to jump start your heart ❤
Hi love your history chats, I am thinking you could fix Jacks face and make it look like stiches after its meant to be scary. keep up the good work saving the past.
No one puts stuff out in my town.
Having fun with paper! Sorry about the spider incident. 🥺
Great Video Renee 👏👏💕💕🇦🇺🇦🇺
My dad was in RAF Bomber Command and actually dropped bombs on Germany as a Lancaster navigator. I’m researching and very interested in the 1945 book you found if you have a mind to sell it. On the other hand, I jumped when you found the spider as they are my number one phobia. My heart was racing for you Lol.
First to watch, yeppppppy!! Renee, why didn’t you take the quilt holder that the quilt was laying on? 😯 Also will you please include your stores Etsy and EBay in the descriptions please. Make it easier for us old folk to find, please.
She won't share her ebay store name. Her Etsy shop link is up top I believe, I the 'about' tab.
@@just.j5302 Thank you
My first thought with the pumpkin was to do rough "stitches" like it had been slashed... I am always excited when you are ...
#thatwouldlookgoodonashirt
Don't panic...that spider will gobble up any ants you may have brought home! Perhaps the younger generation of the family have no interest in that era...not relating to it. Same with many other vintage items, such as radios, 78 records, old pottery and other collectables...we seem to live in an age of the minimalists! I'm glad I have that vintage tech museum I have been donating parts of my accumulations to!
I'm guessing the paper wasn't of interest to the family but am hoping that they keep personal items!
@@PaperandMoose As this aging situation faces me, and no family left...I will be facing of where all my history will end up!!
Poor spider….
Put a straw hat on pumpkin to cover crack. cute.
Can't you fix the pumpkin with caulk? If you want to keep it?
