Thank you guys so much for watching and following!
Continue to comment, we really appreciate all you have to say.
Who cares if they’re authentic. If they’re good they’re good.
It’s not that people don’t care but why call them authentic Mexican food when they aren’t. I agree if it’s good it’s good but it’s not authentic.
@@friends4evrrwell said.
Whyt tacos
Mexicans care just cuz white people don't season their food we don't want any part of that don't put you tacos on us.
Those are better than authentic if you ask me.
Mexican here (born and raised and living here) those look tasty… but please just leave us out of any argument, make your tacos the way you want, if you want “real authentic Mexican tacos”….. come to México 🤷🏻♂️
Nigga I made REAL BIRRIA!! FROM SCRATCH!! I made the chili oil as well........2 TIMES!! You don't have to be Mexican to make Authentic Mexican food.
Shit, go to a Soul Food restaurant of your choice........IT AINT BLACK FOLKS BACK THERE COOKING.......IT MEXICANS!!! Save that shit bruh.🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾
As a mexican I agree
Tf we gotta go to Mexico for? All you mfers live her now
Nah, get mexican over here.
The whole Mexican food deal is all overrated in my opinion. It’s all just the same ingredients in different forms. Soul/southern food blows that shit out of the water.
They aren't traditional tacos, but more like tex mex tacos. They look good.
Exactly
A step above Taco Bell 😂
tex mex is ass
Taco bell doesn't sell tacos lol
They are fucking tacos. Period.
People always thinking Texmex food is Mexican food.
i mean what’s the mex stand for in Texmex?
Man I love a good crunchy taco
Mannnnn, i make the same tacos for my students at school! 😂 TACO TUESDAY'S TRIPLE THREAT!!🌮🌮🌮
I think the beauty about food is the fact that you can make it anything you want ! You can add and change and replace ingredients to your preference and you can get influenced by other cultures recipes too
If WE make, it’s considered Mexican lol. Regardless of what’s in it haha. We invented tacos, we decide what goes in one
Man.....I went to my home girl house, and her pops was like, "You ever had a Mexican hot dog" I said "New lemme get one"
So they made hotdogs on the grill.....then cut up tomatoes and onions and served it to me.
A regular grilled hotdog with onions and tomatoes magically became a "Mexican" hotdog be he made it lol
@@mistahkalean6777Mexican spaghetti is just spaghetti with jalapeños, so... 🤷
Ok
Nah nah nah nah, cause THEN y'all ALWAYS in the comments saying 'Dis eesn't real Tacos de Mexico, Mexico is better' 😂😂
These are not authentic and 2 don't ever do that to spaghetti again🤣🤣I'm Mexican and italian@@slappy8941
Hellz yeah! Thats how my mom made them for the family 50 years ago. No fancy taco shell device but still the same. Moms gr. beef filling featured shredded carrots and potatos.
Tacos are tacos
Mac and cheese are Mac and cheese
Not exactly

Those are identical to Tex Mex tacos, which I would say is more American than Mexican.
Using the term "topping off" refers to the last item that goes on the taco.
You should give the name and address of the place to try their food.😊
There is Also Mexican Chinese food, and Mexican Fried Chicken. If a Mexican made it, it’s Mexican.
I'm "Mexican" and they sell "Tacos Dorados" in mexico, this is considered as "Mexican street food" in "Mexico", so yeah this still a taco, Mexican don't consider a "Taco Bell" real tacos because the is made by white people, but to me taco bell still a real taco, to me a taco is a folded tortilla with anything inside, so taco bell is that, a folded tortilla with meat
I will never get tired of crunchy tacos
Cilantro, cebolla, salsa. All a taco needs. But from a Mexican household, we call these American tacos and my mom still enjoys them so no hate here lol
Sometimes you don’t want real tacos, sometimes you want crunchy American tacos
I'm from South Texas. They are authentic.
Yes, authentic Tex Mex, NOT Mexican
Yes, Taco Bell didn't invent these. They were stolen from Mitla Cafe in San Bernardino, CA and Taco Bell popularized them.
So, no, not Mexican. They're Mexican-American. Call them Cali-Mex tacos.
@@mrxman581 So you're just going to ignore the history of Mitla Cafe?
@@mrxman581 the lady wasnt mexican american but an actual mexican immigrant born in Jalisco
All types of Tacos out there. I consider Ice Cream Tacos, real Tacos too.
My boy when people say that taco Tuesday this is what we think in America but u just stepped it all up vato now to get more tacos like this to the schools ❤
A taco is a tortilla with filling. Taco duro is a hard taco. I personally love potato tacos. My dad used to say the only rule to tacos is that you need a tortilla, flour or corn, hard or soft. You can also tell who didn't grow up in a mexican house cause my grandmother literally told me hija un taco de cornflakes when i was ill.
Not tacos ngl but u can call them Chicano Mexican tacos idc
The Flavor is what makes it ❤
That's what taco bell used to be in the 60s and 70s
look like taco bell with that cheese
Hardshell tacos were invented by Glenn Bell, who invented Taco Bell
He did this to make the assembly process easier. Remember watching a RUclips RUclips video years ago about old Mexican women trying Taco Bell for the first time and they were laughing at the hard shells
America is a melting pot. Live and let live❤
True, but they're not Mexican. Call them Cali-Mex tacos.
@@mrxman581Pretty sure this style of crunchy taco was created by Mexicans in the US. That still makes it Mexican because the people that created them were from Mexico. If a man from Nigeria moves to Kenya and starts to create new food which has some Kenyan influence, it (imo) is still Nigerian food, it just has some new ingredients and style changes but remains true to its origin
I still consider those just folded tostadas lol
Hahaha...that's closer to the truth.
Those like a bomb definitely Mexican-American style
Any day is a good day for tacos.
Homie these are traditional yes . People who say they’re not don’t know the different estillos
This the style of Tacos, where first seen in Riverside CA, not San Bernardino CA, and the original lady in Riverside she adds tomato’s, and yes Taco Bell stolen the idea from the restaurant in Riverside
mitla cafe
my great grandparents been making that style since the early 1900s El Paso
I heard about that Taco Bell still the idea from a lady and opened up across the street
If they are not made in Mexico as an authentic staple (cheddar cheese), then they are not considered Mexican authentic, but only authentic to where it was INVENTED.
Every inventor has his/her approach. Now in days it doesn’t matter if you were first to make it, it’s how good you make it.
Those look good by the way.
These aren't Mexican tacos, they're just tacos. No need to assign a country to them.
If they were first made on this side of the border these are considered American
Just the way mom taught us !!!born raised here. There perfect 🥰 💞 👌 😍 ❤️ ♥️ 🥰
If you eat it and said “I ate a taco “ , then it was a real taco
If a Mexican made them that's real enough for me 😂😂
🌸 I consider them gone after I eat them 😋 🌮 so delicious‼️
Crunchy tacos are don’t Mexican
You can definitely get crunchy/crispy tacos in Mexico. Like Tacos Dorados. The difference is the tortilla is usually fried after it's filled, so it's not quite as crunchy, but they're super tasty. I've had some delicious ones in Hermosillo with a potato filling.
They're don't Mexican?
@@bill6843Tacos dorados are different from crunchy tacos like this.
Are don’t tacos don’t don’t 😂
@@bill6843🤦♂️
Those tacos look better than Taco Bell
Don’t ever compare taco bell to actual Mexican tacos. Hard shells have nothing to do with our people. 🤦🏻♂️
>its the only taco place I know that puts ground beef on a crispy shell
My man, have you not heard of taco bell?
Ancient authentic Mayan Elote uses only the best mayo and fresh flaming hot Cheetos.
It's gonna sound crazy to non mexicans and even mexicans, but in my family, we would call those quesadillas. We dont use beef or shredded cheese though 😂
These tacos are 100% NOT authentic Mexican but this doesn't mean they aren't good
They are Authentic Mexican bc I grew up eating those at home 😂 it’s just hard crunchy tacos and not the typical taqueria Mexican tacos:)
It’s a taco, just not a Mexican taco, that’s Tex-Mex and there is nothing wrong with that. A good taco is a good taco gawdammit.
Looks good minus the avocado sauce and sour cream. Switch the American cheese for shredded cheddar and you've got something!
Its a style, it's Tex Mex style. Titos Tacos in LA does this, and people like them
At this point I don’t give a good Gahdamn if they are authentic! Those look fire 🔥
I wouldn’t in my worst nightmares knock those tacos back, but some Oaxaca cheese would be nice too. With some lime wedges.
If they made by mexican then yes ,
I had mexican chinese food yesterday.
No. It doesn't matter who makes them.
I'll take about 30 tacos 🌮 after a good drinking night 😂..
You answered your own question, American cheese? Of course they’re not real Mexican tacos but a lot of people like the Tex-mex style
Here in the north part of Mexico we have a variation called tacos dorados, where we make some soft tacos with potato mixed with pulled beef and then we fry them on a pan
Oh hell yeah... I'm ready to get my eat on.. Yes sir..
I’m sure they are very good but these are not Mexican. These are Taco Bell/Tex”Mex”…
Taco Bell ain't frying their shells goofy
ALL taco shells are deep fried. Use Google and educate yourself…
Signature ground beef 😂😂😂
Real mexican food made for americans.....That is how I would describe it
OBIEATS U OWNED ME A BEER
They look edible ngl
If they are made by Mexicans or Mexican Americans that adapted to the ingredients that they had available then, yeah. Mexican food has always made something good out of whatever. Are Tostitos chips authentic tortilla chips? No but, they make tostilocos with them in Mexico City. So fried corn tortillas with carne molida (ground beef), salsa, queso(cheese), lechuga (lettuce), and tomatoes sounds like Mexican food to me. And it's not just Tex-Mex because in Kansas City we love fried tacos too.
This debate isn't new its been around since they canceled Taco Bells Chihuahua for being racially insensitive 😒 😂
That's not processed American cheese. That's shredded cheddar cheese. American cheese wouldn't shred like that.
Did he say PaPitos 😂
They're just missing some pico de gallo, but they look fire!
Tito's tacos been doing that since the '70s except they don't put the guacamole or sour cream in the taco. You can find it on sepulveda and Washington place in West LA, Culver City to be exact. And I don't care these are tacos to me!
Tito's tacos are glorified Jack in the Box tacos. Sorry.
El patio in anaheim!
The hard shell chicken tacos are off the hook there.
Mexicans don't make tacos with just ground beef. So, no, it doesn't taste like a taco. This is Americanized. That doesn't mean it's not good. Just not Mexican.
Tacos are tacos....regardless if there Mexican or not
Gross. That fake processed American cheese on a taco is foul.
That’s shredded cheddar what are talking about lol American cheese does not come like that 😂😂😂
That’s definitely not American cheese. It’s definitely an American taco. I’d say it’s cheddar cheese.
That's $800 at Taco Bell with 0 toppings
Taco Bell tacos ain’t real tacos!!!but they do look good AF
What’s your definition of taco? For me it’s a type of meat in a tortilla shell or soft tortilla with veggies. Tacos are tacos. Tired of
Hearing this authentic vs non authentic bullshit. So corny
😂 That's our Tex Mex i can identify that anywhere nonetheless absolutely delicious
They are Mexican. They are called gringo tacos with sour cream and lettuce.
It’s a Mexican Taco Bell pretty much
Are these real tacos? Proceeds to fry tortillas into taco shells, fills it with unspiced ground beef, adds sour cream, shredded iceberg lettuce, and cheddar cheese. Are these authentic?
No but don’t care since they look fucking good
That's not american cheese. It's cheddar.... But my higher judgement says you actually knew that and said it anyway to draw comments, like this one. Sad state of the world we live in..
A taco is a taco.
Pablitos is fire 🔥
"top it off" means the last thing on it kinda loses meaning when you say it 4 times 😂
That’s not American cheese lol…that’s shredded cheddar buddy 😂
Guacamole sauce? So avocado sauce sauce? Yours sincerely an English man who doesn’t speak Spanish
This Is Tex Mex all the way. THANK YOU TACO BELL.
Its a real taco since broke chicanos would use ground beef instead of pork chicken or beef steak to make tacos and taco durados is just a different style of tacos
I think this style was made by a Mexican restaurant from LA.
That looks delicious 😋
A taco is a taco
I believe the term is tacos dorados, so yeah looks like it is a taco 🌮
Growing up in a Mexican household in the US, we NEVER had tacos with just ground beef. So, no, I wouldn't consider these Mexican just like I wouldn't consider Taco Bell Mexican tacos.
Just…ground beef? Do you mean you wouldn’t eat tacos with ground beef or…?
No. That being said if that place was anywhere near me I would stand in line for those tacos.
Finally Obie’s subs are going up. It’s on now. Watch. Straight to the top, Brodie. 🙏 well deserved.
Culturally no. Food can be what you make it. Either way, enjoy.
Im going to claim them✋🏼. BUT, you won't find that in Mexico
I won't buy hard shell tacos. Not trying to take a bite and pick the rest up off a plate. Don't care if it is corn or flour, soft all day
Who gives a crap. If I'm craving soft. I'll go authentic of course, and if I'm craving hard shell. I'll just hit up the spot that sells hard shell 🤷♂️ simple as that. People like to over exaggerate
