I have spent all up hundreds of hrs fossicking in all different places around Stanthorpe. I will make another video later on showing a heap of my finds. Hope you enjoy this one👍
Shit bro your videos take me back to my childhood. That's how I used to find all my crystals....great work. getting me motivated to head back home find a spot and get stuck in with my boy....✌️
Thanx Mario 👍 I'm far from an ace on my machine but I have picked up and learnt a fair bit more since uploading this vid. There really is so much to learn to know your machine inside out
Nice mate. Glad you were able to get some usefully info out of it. I'm mostly fossicking on private property down Glen aplin way but good pegmatite country👍
Yeah mate... smoky quartz is the most common and there has been a lot of topaz found around here too with some nice blue ones. I haven't heard of any emeralds or sapphires being found though
The east coast diamonds are special. They are shallow formed from the originary event. There are no crayons on the East Coast to allow diamond from the diamond belt. Its extremely interesting. Very hard to find online info though.
@@geoffgeoff143true that👍 To my understanding there has only been a few found as well. I don't know alot about diamonds except that pink ones are extremely rare
Fascinating. There is so good colour in some of those Chrystals.

There has been a pink diamond found at Diamondvale which is just on the east side of Stanthorpe town centre. Wouldn't it be nice👍😁
@@southseaviking6833 Pink diamonds jn themselves are interesting. Still not fully understood. Not like diamonds with mineral inclusions.

But it's all conservation land or private property.
Nah I don't have access to any private land out at Warwick unfortunately. Alot of gold still gets found in the gpa's out that way though👍
