Should i get this or the 5i pro? there's almost a 10k price difference? is it worth it for the same specs?
Get this, as pro model only has slightly big screen (16:10)...thats it. It looks a bit different, all else is same. Even performance is not that different, if not same....
@@TechLegion101And what about thermal difference? I've found both of them for similar price, but the non pro has the more powerful intel 12700h CPU as oppose to the ryzen 6800h on the pro.

There are 2 options.
1. Fn + space cycles between various profiles.
2. Go in vantage software and then in bottom right, Spectrum.
There u can also switch profiles and modify them with various effects
This year every laptop has a MUX switch so LEGION needs to do better.

Thermals are great. I live in a tropical country and have tested this laptop in 90 °f room temperature , and thermals were well managed in AAA titles, never thermal throttled. GO FOR IT !

Well, if you talking about this particular model, not really. As it has 12th gen cpu and rtx 3060. Better models are available this year.
But if you already have one or for some reason can only buy this or want to buy this for price considerations, this is a very good fit for 3d drawing, modelling and definitely awesome for gaming.

Yes, easily. The screen is protected by the chasis about 1 mm when you will observe carefully. And it comes with a cool and protective bagpack (unboxing video coming shortly) . So easy to carry. PLEASE SUBSCRIBE
How is its battery performance and how much does it last for just browsing and YT sessions?
General usage lasts you around 3.5 hrs (YT, movies, web browsing). It can be increased by selecting 60 hz refresh rate instead of 165, turning on IGPU mode only from vantage (video coming soon), Turning on silent mode. It will last around 4.5 hrs then. Tip :Its a gaming laptop, dont use it on battery.

Any screen bleed on this model? I'm planning to buy this laptop.
Very minor, reffer 4:23 in video. But it may vary from unit to unit as it depends on handling of laptop. I had no screen bleed at all when i unboxed it. But overtime, may be due to some my mistakes, screen bleed increased. Go for this laptop, no regrets at all.

Hello! Like and sub for solid work! Im looking for almost the same specs, but with 3070 rtx. I'm aware it would translate to 10-15% increase in fps/performance but im kinda worried abour temperatures. Couldn't find any other information about i7+3070 so maybe you're aware how does it work?
Yes i am, the thermals are well managed for 3070. Heat
Management of this laptop is one of the best.
But i will suggest get a cooling pad just in case as this laptop was tested on 2022 games, and 2023 games might be more demanding.

@@techshackOG I have it and in the beginning it was pretyy good. Averaged 85 on gpu and CPU in games like forza horizon 5 and snowrunner. Now the CPU is constantly at 100C. I have had wifi problems since the start with my unit and the Nvidia drivers cause issues. So Im on the lenovo drivers.

Get this if ur budget allows as it has 12th gen i7 which is significantly more powerful. You may not see 1 TB variant due to different region. This variant is from India. You can try to customise it if it has the option in ur region.

Sir can you drop the link , I searched everywhere even in Lenovo's site but there no option to upgrade storage and the keyboard has white backlight instead of RGB
At the time, there is no option to customise it, and only one available is the white rgb one. But you can call up lenovo customer care, tell them you wanna purchase, they will patch you to sales person. There you might have the possibility of getting a custom built in which you can choose rgb and more options.

I am student so is it better for me to go for tuf as it's offering the same specs and more battery, lesser weight to carry and also its one of the best laptops according to jarrod's tech

I7 is far better performing than ryzen 7 6800.
I7 has equal thermals that of ryzen 7 6800, but air flow of tuf is such that is still heats a lot.
Jarrod's tech reviewed legion 5 AMD variant, while in this video i have reviewed an intel variant.
Amd variant legion might be equal to amd tuf, but intel i7 12500h legion is faar superior in performance than r7 6800h tuf.
I am. Personally using the legion and can tell the difference.
About battery, its a gaming laptop, 4 hrs of battery is a lot and wont make a significant difference even if u get 1 more hr using tuf. Moreover legion has type c 120 watt charger, which u can easily carry and plug in whereever.
Biggest question is, u really want 1 more hr of battery over far better performance and built quality ?

Yes. It's called IWS (International Warranty Service) and as soon as you buy a lenovo laptop, it has IWS. No need for seperate registeration or anything.
