It’s also based on a game that is extremely hard to adapt into a non-branching medium of storytelling. If you don’t see every ending you haven’t really experienced Steins Gate 0.
If you look up explanations of how time travel works in Steins;Gate, it's well designed once you're able to wrap your head around it. And that's a pretty huge accomplishment, considering there's actually three entirely separate forms of time travel; D-mails, time leaps, and full-body time travel.
This comment will explain Steins;Gate thoroughly, going to be a long one, read if you’re really confused or just passionate about S;G : Episode 1(Beta World Line) - Okabe’s text to Daru therefore, the first Dmail and move them into the (Alpha World Line) Episode 2 - 11(Alpha World Line) - Shortens the time of Mayuri’s death by making multiple Dmail Episode 12(Alpha World Line) - We all knew what happened and I don’t wanna talk about it Episode 13 - 20(Alpha World Line) - They try to reach beyond the 1% barrier by undoing their Dmail by using Dmails. Note to everyone who forgets that in the Alpha World Line, Sern took over the world because they had the Time Leap Machine and Kidnap Kurisu, Okabe and Daru. They also killed someone who’s not that important anyway, doesn’t really matter to the plot or anything... Anyway, those Dmail does not enough to make a significant change to make sure that Mayuri is alive which left Okabe with the first Dmail where he completely forgot because of those mind f he had by watching his best friend dies over and over again for god knows how long. Also very important, they kidnapped Daru so it is a miracle that he managed to create a time machine for his daughter even though it can only go one way back to the past. Episode 21(Alpha World Line) - Okabe struggles to make the decision whether to saves his best friend, his lover or try f himself up by time leaping hundreds of time and do the impossible. The last choice is never an option if you’re wondering Episode 22(Alpha to Beta World Line) - Okabe’s final moment with Kurisu before letting her go forever. Until Suzuha called him at least. So he’s back in the Beta World Line and since the first Dmail was deleted from the Sern database by the legendary IBN-5100, Sern never took notice of the first Dmail, the Lab Member and their shenanigans with the Time Travel Sh- Episode 23 - 24(Beta World Line) - Suzuha is back with a better Time Machine and since Daru never get Kidnapped. He’s able to build a better time machine which can go to the past and the future. As you know from the episodes, Kurisu’s paper on Time Travel is what led Russia to create a Time Machine and Cause WWIII(god how many time I’ve wrote time machine in this comment). Then an #Ugly_Bastard somehow recognised as father stole the paper and bring them to Russia and it made it to Russia because of the Metal Upa. Okabe then get more f’ed up by realising he’s the cause of Kurisu’s death and led him to his depression you could say. This is the important part. I will explain these bits without spoiling Steins;Gate 0. To have Okabe seeing his future self message is for himself to fail in the first place. He will not get to that depressing future without he, the future Okabe failed the first time and gave his past self the message. The present Okabe which gets the message will eventually succeed and therefore destroy the terrible future where Kurisu have to die. And this is where people get confused. ALL OF THE TIMELINE IS STILL CONNECTED. To give y’all who’s still reading till now the summary. We will have 2 Okabe. First Okabe Saw Kurisu Dead-Failed To Save Kurisu-[content for S;G0]-(Year 2036)Gives Message To Second Okabe(in 2010). Second Okabe Saw Kurisu Dead-Failed To Save Kurisu-Received The Message From The First Okabe-saves kurisu and ultimately Live A Happily Ever After with PTSDs Basically Steins;Gate is a show which involves a two separate timelines and it play at the same time and connected to each other where the first Okabe suffers till the end so the second Okabe can reach the happy ending. if kurisu dies and the papers are sent to russia then world war 3 happens, if kurisu is saved by the d mail then sern has the evidence of them time traveling which causes mayuri to die and them getting the time machine and starting another war

I'm not sure if the anime explained this, but in the game, Okabe asks Suzuha if there won't be two of them, and she explains that they travel to a (very) slightly differant timeline so there won't be. For example, if we say that in episode 23 they traveled to timeline 0.28573738819332, then now they traveled to 0.28573738819331
@@AlvincoAetherlico The VN explains a LOOOOT of things better than the anime just cause they have a lot more time to work with (40 as opposed to 8). However, I think the anime did a good job of condensing all of the information in a way that it makes sense in a 24 episode series
@@Cabooome I'm still watching it myself, so I haven't finished it yet. [spoilers] If you want to know what the other endings are, here they are. Be careful, it's pretty messed up sometimes... About game endings, there are six endings: 1 - Okabe decide not to send the massage to Suzuha, that will resolt in her traveling back in time before the storm. In this ending, they all spend the next days having fun and going to a convention. then, after Mayuri dies, Okabe time leap back in time, and do it all over again. and again, and again, and again, until he starts loosing his mind. He try to see what will happen if he change stuff, will let people die, and even thinks about raping Mayuri. After million times, suddenly Suzuha tell him she notices how far off he is, and she suspect that's what happened. He explain to her what led him to this situation, and they both decide to fix her time machine, and go together to some other time, to see if maybe they can change the future some other way. 2 - Okabe decide not to send the massage to turn Ruka back to a man. He tells Ruka the truth, and they both decide to let Mayuri die, and live with the guilt as if they killed here. 3 - Okabe decide to not send the massage to save Faris's dad. He and Faris try to maybe save both Mayuri and Faris's dad, but what actually happens is they change the timeline to a egetive one, where he's a normie, dating Faris, and don't know Daru at all and Mayuri, and so there isn't a lab, and so there's no phone-microwave or time leap machine (but Mayuri don't die, so he's kind of okay with that) 4 - If you play the game without getting close to Makise, when Okabe and Makise decides to let Makise dies, Mayuri asks Okabe what's wrong. He tells her, and she convinces him to say goodbye to Makise in the airport. Mayuri hugs her, telling her she doesn't want her to disappear. In this ending, Okabe don't tell Makise he loves her, though he admits it to himself. After they change the worldline, Okabe and Mayuri starts dating. 5 - Basicly the same as the anime, but if you didn't get close enough with Makise, the anime game ends after episode 22, without Suzuha calling Daru. 6 - true ending - like the anime
@@adolphvil2 There are six endings. Suzuha, Rumiho, Luka, Mayuri, Kurisu, and True. True and Kurisu are basically the same thing though. There's also a sequence in Chapter 9 which is VASTLY different from the anime, where Braun doesn't kill Moeka but instead just shoots himself. They then return to Moeka's apartment, where Moeka is then killed by Nae with no explanation other than her giving a cryptic "see you in 14 years Okabe". If you don't send the D-mail immediately and continue down this path it's revealed in a super metal sequence that the Nae that loses her father is recruited by the Rounders and eventually abducts and kills Okabe in 2025. She then TIme Leaps back to her 9 year old self (in increments of 2 days at a time, remember) to kill Moeka in revenge for her indirectly killing her father. I imagine the reason that sequence was cut because it was too brutal and awesome to show on daytime television.

There's so many interesting details in the game the anime didn't cover. Just make sure to follow a playthrough so you don't have to keep replaying the same things repeatedly.
in order for okabe to receive the video message, he had to fail once so that the him in the future that failed to reach steins gate would be able to send the video to the past so that the present okabe would be able to receive instructions to reach steins gate. steins gate 0 explores the world line that he failed to save kurisu, and was driven to send the video message in the future
1:30 Okabe has full creative control over the lines he gives the creator/author for the show's script. That, and he also sometimes just freestyles everything. The animators just make sure to give him the screen time needed. 😂
14:07 he didn't cancelled, every time he goes back to the past he goes to a new world line (THAT IS IDENTICAL TO THE OLD ONE) That's why it's impossible for him to met himself . . . . If you think about "back to the future" using the steins;gate idea if marty had to go back again to the prom thing he would not met himself because in that line he was never there, it's impossible to the same person to exist in the same moment at the same time line
Im pretty sure it's going to be a live action show with the production company that did Altered Carbon, so I'm gonna choose to have faith and believe in the will of Stein's Gate haha
If I remember correctly, the Oompa is what stopped world war 3. The switch of the metal to the plastic which allowed the files to burn or something. I haven’t watched it in a while so I’m not 100%, but that rings a bell to me.
One thing you need to consider is that when you go back in time, you think of that time period as a "receptacle" for any time travel attempts that are made. That is to say, any and all attempts to return to a specific period of time will ALL converge at that time. To put it another way: Just because he failed his first attempt doesn't change the fact that he would go back again. So there are two ways that this could happen: 1. Each travel will be it's own entity and subsequent travels will not interfere. (IE you won't see yourself from a previous time leap) 2. All travel attempts would intertwine with one another. Including the first one. (Even on your first travel attempt, versions of you from your subsequent travel attempts should also be there because you're at the targeted destination in TIME. So if you make 5 trips, one after the other, even on your first trip, you should have 6 versions of yourself present in the target time)
Having read the VN for 0, the adaptation is... not great. There's a LOT of issues with merging two seperate routes into one, and they don't handle a lot of it well. It's definitely not Chaos;Child levels of shitting the bed, but if the adaptation of the original was a 9/10 I'd say that the adaptation of 0 was a 6 or a 7. Except the ending, of course. The anime's adaptation of the ending is hype as shit.
I'm really glad that you guys loved this series. I know it was a little weird at the start but watching everyone come to enjoy the show so much was great.
To explain why there isn’t a second okabe but a third, it’s still only one Time Machine. To keep it short, there’s only one time travel machine so they don’t stack on top of each other. More importantly, nothing significant enough changed in his failure to save Kurisu the first time, okabe still thinks she died, because she did, and Nakabachi escapes to Russia with the papers just like he does and that starts the buildup to ww3 Also it’s hard to visualize it but the biggest difference between the two world lines is how time travel works. CERN in the other timeline borrow’s Kurisu’s Phone Wave technology, which in turn is based off of Okabe’s D-mail. Weirdly enough along with the pioneer of this tech being an ignorant NEET and CERN’s limited underground research has led to a stunted understanding of time travel. In comparison to this worldline seen after the death of kurisu and the dismantling of the d-mail machine, the research for time travel is instead funded by world governments which includes trillions of dollars and thousands of minds across the globe. Because of this time travel in this timeline does not work in the same way that Okabe’s was limited to. Finally the divergence line sits right in the middle, where Makise’s father does not get to spread time travel to the world and Okabe never invents it himself, leading to the world powers and CERN from never discovering time travel nor having anything from Okabe to alert their attention. The fine line between the two sources of time travel where neither happen because they both contradict each other
Hopefully this explains why there wasn't the second trip back Okabe. Remember, the first thing he does when he gets back is switch the metal toy for a plastic toy. As soon as that changed, he switched to a new timeline. So by the time that he saved her, they had already switched to a new timeline where he hadn't gone back a second time.
Such wasted potential. Spoilers He should have had the same kind of fun bickering with the ai. Slowly having him heal while they come up with a plan to save kurisu, would have been perfect. The boring depresion fest was painful to watch. Been a long time since i watched it, but i remember them butchering darus character too.
That's explained in the game. Using a time machine to travel shifts the world line very slightly. Thus, the time machine didn't go back the second time to the same world line it was in the first time. This makes sense to me, personally, since the act of putting a time machine in an instant of time where it wasn't before changes things, even if only slightly. They didn't have that explanation in the anime, unfortunately.
Rewatching this again after a few years. Will rewatch Steins Gate as a whole again soon. As time goes on it only gets better. We approach the divergence number, as is the will of Steins Gate.
I understand how you guys say you are satisfied with the ending, so I'm just gonna say this: 0 is just gonna satisfy you in a different way...? And emotions will be amplified. Also, it has one of the best anime comebacks.
I know you probably won't see this, but there's a really smart joke/pun they've made with the "It's good to have you Backarin!" moment. The reason it's good is because they translated it from what she said in Japanese (where it made WAY more sense), because she said "Okarin nassai!", or something along those lines. And, in Japanese, "Okaeri nassai!" means "Welcome back". So I applaud them for making that pun, but also applaud the dub for trying their best to stick to it!
If Aaron wants to watch another anime series that could translate really well into live-action, then you guys really need to check out Monster. It's an absolute masterpiece of a show.
Steins;Gate is one of these shows which become much more enjoyable during a second rewatch, specially if you've watched the rest of the stuff. I did a rewatch in the chronological order for my second time (i had read the VNs with all the routes too), which consists in watching 23b and S;G 0 before ending S;G+OVA+Movie and, holy fuck, that hit like a truck. Definitely in my top 3 of favourite shows/franchises ever.
What a great series indeed. And it doesn't have the typical "anime" style with screaming characters on weird shifting backgrounds for overdramatization. Here the only overdramatization is done on purpose by the main character, and it is great. I wish there were more shows like this. I hope you'll watch OVA too. There's not much there but it's still pretty cool.
Your points about the live action budget makes me slightly hopeful for the future live action series... Looks like you did watch the OVA, but I'm really hoping you watch the movie! You watched the Cowboy Bebop movie, right?
Sand Mayuri is from Steins;Gate0 so if you want to understand that, watch Steins;Gate0 the Sequel. Also Steins;Gate0 gives you context for that future message.
okabe travel the second time to before he went. on landing in the past it caused the world line to branch slightly, and the failure time did not appear.
But Steins gate divergence number isn't 0, it's 1.048596. As it is under the influence of both Alpha and Beta Attractor Fields, it does not reach the final convergent result found in either field. Since this worldline doesn't converge upon SERN's dystopia, nor World War Three
This is a late comment, and it could be wrong or someone might have explained things in another comment, but the way I understood things is that future Okabe sent a message that could only be seen by a past Okabe who had traveled back in time. It’s not that he necessarily changed the world line, but by going back in time something changed in himself that allowed him access to the future message. Or maybe it had to specifically be an Okabe who went back in time and witnessed everything exactly as he did, and that failure to rescue Kurisu changed him enough to see the message. I know the second idea sounds more far fetched than the first because it’s more specific, but future Okabe does in part create the time machine that they use and also creates the device that reads the world lines and lists the divergence number, so maybe everything is within future Okabe’s calculations. Also, I think that he doesn’t erase his failure necessarily from his first attempt to go back in time. Basically him seeing Kurisu dead is what sets him on the events of the series that apparently last three weeks. If he didn’t go back in time I assume she still dies because her dad killed her. But because he has to witness her death as a mandatory event that allows him to go through the events of the series, he couldn’t kill the father and save her outright because it would shift him from a world were he witnesses her apparent death, which is integral to his current self’s timeline. So he can only affect time insofar as that condition is unchanged. Similarly to how Mayuri always died in the other timeline, Kurisu “dying” and Okabe finding her were a part of the initial timeline that creates the current Okabe. Since the time machine is used to go back to the event that “would” splinter timelines, but he can’t change who he is and erase all reasons for his current actions, he can only really affect time where his own knowledge of events remain unchanged until the moment he goes back in time. So he isn’t erasing his first attempt where he fails to save Kurisu. He simply goes through a potential timeline where he could have been the one to kill Kurisu because of his time travel, but returns to his initial time point were it’s before he would have gone back in time. So although he experienced one potential timeline, the time machine allows him to return to a timeline separate from the one where he would have stabbed her. Basically the branching timelines means that he’s on one branch and although he can follow the branch to many different leaves, he can go back to the start of the branch and potentially end up at a different leaf without it affecting his ability to go back to the start of the branch until he is able to find a leaf/outcome that is desirable; he just can’t change branches. So I think he’s on the same world line but it’s one where the outcome of events are shifted heavily due to explicit time travel, or it’s a world line that only diverges after the point of time travel and not before the changes take place. So he succeeded in changing his future without changing his past as far as he perceived it and jumped to a world line where Kurisu and Mayuri are both alive and it’s all only possible because of his mind powers.
We never met suzuha In a world line where myuri lives until episode 23 bc the first time any world line shifted was after okabe saw makise dead and he sent a text to daru
Been waiting for this all week! Great reaction! Personally I would prefer you watched the movie first, as I think that is the closest we get to the original series. I have a complicated relationship with Steins;Gate 0, and I think a lot of that has to do with the shift in tone, but the movie and OVA is definitely worth the watch following the series finaly. A lot of inside into Kurisu too which I can appreciate.
Okabe succeeded second time because of the butterfly effect as explained in episode 2. it says that even a slightest thing can change the outcome of the future. So as in this episode Okabe interchanged the metal upa with an ordinary one....that's what changed the future I guess.
please do also the movie, it’s not much about the story but i think that is very good to watch, also for the character swap ( if you’re saw it u know what i’m talking about)
The OVA is really good, it won’t ruin the finale of the normal series. Also there is a Film before Steins;Gate 0 where the protagonist is Kurisu in a new story after the OVA
Such a shame they never watched Steins;gate 0, it makes the story much better. I hope they get to it one day even though I feel like it is probably not gonna happen because if the patreons wanted it they would've voted for it by now (assuming it has been on some of the polls during the last 3 years).
For those who are confuse about how Okabe pull it off. Alpha = World War 3. Russian got the time travel document Beta = Kurisu lives and continue working on Time Travel theory, Sern followed up and created dystopia. Steins;Gate = Russian don't get the document due to Kurisu's research being burnt, Kurisu lives and did not continue research as warned by Okabe. No dystopia, no world war 3. It seems our reactors here are unaware that in the story Steins;Gate, there are more than just Alpha, and Beta world line, there are infinite. Gamma, Zeta, Omega, whatever. Steins;Gate is the one Okabe ultimately end up in due to saving Kurisu, give up on time travel research, and prevent the papers from reaching Russia in one piece..
The change to do the re do from what I can guess is cause since he failed then due to failing he is able to view the video from the future him of the failing to save her then that convinced him to go back from that time line to re do since it's now a different timeline cause of the video. THat's probably hard to read and makes sense out of

Steins Gate 0, is about the okabe who sent the message from the failed timeline
It's basically about
The Okabe who didn't get slapped by Mayuri
in short, sad scientist
It is, but it's also the same world line that motivates Okabe to go forward with Operation Skuld.
@@SMScorx89 Same world line? Not really. The story undergoes many world lines.
It’s also based on a game that is extremely hard to adapt into a non-branching medium of storytelling. If you don’t see every ending you haven’t really experienced Steins Gate 0.
@@mr.stuffdoer8483 Both stories, from the VN and the anime, have their own interest.
If you look up explanations of how time travel works in Steins;Gate, it's well designed once you're able to wrap your head around it. And that's a pretty huge accomplishment, considering there's actually three entirely separate forms of time travel; D-mails, time leaps, and full-body time travel.
This comment will explain Steins;Gate thoroughly, going to be a long one, read if you’re really confused or just passionate about S;G :
Episode 1(Beta World Line) - Okabe’s text to Daru therefore, the first Dmail and move them into the (Alpha World Line)
Episode 2 - 11(Alpha World Line) - Shortens the time of Mayuri’s death by making multiple Dmail
Episode 12(Alpha World Line) - We all knew what happened and I don’t wanna talk about it
Episode 13 - 20(Alpha World Line) - They try to reach beyond the 1% barrier by undoing their Dmail by using Dmails.
The last choice is never an option if you’re wondering
Episode 22(Alpha to Beta World Line) - Okabe’s final moment with Kurisu before letting her go forever. Until Suzuha called him at least. So he’s back in the Beta World Line and since the first Dmail was deleted from the Sern database by the legendary IBN-5100, Sern never took notice of the first Dmail, the Lab Member and their shenanigans with the Time Travel Sh-
Episode 23 - 24(Beta World Line) - Suzuha is back with a better Time Machine and since Daru never get Kidnapped.
Second Okabe Saw Kurisu Dead-Failed To Save Kurisu-Received The Message From The First Okabe-saves kurisu and ultimately Live A Happily Ever After with PTSDs
Basically Steins;Gate is a show which involves a two separate timelines and it play at the same time and connected to each other where the first Okabe suffers till the end so the second Okabe can reach the happy ending. If I’m drawing a diagram, the statement above it will somewhat be like this \/
FOSKD-FTSK-[S;G0]-GMTSO-\/[The message is where 2nd TL is created]
SOSKD-FTSK---------->[The loop stops here]-LAHEA
TL - Time Line
if kurisu dies and the papers are sent to russia then world war 3 happens, if kurisu is saved by the d mail then sern has the evidence of them time traveling which causes mayuri to die and them getting the time machine and starting another war
Kurisu isn't "saved by the d-mail". She's saved by Suzuha's imperfect time machine smashing the building.
@@Kaylakaze D-Mail causes SERN to find Phonewave which causes them to finish their time machine which causes dystopia which results in Suzuha traveling in said imperfect time machine. So Kurisu IS saved by the D-Mail.
Simply said. Steins gate 0 ANSWERS your questions about 14:10 - 15:45 ish :) And wonderfully
I'm not sure if the anime explained this, but in the game, Okabe asks Suzuha if there won't be two of them, and she explains that they travel to a (very) slightly differant timeline so there won't be. For example, if we say that in episode 23 they traveled to timeline 0.28573738819332, then now they traveled to 0.28573738819331
@@davidyodo24 Only the VN does.
@@davidyodo24 Yeah unfortunately.
@@AlvincoAetherlico The VN explains a LOOOOT of things better than the anime just cause they have a lot more time to work with (40 as opposed to 8). However, I think the anime did a good job of condensing all of the information in a way that it makes sense in a 24 episode series

[spoilers] If you want to know what the other endings are, here they are. Be careful, it's pretty messed up sometimes...
About game endings, there are six endings:
1 - Okabe decide not to send the massage to Suzuha, that will resolt in her traveling back in time before the storm.
He and Faris try to maybe save both Mayuri and Faris's dad, but what actually happens is they change the timeline to a egetive one, where he's a normie, dating Faris, and don't know Daru at all and Mayuri, and so there isn't a lab, and so there's no phone-microwave or time leap machine (but Mayuri don't die, so he's kind of okay with that)
4 - If you play the game without getting close to Makise, when Okabe and Makise decides to let Makise dies, Mayuri asks Okabe what's wrong.
6 - true ending - like the anime
so are there more endings or just 6
@@adolphvil2 There are six endings.

Sadly that woman on ova , is not suzuha mother , they reveal the real mother on steins gate 0
Both the OVA and movie (Deja Vu) aren't based on the original source material (visual novel). They were made in order to extend the story from the anime stuff. The woman you might think it might be Suzuha's mother (from OVA) isn't actually her mother. Her real mother is revealed on Steins;Gate 0 which is the "true sequel" from the visual novel creators.

Okabe has full creative control over the lines he gives the creator/author for the show's script.
That, and he also sometimes just freestyles everything. The animators just make sure to give him the screen time needed. 😂

So there are two ways that this could happen:
1. Each travel will be it's own entity and subsequent travels will not interfere. (IE you won't see yourself from a previous time leap)
2. All travel attempts would intertwine with one another. Including the first one. (Even on your first travel attempt, versions of you from your subsequent travel attempts should also be there because you're at the targeted destination in TIME. So if you make 5 trips, one after the other, even on your first trip, you should have 6 versions of yourself present in the target time)
Hope 0 wins, it definitely has some of the best moments in the series
Having read the VN for 0, the adaptation is... not great. There's a LOT of issues with merging two seperate routes into one, and they don't handle a lot of it well. It's definitely not Chaos;Child levels of shitting the bed, but if the adaptation of the original was a 9/10 I'd say that the adaptation of 0 was a 6 or a 7.

More importantly, nothing significant enough changed in his failure to save Kurisu the first time, okabe still thinks she died, because she did, and Nakabachi escapes to Russia with the papers just like he does and that starts the buildup to ww3
Also it’s hard to visualize it but the biggest difference between the two world lines is how time travel works.
Yeah I hope you guys watch Steins;Gate 0, to put it simply, you guys have already seen it, just dont realise yet.

They did react to the OVA! I'm so happy ^^

Looking forward to the live action series!

You guys discussing this episode reminds me of tbbt theory disxussing time travel 😂😂😂
I really hope Steins gate 0 wins the poll. Sure it is not as great as the original, but it fleshed out the series even more. Worth it giving a shot.
Rick's theory about Okabe's future self in the worldline where he failed saving Kurisu is actually really interesting.
The blood scene makes me uncomfortable every time
Sand Mayuri is from Steins;Gate0 so if you want to understand that, watch Steins;Gate0 the Sequel.
Also Steins;Gate0 gives you context for that future message.
Eric making peace with Moeka in the new timeline was truly the best character arc
okabe travel the second time to before he went. on landing in the past it caused the world line to branch slightly, and the failure time did not appear.
the timeline didn’t change much when he failed because kurisu died either way
There's the OVA and the Movie for the good ending episode 23
For the Bad Ending there's Steins Gate:0
There are alternate storylines with not so "wholesome" endings. You guys should check it out too.

Now we need the OVA and Zero! Please!
man.... I am so itchy to answer their questions.
Guys you know what to do... Steins;Gate 0
Kinda wish they noticed the different song lol
For those who are confuse about how Okabe pull it off.
Alpha = World War 3. Russian got the time travel document
Beta = Kurisu lives and continue working on Time Travel theory, Sern followed up and created dystopia.
The world is a much different place after these 24 weeks...
Now OVAs, the movie and the rewatch of episode one
Eric's tu tu ru at the end 😂
Moral of the entire story, Dont Fuck with Time
For the one that the future self that sent his video calls back to the present , watch zero for it.
The change to do the re do from what I can guess is cause since he failed then due to failing he is able to view the video from the future him of the failing to save her then that convinced him to go back from that time line to re do since it's now a different timeline cause of the video. THat's probably hard to read and makes sense out of
The video is a D-mail
him failing the first time was needed to get the message from his future self
might or might not have gotten patreon just so i could vote for steinsgate 0
You have my respect sir
same, I could not wait a week for the public release.
