    For anyones interest torque specs on two mount down bolts are 36-47 foot pounds

    Just an FYI...always remove the negative battery terminal first! A lot of damage can be done otherwise.

    Good video. I'm having to replace my starter on my 2014 Sedona. My problem is that it quit at my wife's dentist office 40 miles from my house

      Oh no! Mine was on a Sedona. Maybe that has something to do with it? It was also a V6

      @@Cranedewd Mine is also a Sedona 2014. My son came by and tried to help. He is a wirey slender mass of muscle and he could not get his hands i there, try as he may. What I'm looking at is removing the air damper and both radiator hoses just to get a small access I have watched you video 4 more times and where you light up and point out the bolts, mine is totally corrupt with wires and tubing and hoses.

    A new starter is running me $404 to $378 (from the dealership). I'm going to for sure test my starter. Lol

      Try O’Reillys or Autozone. They were way cheaper than that if I remember correctly and I haven’t had any issues with it.

    I realize that yours is a 2015, and mine is a 2014, BUT I watched your video religiously and nothing on mine is like anything on yours.

      2014 and 2015 are different generations of Sedona's

    Thanks for sharing! When the van did not start would it just click? Or make no noise at all? Having a similar issue, tested alternator tested battery both show good. Thinking maybe starter. Mine is 2016, still starting but intermittently getting just a click.

    • @Cranedewd
      @Cranedewd  2 года назад +1

      I think ours never really showed signs of being bad other than slow starting. I do remember it killed our battery. So we replaced the battery and I think it did click a couple times on my wife. It was a while ago. I can’t really remember!

      That’s a great question! Unfortunately I don’t remember. I don’t even own this van any longer. Watching the video I’d think I probably used my 3/8” drive ratchet with what I think was a 12mm socket. Wish I could be more help.

      They are 2 14s but the top one is an issue cause Kia decided to weld 2 hoses together and put the Thermostat housing on top of it
