Hi, how did you know it was just the solenoid that needed to be replaced and not the whole starter motor / solenoid assembly? I have the same vehicle that the starter test performed at Autozone showed the starter is "failing" (but battery good). However, I haven't experienced any issues with the start not working yet. Just trying to trouble shoot my vehicle and wanted to see if I just need to replace the solenoid instead of the whole motor.
It's hard to find and buy just the solenoids to replace on a starter. Most of the time the whole starter is replaced plus to replace the solenoid you have to remove the whole starter anyways so it's better to put the new starter.
