Daniel, amazing video, very well done and as you said there is nothing else around to show this work so well. I have a 2004 and I intend to drill a 6mm hole over the spigot end of the pin you siliconed in and then inject foam to capture the "rattle from hell" which is certainly what it is. Did you notice it only happens on hot sunny days? Regards Charles NZ

Hi Charles The Dash Rattle On The R50 (The Car This Video Was Filmed)Yes, It Was During The Summer When I Noticed The Rattle. But, On The R53, It Had Rattled Since I Got The Car And Eventually, Just Wore Away The Slot Where The Pin Fits In The Dash. I've Also Made A Tutorial On How To Fit A Facelift Dashboard Into These Minis If You're Interested In That As These Dashes Are Prone To Going Brittle And Cracking As They Age Due To Heat, Especially Here In Cyprus.
