Thanks. When You've Removed The Crash bar, It Gives You Access To The Heater Box. I Think You Have To Split It Though. There's A Video Series Of Someone Changing It On Their R3 And They Show The Part Where They Remove t In Real Time. But For Changing My Dash Assembly, I Didn't Have To Touch The Heater Box.
Outstanding video, I have an 02 r53 I'm in the process of saving from the parts wagon and the next thing inline is to replace the heater blower motor ( a 5 pin plug) so this video is going to help a lot getting down to it. If you have a video on that job, I must have missed it. Thanks again for all you do in sharing your knowledge. From the Pacific North West in the US keep rolling on.

Daniel, amazing video, very well done and as you said there is nothing else around to show this work so well. I have a 2004 and I intend to drill a 6mm hole over the spigot end of the pin you siliconed in and then inject foam to capture the "rattle from hell" which is certainly what it is. Did you notice it only happens on hot sunny days? Regards Charles NZ
Hi Charles The Dash Rattle On The R50 (The Car This Video Was Filmed)Yes, It Was During The Summer When I Noticed The Rattle. But, On The R53, It Had Rattled Since I Got The Car And Eventually, Just Wore Away The Slot Where The Pin Fits In The Dash. I've Also Made A Tutorial On How To Fit A Facelift Dashboard Into These Minis If You're Interested In That As These Dashes Are Prone To Going Brittle And Cracking As They Age Due To Heat, Especially Here In Cyprus.
