My car cover has elastic at its border. So i open it on top, stuck one side under the side mirror, then do the same on opposite side then it doesnt slide out and i can pull the cover without problem.

Nice observation mister. To understand read the story below. This cover is of Honda city which I got as a free cover from showroom on the day of delivery of Honda city. I opened that cover after 3months and realised that the cover has a manufacturing defect of having only one pocket for mirrors. I didn’t get a replacement.
I bought the Kia seltos on 21st March 2020 which a day before lockdown. I cudnt buy a new cover for my seltos as everything was closed and felt to save money by using the Honda city cover.
Hope your doubt is clear now. Try using this technique for covering your car, it works fantastic. I use the same technique for covering my Skoda Octavia and it works great.

Also see video at 4:45, there is mirror pocket at rear side and ‘city’ is written in front side. So one pocket was in front and one was in rear..😂😂
I understand your difficulty in covering the car with the wrong cover to your car. If so, you could have used a perfect car & cover for demonstration to new car owners instead of the shown. You could have used someone's car & cover to shoot the demo video.
Video is posted on 16th May 2020, u can understand the situation at that period of time, I mean the lockdown time. Nobody could move out of their houses.
