Quick, to the point, and clear about what you’re doing. Many youtube videos don’t check all 3 boxes and make it difficult when repairing things. Thanks for helping!!

Great video. I have the same washer at home. My question is does it need that black box to be replaced or is it the switch (with cables). The PRoblem was its not spinning.
      Thank you

I am confused you unscrewed to screws how many really? How do you get the clips at the front of the controls out to pull back?

I recently had my washer after it finished the spin cycle it wouldn't unlock could it the lid switch? Or something else 🤔

It could very well be something else, but if it is the lid switch, you know how to fix it now 💪🏾

Bro Im not sure if we have the same washer but we definitely have the same lid lock. You don’t even have to unscrew the back

Maybe, but some of the repair methods I do in my videos are more for show and better angles to explain better. When I’m in the field and I change these latches, I don’t lift up the top. But that’s advance to a beginner

So since I posted this video they have come out with a new latch design that comes with a harness attached, i’m not sure if this will fix your machine, but if the latch is broken go to
www.ordergeapplianceparts.com/ and enter your model number for the correct up-to-date part number

Thanks for the video, mine is doing clicking noises, is there any way to override/bypass the switch? I see 3 wires in the connector, could it be a 2 combination of connected wires to send signal to the main board?

If you disassemble the switch and remove the striker it should work just fine, I actually just discovered that myself
