Heck no, I'm 50 yrs old but Keith Whitley is my favorite singer. We share the same birthday. I'm from Virginia and my Dad love bluegrass and the Stanley's

This had to be shortly before Keith went mainstream. Keith Whitley will always be a legend. Thanks for sharing this! Bc of his untimely death, video of Keith is few and far between. A lot of his later vocals was built upon harmony bluegrass music.

To make this even more remarkable, pretty sure the guitar player to the left of Ralph Stanley is a young Ricky Skaggs. There was a whole lot of talent on that stage.

He didn't play guitar in those bluegrass bands... Skaggs played banjo.
At that time I think Ralph played most of the banjo.
