    if you're making a decision on what marker to get based on the case it comes w/, your priorities are messed. don't look at stats. shoot both and see what you like more/play better with.

  • @DanielKimbril
    @DanielKimbril 4 месяца назад +1

    The issue with the case is the hard rubber for the barrel and inserts… Once you get a few inserts in there, it squishes them so tight that they’re hard to get in and out. If you decide to go to a different barrel system, that barrel may not fit.
    When it comes to accuracy, the CRBN nano barrel really takes this accuracy to a new level. Even though both the stock and the CRBN Use the PR insert the porting on the tip makes it much more accurate.
    I wonder if the talking back to you feature of the idol can be turned off?? Because if you powered off on the field to do a field trip for any reason it’s gonna let the other team know that you’re working on your gun. I do believe the CS3 powers on a lot faster than the idol.
    Listening to your video comparison of the shots the idol has more noise from the bolt.
    The idol gets its sound from the bolt stopping after its shot. the CS3 gets its sound from stopping the bolt as it goes forward before returning for a second shot.

      @@BrandonGavin_EDC I Just installed a Pooty core in my 1.5 and handed it to a new Luxe Idol Owner. He shot it and his words were WTF did I just spend my money on? Yep. Had a few CS3 people say the same. I know they are based off the Luxe but I have owned a few and they never shot like a Squish. Its what the Shocker should have been.

    • @axledog7297
      @axledog7297 Месяц назад +1

      Neither of these markers were designed with "smooth/quiet" as the top priority. They are rugged, reliable and efficient.
      The Vanquish is a modernized Shocker SFT/NXT with a relatively sluggish, low-force balanced spool. They're soft, quiet and inefficient. This is far from an apples to apples comparison.
      With that said, I do enjoy the Vanquish 2.0/GT with V16 drive.

      Battery is separating from the contacts. Add a bit of cardboard between the battery and that little cross that pushes into the battery. The red plastic piece tends to loosen up sometimes.

      @@axledog7297idol is a great marker. they’re both great. I just think that the idol is using a new design and they haven’t worked out the flaws. Like the screen dips in and you’re not gripping anything in that area. It’s bit louder than the tm40. It kicks more as well including against the CS3. The back piece is a hard to get off. And you can’t use just any type C charger. You have to use one that will fit the narrow slot it’s in. A lot of my chargers won’t fit. I prefer the PE ASA. They’re more practical. The frame is hard to take off compared to the tm40. They’re the same but for some reason it’s a lot harder to get the locking engagement to move on the idol compared to the tm40. I also like the fact on the PE, you can just change out the batteries instead of having to charge it. The foregrip on the luxe needs tape because it’s slick. The CS3 is perfecting their platform. It’s just really thought out and each year, they fix any issues. Cs3 shoots smoother and softer. The cs3 foregrip is bigger than the cs2. It’s bit longer than the idol but some people might like that. With all that being said, these are very minor issues. They’re both REALLY GOOD markers. I’m making a screen cover for my idol with my 3d printer. I don’t have crazy big hands so surface area is a big things for me. Especially when I’m running with a 2k gun. Dye’s M3 screen sits flush with the handle grips. I think something like that wove been more plausible for luxe.
