We are looking at the stages of makeup application for older women. Our first video starts with my totally makeup-free face and focuses on primer, which many women may not even be familiar with.

Primers answer a dilemma that many women over 60 might be facing. Many of us are still applying makeup they’ve used for years. This might include heavy powder or cream foundations.
To create a more natural makeup look, new tinted moisturizers and lightweight foundations have emerged in the last few years.
They give the face luminosity and less of a “made up” look, but they do not always have the “staying power” that a lot of women love. So, primers were created to “set” a lightweight foundation, or eliminate the need for foundation altogether.

I remember when I first tried a primer. It was amazing! Made my skin feel silky and smooth and makeup just glided on smoothly. The trick is finding the one that is right for your skin.
What brand of primer made your skin feel so good?
Please........ where is the list of the products you are showing and using? Make up informational videos are of no use for me, if I cannot read the names of the many products talked about .

I use the 'Benefit Porefessional'. I love it. I get shiny from my sunscreen and this takes away the shine and provides a great base for my foundation.
your skin is so pretty without makeup! Good info today. I turn 56 in a week and this past year alot of skin changes.
Very informative, a couple of things 1. Some of us live in a warm/super hot climate all year long. Like to see make up for this type of climate. 2, Some on us on a budget shop drug store make up, like to see these products been featured.. thank you

Hello Margaret. I love this information. I am one of thoese people that doesn't wear any makeup. I know nothing about it so I just stay away from it. I cant see to do any eye makeup without my glasses so I just put a little on my eyebrows. My picture for my Icon is without makeup. My videos are also without makeup. Sometimes I put a little lipstick on in them if I remember. I am 67 years old or young 💕 NonnaGrace

It would be great if you could list the products. They are mentioned so quickly, camera does not zoom in on them, and sound quality is not the best so I really don't know what exactly are the products being used. Thanks.

What to do for puffy under eyes?
My favorite primer is the neutralizing one by Mally. It covers redness & gives a little glow to my skin. The only problem is it has a very unpleasant medicinal smell which does dissipate quickly.
