How on earth did YOU learn that ? I don't remember 3ds max manuals containing this info.. and if so - unless someone actually teaches that stuff - Where are they ?

Amazing tutorial!
Maybe you can solve my issue, I would like to export an animated ceiling, done using the data channel, to Unreal engine, but to do so I need to bake the animation to an editable mesh or poly, do you have any idea on how to do it?
Many thanks!
Try to export it as an alembic file and then import it to unreal engine.
Utterly awesome!!!! Thank you! I hope you can also do some Hera Kim installations. Great work!

I'm using 3ds max 2023 but still i don't have this array modifier how can i get it?
You need version 2023.2 or higher
I dont see names of the maps in the video(the text its wery smal), but its interesting method of making sings
Noted I will try fix that in future videos, thanks!
thank you , what a great tutorial. i work in television and i need this kinda stuff to make abstract backgrounds etc.
You're very welcome!
This is amaizing!!! But I have a doubt, how do you do the uv spread for all the geometry, instead of for each element, if you don't have the 3dmax 2023 with the array modifier? Thanks in advance. :)
Well if you’re working in previous versions you need to use the old array tool then attach everything together, after that you can apply a uvw map modifier which will spread the uv across the object instead of repeating over each element, also you can set it to channel 2 and continue working with it, this way your textures will not be affected. Hope this helps you getting an idea of the workaround 🙏🏻
@@BoundlessBox Thank you! I had already put a uvw map before but I was getting very soft colours from the uvw channel map. I solved it by moving the gizmo of the uvw map modifier up. You have taken me to the right way :) 🙏🙏👌
is this science!! well done 👏
Glad you liked it, thanks!
