But stiff competition, injuries and plain old bad luck all contributed to Ewing retiring from the league as one of the greatest players to have never won a ring. So from playing in the streets of Kingston to the “mecca” of basketball at Madison Square Garden, this is the life of Patrick Ewing.

Only reason he never won a championship was because the second best player on the team was John Starks. He's ok but not enough.
Truly, he was the heart and soul of the Knicks! Still is to this day!
