Kobe didn’t play “alongside” Shaq for his first 3 rings. He averaged 1ppg less than Shaq during their 4 playoff runs together that resulted in finals appearances. He led the ENTIRE LEAGUE in 4th quarter & clutch time scoring. Led his team in assists, & was the best perimeter defender in the world making 1st team all defense. Shaq needed Kobe more than Kobe needed Shaq. Period.
Playing “alongside” doesn’t mean “carried by”…literally just means they played on the same together and both contributed to success. Nowhere in that statement is it even inferred that Kobe was less than Shaq.

Thanks for this!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed!
Team USA needed Kobe Bryant
I still can't believe to this day that Kobe doesn't exist anymore. Everytime I'm watching his videos, I constantly get tears. I missed you Kobe, immensely!
His legacy lives on through the stories we tell! 🐍🕊️
Mamba Forever❤I miss my hero man! 😢 One of a kind and someone every basketball player, athlete and non-athlete can learn from and be inspired by. He got the most out of himself. Nothing but respect for that man.
Agreed!

Give Michael Redd credit too because they were missing a zone buster in the previous international tournaments in 2004 and 2006 since Reggie Miller retired.
Very underrated!!

That's my DAWG... i always saw MJ in him on how he love basketball, and the feeling of their teamm8s we had kobe/mj, making them to love the basketball in right way,
MAMBA MENTALITY to pass the master
BLACK CAT to be the best basketball player that i could be...
Their team mates hated both
