Building a Ballast Box for a Tractor

Our new tractor has no rear ballast! It likes to tip over when lifting heavy things with the loader, so I put my fabrication skills to use and built a Ballast Box. This will come in handy to keep the tractor grounded when not using a rear implement, and won't get in the way or limit the tractors mobility or movement.

building a ballast box for a tractor that does not have a ballast box and using the tractor with out said ballast box to lift said ballast box to make things safer. All joking aside looks great! and its good to see the demo of how quick things can get flipped around when not using ballast. building one my self is way out of my comfort zone, looking at many options and styles for my new 1025 R JD probably going to get a Titan Cat 1, 3 Point Ballast Box

Funny how that works, isn’t it? And yeah, they make them pretty affordable in my opinion if you don’t have the ability to make one yourself. It’s a great addition to your implements, always nice to have options!
