How To Let Your Hair Go Gray....With A Little Help

  • I am ready to embrace my natural ash/gray hair color. The healthiest way to go gray is to just let your hair grow out. I however am extremely impatient and was afraid of watching the skunk line down the center of my head grow.
    I was not concerned about the vanity part of it at all, just something that for me when I am ready for something, I need it like...yesterday. With the help (MAJOR HELP) from my stylist, she helped get me to as close to my possible hair color as she could. This took about 3 1/2 hours or so.
    I will now HOPEFULLY not have to put anymore chemicals in my hair (At least thats my plan now )
    If you are letting your hair go natural, I would love to hear from you in the comments.

    Your hair looks great! My friend said I’d look older with gray hair too, but the gray looks good with my blue eyes. The way my gray is coming in is super cool too. There is such a freedom in going natural and embracing it! ❤️

      Great Video! Forgive me for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard about - Millawdon Goodbye Gray Trick (just google it)? It is a great one of a kind guide for learning how to reverse gray hair fast without the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend finally got great results with it.

    I started doing mine in March of 2020 and I'm almost all grown out and it's the best thing I ever did. And I think I look better now than I did with my bleach blonde hair with highlights and lowlights and what have you. 👍

    I’m really thinking of going gray because I’m tired of coloring my hair. My hair grows 1-2 inches a month so I have to color every 4 wks. It’s just exhausting & I can’t wait 18 months for it to grow out because it would drive me crazy!! I think going gray is difficult when you’re a brunette because you’re used to darker hair so the gray or white doesn’t look like you.

    • @LoriWheeler
      @LoriWheeler  3 года назад +2

      Yes I have the mousy brown hair myself. I will say the best best decision I made personally was to cut it super duper short and start from there. I know its a big step and not for everyone. It just made it a lot easier on my patience :-)

    Oh,you have such courage!I am only 42 and probably 90% gray.I dye my hair with a more natural color in 5N.I just got tired of seeing my gray roots 2 to 3 weeks later.Was planning on going 2 shades lighter,but my husband is like "Just go gray!"
    I don't have the confidence yet.With my hair dyed,I am told I look in my early 30s.
    Not sure what to do....😭

    Your hair is beautiful....I want to let my hair go grey, but it feels like it's falling out especially when I shower....I'm debating if I'm going to cut it short and have my daughter bleach out the part so that I don't have to worry about the dark so much...Could you tell me what you would do? I'm just so tired of the continual service I have to do it it...

      @@LoriWheeler That's probably what I'm gonna do. I go back and forth on it. But I really don't want to damage it with bleach or dye any more than it is. I'll just keep getting regular trims until the blonde hair is gone. One year to go!😜

    Oh boy! Same with all of the so called natural things to try to lift the color off! I took my hair through the ringer and really my hair color changed - to super ugly - I should have either cut it off or leave it alone. I am going to grow to 4 inches gray and then get a pure sass cut. Feels like it takes forever and ultimately it is going to happen so, what evs... thanks for sharing your story. I've seen lots of vids but our stories are the most similar.
