Yeah and the photo is still crap. Is this your idea of good photography with everythign blurred? You seem to be more bothered about bokeh rather than good content and meaning.
Busy day to night. Quality images including light trails. My guess is that we’ve all messed w/a focus limiting switch before. Sporting of you to keep that part in the vid - good lesson. Cheers!
Beautiful Content as always! I have a Sony A7RV and 50mm 1.2 GM. Love them but I desperately need a telephoto lens because sometimes 50mm itsnt enough for street. Do you recommend the Sigma 70-200 or the GM 70-200? I know the latter is more expensive but I'm willing to work hard to get it if its a lot better than the Sigma. Also I'm getting your presets too. Should have done it long time ago. Thanks!
Wow what a great video and lens....was wondering whats your thought on tamrons 70-180 f2.8 G2 seems comparable. Which would you perfer I think the tamron is smaller and lighter. Both are intriguing me.
Yes, please. I’ve a Sony Alpha a6400 and been eyeing that lens for months!!! Not even a video, we can exchange emails or instagrams and you can send me pics of how the sigma holds with the a6400. Please!
Greetings, according to the SIGMA manual, the control of the diaphragm from the lens ring for this purpose, only works on compatible cameras and so far I have been unable to find a list with such cameras. On my sony A6000 it does not work, please tell me the APSC or FF model in which the ring works? This information will be very useful, I'm thinking of Sony a7C (when it has the price it should have) or A7III. Thanks a lot 😎
Ya know, I haven't tested it, unfortunately didn't get time 🥲 However, based onmy previous experience using a Sony 70-200 on an A6400 I don't see why this wouldn't perform just as well! Hope that helps Paul, have a great evening 😁
I'm yet to see any video that backs up these claims that the Sigma is sharper than the more versatile GM1 (for sports photographers it's capable of 30 fps and compatible with teleconverters). The GM1 is also better value than the Sigma because it's the same price new but also can be found used for considerably less. I was able to purchase both the GM1 and a SEL50F14Z used for less than the Sigma.
@@CurtisPadley First of all I’m a wildlife photographer and I need really fast lenses back in the day I bought the sigma 5-6.3 100-400 dg dn os contemporary, which I new isn’t the newest anymore but it was build for sport photography. I am quite much in talk with other wildlife photographers and they say that the newer sigma lenses are also nothing in autofocus comparison against Sony lenses
Great POV 👍🏻 just moved from a6400 to a7iv with sigma 24-70mm 2.8 perfect combo love it 👌 good luck to all ✌️
Thanks mate! Great upgrade lens and camera combo on point! 👌📸
@CurtisPadley a lot inspired by your contents keep it up mate 👍🏻 love you 🙏🏻
You are a brilliant photographer! Every RUclips video you upload is a joy to watch and I am learning a lot from them! Thank you Curtis
Wow, thank you! That's so awesome to hear! 😁
MORE MORE MORE MORE 70-200 GOODNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
That long exposure shot though! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I really like your way of reviewing equipment by putting it through its paces. That is really refreshing. Well done
the bokeh at 2.8 on this lens is just melting. nicely done!
Thanks mate! Glad you like my Bohek Balls 😂😂
😂

@@daniel_913 Why you have to be mad?
Dude, your attitude and charm is infectious! I watch a lot of these sorts of POVs and man, you truly are a great photographer.

15:25 - that long exposure shot is amazing! Talk about great timing.
Thanks for the mention at the end of the video Curtis appreciate it
the low light pictures are amazing. especially the long exposure at 15:20
Thanks mate! 🙌
Your videos are absolutely amazing!
Some of these are phenomenal!!
Great POV!!! Kyle is in town with his Sony 70-200mm GM V2…..very how those 2 lenses would compare. Man that GM lens is so fun and lite!
5:00 the bird in the top right as well to just accent the shot. well done.
Aye thanks, was pretty chuffed with that one! 🙌
I’m heading to Edinburgh next month for the first time in over a year, such a photogenic city. Great photos and edits as always…that long exposure 👌
Thank you! Have a fantastic time in 🏴
Photographing a photographer in action is cool.
Beginner over here do you have your ISO on auto.?? Love the video
Banger shots Curtis!!! That is a killer lens, out of my budget and don't shoot FF so I'll be jealous for now.
Thanks mate! 😁 Unfortunately it's not my lens, Sigma kindly loaned it to me to test out. Fingers crossed one day you can get one yourself 🤞
Nice video, beautiful edit 🙋✨
Love ur work bro !!! Ur way to take original shots with this lens is so impressive ! U inspire me ! Continue like that ur the best ❤
Hey, I see you're changing your shutter speed in every photo, depends on what?
You're changing it because of light or how fast ur objects move?

above of it, you have done a very fine job on post 👍👍
My dear producer - i have question the very sigma with A6700 ( does it make sense at all ? ) Any chance for movie ?
Can you do another vid with a aps-c camera??? Great video!
Thanks mate! Don't see why not in the future! 😁 Great shout, have a great evening! 👍

Cant wait till you go to a racetrack with this thing
Yesss that would be wicked! 🙌

Veeery sharp... then a hazy edit. 🙃
Glad you like it! 🙌🏴🎨
Loved it and some of your edits I want the light room presets
Thanks! Link in the description 🤙🏻
11:39 such a cool picture. wow
That’s awesome. I’ve been waiting for that.
I still haven’t seen anybody do any review of that lens with track or drifting cars compared to the GM
Amazing video
7:52 that guy looks fed up with the kid playing the bagpipes! 🤣🤣
He absolutely does! 😂
Great photos
Glad you like them!
15:22 wooowww
Stunning eh :)
Is ist good if I buy myself a Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 or what could I buy for Street/Traveling
Which focus mode you used in this video?

Any thoughts on how it performs on an APS-C like the 6400?

@@CurtisPadley it does indeed, I appreciate you taking the time to respond, thank you. Keep these videos comin' ❤️
Hey Curtis, would you pair this lens with an APS-C body? Thanks!
Yes, absolutely! I've paired the Sony A6400 W the Sony 70-200 F2.8 II before! 🙌
@@CurtisPadley thank you mate!
The quality is comparable to that of the sony! For a lot less too, tempted to give it a whirl. 😁
Which place is this? Btw picture are too good
It's in the title buddy, it's the beautiful city of Edinburgh 🏴
Is de autofocus snel?
Raw is better than final result...
Subjective opinion, fair enough 👍
So between this and the GMaster, which would you prefer?
Full Review coming soon mate 👌
nice...
1:38 is it me or the pincushion really bad on this lens?
sorry - i didnt get it yet. do u us a filter on your lens? How do you shoot without reflexions on the windows? - Thank you!
What the sigma
Have you got the release for all these people?
@@samlabrieross9594 No, Street photography is completely legal in the UK so there are no laws preventing me taking photos of people in public spaces.
@@CurtisPadley Even for publishing? That's good to know
will this work with my a6700?
Yes mate! 🤘🏻
Why were you using the polarizer on the street shot?
Probably to eliminate reflections on the windows!
Absolutely! Ideal for cafe windows or taking photos of taxi drivers, eliminates those pesky reflections! 🙌
when did you change # i used cpphotos a lot :D
Late last year, wanted to use somthing more rememberable. Hope to see your work on there in the future! 🙌
Aside from this being a great lens, you can also get a workout in 🤣
