I completely agree with this review. When I was watching other reviews i was kind of cringing at people yanking their hair with the conditioner. like sis where is the water at? After that I new I had to just purchase it and decide for myself. The leave-in is a must, so much definition with no gel needed and no greasy feeling. And the serums are great to but I will be using sparingly cause they aint cheap. The shampoo and conditioner are workable when you know what you're doing and are saturating your hair... But not a must in my arsenal, so I'll enjoy them while I have them. But overall after using all the products I was very satisfied with my hair. And I appreciate you taking time to really exlpain these products and review them properly, thank you!

Personally I think the price is fine , it was never marketed as a drug store brand or sold in them for that matter , it’s salon quality there for more concentrated making it able to use less . Quality cost thanks for the honest review** *update*** tried travel sizes and I loved the products, decided to skip the shampoo but got the intense conditioner, leave in and the argan oil serum. I will be getting the regular sizes once I finish the small ones I have .

If they had done that...then a lot of consumers and youtubers wouldn’t be so confused. People know Ulta for devacurl but Ulta is mainly a store that’s known for their European haircare products so that could’ve been another aspect as well. It is high end and I love it. I just feel bad about it not being received well.

It’s really cool but also interesting how we both had different experiences. You say you can’t really mix products, but I used the shampoo and deva curl conditioner together with no problems. The brush also hasn’t broken on me at all and I’ve had it for 2 months. I’m glad you talked about the accessories too because not a lot of people really talked about it. I’m also glad you loved the leave-in since I love it just as much as you😂
You can mix them they just pair really well together. Drop a tiny review of how that combo works for you. If you love the leave in we must have similar hair. I would love to read ya thoughts 😹
I have 4c hair and I really care about putting moisture back in my hair since I’m a swim teacher teaching kids in a salt and chlorinated water pool. I found that Pattern’s shampoo did what it was supposed to and it didn’t really strip my hair from too much moisture, it felt clean like you said. The intensive conditioner was nice, but I found that Deva’s was way more hydrating for me after using it after Pattern’s shampoo. Now that leave-in is like crack for my hair I love it lol. I found that detangling was soooo easy for me and faster than it usually is. The oil is great too. I usually use that when taking out my styles like you did. But I’m so in love with the leave-in, it’s something I will always repurchase. My hair is softer now than it has been for awhile.
I've seen several reviews on this product. Yours was the most entertaining and real in my opinion. I am a reformed product junkie so I never intended on buying any of these because I already have my staple products. I try new deep conditioners every now and then. But the prices of these is a no go anyways especially as long as my hair has gotten I need those ounces. Your videos are always great😘

Welp....if you have access to my ebooks then I wouldn’t worry about this line to much. However the leave in and oil serums are amazing for type 4 hands down. Especially the serum since regular natural brands dont make it the norm to carry oils like that.

Honestly it’s not your average oil. The leave in is definitely needed but I have a list of cheaper leave ins that are just as phenomenal. However!!!! That jojoba oil is actually a serum and that is harder to come by. That is a rare diamond that many companies over look 👀

Whether a product absorbs into your hair deals with porosity not hair type. Whether you will be able to detangle your kinky 4c hair deals with products having slip and this product has slip when hair is drenched with water.
The price point is more because of the ingredients! People need to know that ingredients matter! And especially when you’re trying to get high quality ingredients, that they will cost! Black owned, does not mean cheap!!

Sure can but all the products on each of my list softens kinky hair. That’s why I made all of those list so our kinky headed people would have a list of go to’s for slip and hair softening. 😹😹😹

I didn’t like the smell. Allergies couldn’t take it. Returned to Sally’s. Absolutely love the brush though.
The smell of all the products? The serum is a little strong but I use a lot of organic weird hair products so I didn’t pay attention to much.

Eugenia Riddick I couldn’t use either because of the scent. Perfume scents just don’t work for me. I can handle something with a more natural smell.
