Ummm you should've included a disclaimer: Those steamer usually require (distilled water) Only!
You left the parts on how you clean the steamer afterwards.. They are notorious for mold.
I'm curious is this still apart of your loc's moisturization routine ?

I didn't even think about doing that!
Tbh I haven't given myself a steam treatment since I left ND about a year ago.

Did you wash your hair afterwards? What else do you suggest to stream locs with other than the tea you made?

I didn't wash my hair afterwards. In your steam treatment you can use anything! I would suggest some sort of filtered or distilled water and if you'd like you could add essential oils (but that's totally optional).

I like the method you used, but did you leave the rosemary leaves and hibiscus leaves in when you poured the mixture in ? Also right under the hood in the middle there is a plastic plug , do you remove it? I’ve only use my hair steamer once. Thank you for sharing❤

Yes ma'am! I left the rosemary and hibiscus in until I was complete with my steam. Right under the hood is a plastic tube that connects the hood of the steamer to the container with the water, you don't remove it. Do you have the same steamer as me? I hope this info helps!

I can't speak for the hibiscus bc I don't use it often enough BUT I do use rosemary in my daily hair care routine and it's worked wonders

You can purchase dried hibiscus from a number of places like Walmart, Amazon, natural markets, tea shops, or herbal shops near you. I hope this helps :)
