    Hi I'm Loui! I am an adventurer at heart who loves to share every step of the way. My travels so far ,via camper van, jeep camper, and foot, have taken me all over North America. I started this channel in 2019 in hopes of inspiring other people like me who didn't exactly grow up living an adventurous lifestyle and who might be afraid to get started on their own adventures. Since then, it has turned into my full time job and something that I very passionate about. So, stick around to see the journey unfold!

    I too, at 60, have realized that as much as I prefer to travel with someone, I'm just going to have to go it alone because other people aren't able to take the risk and have the freedom to travel like I do. And like you said, life is short and to sit around and wait for others to be free to go on adventures is a waste of time. We need to seize the day and be brave and travel alone if need be and live as much life as we can live in the short time we have on this beautiful Earth. I wish I had had your insight when I was your age!❤

    Funny to run across this. I was born and raised in Stewart, living there until I was 18, and lived part of my childhood in Cassiar as well. When I was in university, I earned money in the summer by working in mining camps off the Granduc road (where you camped) and drove past the Salmon Glacier every day. It’s a great part of the Coast Range. Cool trip, have fun heading north.

  • @Scorpio1168
    @Scorpio1168 2 месяца назад +2

    Go buy moth balls and use wire ties to attach them every couple feet to the frame of the jeep. Some old timer told me to do that on my camper and ever since I did that, I've never had a mouse issue. I also throughout the camper when it's not in use scatter dryer lint sheets, as someone also suggested that. As much as you don't want to kill a mouse, they can cause serious damage to your vehicle, as they LOVE to chew the coating off the wires, which can worst case scenario cause your jeep to catch fire or the wires can short circuit leaving you stranded out in the bush. Personally I'd take whatever means is necessary to rid your jeep of them.

    Van lifing can get kinda lonely. I loved hiking the PCT and AT because I made a lot of friends out there. It's not something that you can really do with a dog (especially an older dog) but it's a rewarding and relatively inexpensive experience. Hostels overseas can be cheap and social too.
