Hi Stefani, you mentioned you would share with us on all the procedures you have done to make yourself so youthful . Are you going to do that video soon, we all can’t wait to see it, thank you.
You're always on top of the most interesting topics in the aesthetics industry right now. This channel has been such a great educational treasure trove. My personal dermatologist is Harvard laser fellowship-trained and board certified (mentored under Rox Anderson) and it's because of you that my standards in who I let treat my skin has been so sky high. The creme de la creme of the creme de la creme.
Yaaassssss!! Keeping it creme de la creme!! That makes me so happy!! Anyone fellowship trained is going to be among the best! And being trained by Rox is next level! So proud of you!!
I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and my healing is way too poor for most things...Blood test needles, sutures, IV needles, scratches that don't bleed and even some bruises below the skin scar me permanently. My wounds widen or reopen once sutures are removed. This rules out mainy, if not most things that are recommended. It would be amazing to have someone like you talk about things we COULD use for skin care. We don't make collagen properly, some of us have Tenascin X issues and fibroblast issues too. Even microneedling is not an option. It would be SO lovely to have skin care tips from someone like you because we are so excluded from most of this area, by most people of YT. ❤
I’ve had fairly severe tear troughs since I was a young child. I’m 32 now and considered filler a few years ago but ultimately decided against it. I saw several of my friends overfill their faces and didn’t want to take the risk. I definitely abused the tanning bed when I was younger and have spent the last 5-7 years staying out of the sun and doing what I can with high quality skincare. But the older I get, the more I’m considering filler as an option. I’m not in any rush at this point, so I’ll be taking my time to find a reputable provider. Thanks for always providing us with the education we need to make smart choices.
You gave me thermage and Fraxel at the same time. And boy was that “spicy”!!!! Results …… really good. Thank you. Next time I will do the thermage around the eye
Thank you Dr. Kappel as I’m sitting here watching this gem of your video after getting my 1st microneedling done (3days post op) 😂 my Derm recommended microneedling (3x) followed by TCA injections 😬 Oh boy! How I wish you had an office here in Vegas 🙏🏻 Looking forward to trying out your new skin care line. It’s been sitting on my shelf Thanks again for this informative video, concise, but yet very helpful. 🫶🏻
Ok, now I know where you’re located. Unfortunately I’m in Md. 😢 I have terrible under eye bags and definitely want to do something as well as my neckline. Just costly.
I am soo blessed to have stumbled on you as I was contemplating thermage, ulthera or morpheus RF microneedling. Gifting myself before my 50th in Oct but terrified about damage to my skin as hyperpigment easily but I'm rooting for thermage until YESTERDAY I LEARNED YOU CANNOT DO RF TREATMENTS LIKE THERMAGE IF YOU HAVE METAL IN YOU?? WHY? 😢 I HAVE A 1/2" STENT IN MY NECK PLAVE LAST SUMMER DUE TO A WEB SHAPED CAROTID ARTERY. UGH. HOW COME NO ONE IVE CONSULTED WITH FOR ANY OF THOSE TREATMENT, HAVENT MENTIONED THIS. CONTRAINDICATIONS ARE ALSO PREGNANT WOMEN WOMEN, DIABETICS, ETC...HMM DO I DO THERMAGE IN MY CASE IS THE DILEMA !!
Absolutely love your channel! I wish I lived there and could come to you for all my procedures and treatments! Quick question: For Thermage around the eyes, how many pulses should be done? And for the rest of the whole face how many pulses of Thermage would you recommend? Thank you!
Thanks for video! I have a consultation for under eye surgery this month and this definitely gives me more information on other treatments! I hope the doctor will discuss some of these with me!
It doesn't stay in the area because by nature PRF likes to be intravascular so it gets carried away quickly by your circulation but the growth factors that stick around with benefits like collagen stimulation. That said, the collagen stimulation doesn't come close to laser resurfacing or energy based devices. I've used them all and speak from experience. Glad you liked it tho and thanks for sharing!
I went to a very good Dermatologist who I've been seeing for some time. She used Juvaderm for my minor tear trough filler. In a few days it looked so good, I was THRILLED!!! I no longer looked tired. Unfortunately after 3-4 days is started migrating and looked like I had a shelf. I went in and had to have it dissolved. So utterly disappointed. I have heard that Restylane works better as it tends to stay in place. Is this true? Thank you!
Hello Dr.Kappel, I have been loving your videos and learning so much from you. I really and truly wish you had an office here in Las Vegas. After hearing you speak about laser treatments I really would like to get that performed. Do you know of a cosmetic dermatologist here in the Las Vegas area that you would recommend? I am finding the most difficult part is finding reputable providers that you can trust. Thank you!!
Hello Dr. Stefani, I love you and think you are the best at what you do. Unfortunately I live in Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and wanted to know if you could recommend a great Dermatologist and doctor for under eye surgery?xoxo
Thanks for sharing! This is my problem area. Hallows. I had filler but not much improvement. I wish I could come see you! I don’t know who to trust in Ohio.
@@nicoleb8444 Dr. Frank Barone in Toledo Oh. is highly recommended. He’s a plastic surgeon and has a staff that does all kinds of anti aging treatments. Just expensive 😟
Thank you for this information. I have a question about your videos - are you using a filter or is this your natural skin? It looks like a filter, but if you are getting results from the procedures that look flawless like this, I'd like to know what the procedures are.
This is my skin with only sunscreen on and a ring light for lighting. I've wanted to be a dermatologist since I was 8 years old and have always been obsessed with skin. Hopefully my patients out there can back me up that my skin looks like this in person. It's usually the first thing they say when I meet them in person.
Doctor Stefanie, I had my upper eyelids done by an occuloplastic plastic surgeon and want to have my lower eye bags done. He’s very good and his name is Dr.Zwick in Annapolis, Md. we talked about doing the procedure after my checkup. Would you say it’s safe to say he’d be the one to stay with?
I have a question Doc, I have gotten Botox for about 20 years and I’m thinking of getting Xeomin next time. I’ve heard good things about it and I know it lacks a protein that Botox had. Do you feel Xeomin is just as good as Botox and is it safe?
Yes I like xeomin a lot. I like that it lacks the preservative that Botox has. Sometimes it doesn't last as long as botox but its a good option for those to react to botox
In your opinion, what’s the best treatment for festoons? I’ve had two erbium/yag 1540 treatments. The first seem to help but, the second seem to make there areas worse. Almost like there’s fluid there. Any suggestions?
@@DrStefaniKappelmy previous injector mentioned I have festoons. Luckily I live in LA and come visit your office for a second opinion! Would love to work with you, especially with your wealth of knowledge regarding lasers

Thank you again for being an unsponsored derm we can trust! I look forward to these weekly uploads 😊
Thank you so much!! Its so important to me to remain unsponsored, so I'm glad you appreciate it!!

Agreed So many people have EDS but would like to each well. With proper procedures that aren’t related to the collagen
Would love to see a video on at home devices.
Will do!

Is Thermage an option for pigmented skin or those with hyperpigmentation??
Thanks so much for all you do and the amazing information ♥️
Yes. Morpheus 8 ruined my skin. Made it more like and lax. Very sad. And don’t know what I can do to tighten up my skin?
Thank you for sharing this video. Really great information. Take care.
Of course! you too!
Thanks for the very the succinct advice!
Would love to hear your thoughts on PRF under the eye.
I’ve had fibroblast twice on the upper and lower eyelids and it’s miraculous.
I consulted with an ocuplastic surgeon and he recommended sublative radio frequency for under my eyes to tighten up the skin there.

Hmmm would you not recommend EZ PRF gel? I am so afraid of filler, I have been getting that and next is laser. I have generic hollows.
Excellent video! 💜
Thanks!

What are your thoughts on PRF in the tear trough area?
Yes
We love VI Precision Plus Peels. These can be done in Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI

What are your thoughts on Fotona6 lasers? Thanks
How do u treaty xanthelasma pls
fraxel does not destroy filler/makes it last less? (you meant CO2, right?)
thanks for the clarification.
Dr. Kappel, if possible will you refer me to a knowledgeable plastic surgeon and injector in the Tucson AZ area?
Is the gauge of the cannula the same as that of a needle? Is there any risk of a scar from the cannula if it does have a larger diameter?
Hi do you have any colleagues in the Chicago area for therma-frax?
Doc do you have any recommendations for Fairfax Virginia area? For co2

How does your upper procedure look. That’s how you judge if you should use him again
What did you decide. I’m looking for someone who is very skilled with co2 in the northern valleys Virginia area

Will you have a office in the nyc office?
Do you know when one can start doing laser after Eyebag surgery?

I usually correct festoons with contour using a cannula and then laser resurfacing on top to tighten it up ;)

just had bag removed by top eye surgeon... didn't know that was "old fashioned" way.. :-(
❤️
What about microneedling at home?
I’m in Nebraska do you recommend anyone here
Hi dra! Is c02 and fraxel different? How are they different? My clinic here said they work the same. 😔
CO2 is stronger and has more downtime
Hi. Do you run any promos on your skincare site?
Every once in a while, yes! We also offer bundles of products that work well together at a lower price ❤️
How do I purchase your products?
You can purchase on my website www.mdaire.com :)
Who’s a good ocularplastic surgeon in nyc?
Which filler did she say? Also she sells her own products so that’s not much diff than being sponsored …
20-30 patients a day it s just 15 min per person
really way to quick, i would not like it for a cosmetic dermatologist.
i would expect 1 hour at least
