    I have arthritis throughout my whole body. I’m 62 years old. I’ve tried all the pills and creams on the market, but found they are all just bandaids. Something I did find is by eliminating carbs out of my diet, helped with the inflammation around my joints. So in turn, I’m now not on any meds and it’s made a huge difference within about a month. Studies show carbs are also a sugar spike. I am a type 2 diabetic and my numbers have improved greatly. Hope this helps anyone who is reading this.

      Thank you for sharing your experience. It is great to hear that eliminating carbs from your diet has helped with your arthritis inflammation and also improved your blood sugar levels as a type 2 diabetic. While medication can be helpful in managing arthritis symptoms, dietary changes such as reducing carb intake may also have a positive impact on inflammation and overall health; Your story may inspire others who are dealing with similar health challenges to explore new solutions and strategies.

      Hello JOANNE, i strongly recommend adding ginger, turmeric, MORINGA or ALL to your daily intakes. I have seen best results in the morning on an empty stomach. An olive oil/lemon water shot in the mornings may last you all day. GOLDEN MILK, turmeric w/little black pepper, ginger water is cheap to make and very beneficial. I couldn't make a fist before; but, i blame the MORINGA powder. It's from the tree of life; and, it could also help with your diabetes. I know APPLE CIDER VINEGAR can help with your sugar levels. 1 tbsp w/water in the morning, that's it. Do it religiously. It will also help with you B.P. Some foods may trigger your arthritis pains? Now you know what they do not want you to know. Start taking better care of yourself; but, with more jingle in your pocket, Ciao.

      That’s very interesting to hear. I’m also 62 and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis a few years ago, it mainly affects my wrists which flare up at times and at other times are manageable. It is very difficult to eliminate carbs, so would be interested to know how you managed to do this as I would like to stop taking the meds. I’m also type 2 diabetic but unfortunately have a sweet tooth! Thanks in advance.

    I developed arthritis from a car crash at 32 years old and reversed it completely. I used Boron + Vitamin D3/K2 at 50,000 iu daily. I also took most sugar out of my diet, especially high fructose corn syrup. Had lots of salad and greens, no fruit or fruit juice, only berries, frozen blueberries to be exact, organic. I had sausage toes, could barely get up and stand in the morning for a while, but as i researched i found what i needed.
    Best wishes to all.

      Hi, did you mean 5,000 iu safe to take daily for Vitamin D3/K2 because 50,000 seems to potentially cause other issues and how many mg of Boron daily? Thanks.

    • @kevindame3757
      @kevindame3757 4 месяца назад

      @@amancheema1811 Nope, I mean 50,000 IU daily and you can do more than that too. When you have an autoimmune condition, you don't need the ordinary healthy person's maintenance dosage, you need to FLOOD your body with it, and it is absolutely safe, even at higher doses of 80,000 and up. But I take Dr. Berg's formula which has 10,000 IU per pill, so five pills a day is 50,000 IU, but don't take my word for it. TRY it and start feeling better after you have finished your first bottle. I helped a lady at my work too, says she feels so much better, no longer waking up screaming in pain.

      P.S. 6 mg of Boron, I used the life extension brand and I still do from time to time. That stuff over time can cure bunions too.

      You might have problems if you only use cheap generic D3 from the Walmart or what have you...because you need K2 to appropriate where the calcium is going in your body, (where it is distributed). This is what K2 does, among other things. If you just take calcium by itself, you may have more calcium buildup on your artery walls and you don't want that. You can also have a higher chance of kidney stones down the road. Take K2 with your D3!!

In my region the required supplements are not access in the pharmacy or market. Changes in living style and foods habits has tremendously changed. From experience Biofreeze, Diclofenac doesn’t go deep enough for my pain, the wrist braces are cumbersome if I want to do anything with my hands which is everything😵‍💫haven’t tried turmeric supplements yet. The paraffin wax is heavenly only temporary relief.
    I had to retire from a very lucrative Massage Therapy practice, went to Esthiology graduated 2 months later diagnosed (knew something wrong while in school) not realizing how much massage was involved. I do use my king size heating pad almost live on it in the winter months or when I have a several day migraine. The Therawrap doesn’t work for me either. Fish oil is very expensive! Haven’t had much relief with Vitamin D.

    I take vitamin D and fish oil every day, but sadly it hasn't helped the arthritis at all. I also tried turmeric and that was a fail too. Voltaren can help my hands/wrists, but not so much on my spine. I'm currently trying boswellia extract twice daily. While it does seem to be helping my gut, it hasn't done much so far with the arthritis. I've been taking it about three weeks now. I've heard that it can take up to 3-4 months before seeing the final result of daily boswellia. It was said that it is as strong as anti-inflammatory medications. I'm still waiting for that to happen. I've also tried menthol creams with very little benefit. What does help a lot is lidocaine patches on my tailbone. I get quite a bit of relief from that, which is surprising because the absorption of lidocaine is only about 1/4 inch at best. Apparently numbing the nerve endings is a pretty good source of relief. I also wear splints overnight for my hands/wrists. I find that I can get into various positions during sleep, but getting out of those quirky positions is extremely painful. The bottom line for me is that there is NOTHING that takes the place of anti-inflammatories like diclofenac, naproxen, ibuprofen. Sadly, I'm in stage 2 kidney failure and I can't take them anymore. It is a journey now to find what works and what doesn't.

      I reversed my crippling arthritis which had put me in a wheelchair, by giving up all dairy products. It worked. But in my research I found that any animal protein could also make my joints sore. This means it was gouty arthritis. My mother had this.
      Now 10+ years later, I am still wheelchair-free. Most days, I walk up to 7 miles. What a difference. I’ve also lost 80 lbs. I am a WHPB (Whole Foods Plant-Based), vegan.
      No food is so tasty that being a cripple was better. I still have the wheelchair so if I get a notion that meat is worth all that pain, I look at my wheel chair and go eat a salad, or some fruit or a veggie burger.
      I have my life back. The 80 lbs. I lost - the first 50 came off without exercise. Then the rest came off with the same diet but with doing 10,000 Steps a Day, a walking program you can track from a smart phone or smart sports watch.
      I follow Dr. John McDougall as I found his book, “The Starch Solution”, was the easiest to understand and to follow.
      My husband changed his diet but waited to have stage 4 cancer first. He is well now, and cancer-free.

    I wish people who recommend turmeric would also advise that it can also thin the blood, as I have experienced.

    • @rheumatologistoncall
      @rheumatologistoncall  Год назад +3

      You're right that turmeric contains compounds called curcuminoids, which can have a blood-thinning effect. This is because curcuminoids can inhibit platelet aggregation, which is an important step in blood clotting.
      While this blood-thinning effect can have health benefits for some people, such as reducing the risk of blood clots, it can also pose a risk for others, particularly those who are taking medications that also thin the blood, have bleeding disorders, or have recently had surgery.
      It's essential to be aware of the potential risks and side effects of any supplement or medication you take, including turmeric.
      In general, it's best to be cautious with supplements and to follow dosage and usage instructions carefully. It's also important to remember that while turmeric may have health benefits, it's not a substitute for medical treatment or advice.

I am disappointed that these things don't work for me because I am now in much pain due to progression of the diseases over time. It is STRONG, I did that one time and it's been awhile and can't remember exactly how I felt at the time but, I DO KNOW that it wasn't a good thing, I do remember that my heart was fluttering and it was a bit scary for me. So ,i never did that again ! 😮 my hands are so darn bad. They are so swollen and unreal pain. Changes your life style for sure.

    8:19 vitamin d - Curious what ya think of this. I was taking vitamin d and then I started getting plaque in my artery's and calcium in my lungs. showed up getting worse on several ct's, stopped vit d and growth stopped - confirmed thru CT & ultrasound, started again and growth happened again. What do you think is the cause? Imbalance of other vitamins or minerals in my body?

    • @rheumatologistoncall
      @rheumatologistoncall  Год назад +6

      Vitamin D doesn’t cause plaques in your arteries, even excessive use of calcium supplements are questionable.

      One needs to take Vit. K along with calcium to keep the calcium absorption going into the bones and not going into the arteries.

    My nephrologist advised me against diclofenac because he believes it can be absorbed enough to cause kidney problem. Do you agree? I started to use it before it was available in the US. My friend was able to get it from Portugal. I had found it tone very effective.

      The European version is more effective than the U.S. formula. Did they dilute the U.S. version? I wonder. I had both and could feel the difference.

      every patient is different but the cream has very little absorption in the blood stream, check your kidney function if you are using the cream and see if that is affected or not.Thank you for watching my videos!
